Synopsis: With Cross being buddy-less, what is going to happen next? Meanwhile, Da Dan is plotting some sinister. What could he possibly want this time?
Under a stormy evening, Garcat goes home while carrying some groceries and at the same time carrying an umbrella. He is singing some songs happily as he walks on the road.
Garcat: One Two. One Two. One Two My Name is Garcat. Walking home with the groceries. Gonna get some good treats. Yes, Sir Me.
Garcat stops to a halt as he somehow passes by....CROSS??? Cross is soaking up in the rain while feeling very sad and down. Feeling shocked to see this, Garcat immediately brings him to Hou's House.
Garcat: Hou. BIG NEWS.
Witnessing this, Hou feels confused as Cross is at the front door beside Garcat.
Hou: Cross? What's going on?
Cross: It's Daryl...he banished me.
Hou: Oh, I see. Wait. WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????
Hou immediately wipes the water off of Cross's body with the towel. Thus, he's all dried up. However, not all things are over yet. They all discuss in Hou's room. The Gar Trio, Cross, Garga & Hou are there.
Hou: Not this again. First, Daryl is upset over his loss, and now this? Not to be rude, but Daryl seriously has lost it.
Garga: But to banish his own buddy? This is too far.
Garcat: Ah!!! If Hou one day banishes Master Garga himself, what am I going to do, cat?
Garga: (Side-eye) Nonsense. He wouldn't.
Hou: Cross. I'm really sorry that this happened to you.
Cross: I honestly didn't expect it as well. At first he was okay, but now I'm really concerned and feel abandoned. What am I going to do?
Hearing this, everyone feels sad. Suddenly, Hou's Mother comes in with hot tea.
Hou: I bought some tea.
Hou's Mother: Not Now. Sorry Ma.
Cross: It's fine. Thanks anyway. (Sips a cup) Honestly, I could just go back to Daryl. But I'm sure he would have just locked me out. Why though? Just because I wasn't able to win? Daryl, this is wrong.
Hou: Yeah. Buddies should stick together regardless. I mean, when he lost to me, he didn't seem to mind. So why now, though?
Garga: I'm not sure as well. But I think we should not worry about that.
Hou: (Distraught) How could you say that? I mean, Cross just lost his buddy. You sound like you don't care about him at all, Garga.
Garga: Of course I do care. But right now, like you said, we have no Idea why. Plus, if we bring Cross back to Daryl or even visit him, he would just shut us out like Cross said. Our only option is to wait.
Hou: Erghh...Fine, you're right. You know what, Cross? For the time being, why don't you stay with us for a while?
Cross: Eh? Are you sure?
Garga: Of course, we don't mind having you as a house guest.
Garcat: We'll take care of you no matter what.
Cross: I...(Happy Tears) Thank you so much.
Outside his room, Hou's mother is concerned yet happy while listening to their conversation in secret. She crosses her arms while doing so.
Hou's Mother: [That's my son for you. Always a helping hand.]
Meanwhile, while the storm is going on, under a bridge, Da Dan reacts to his loss the other day furiously through his phone. With Garga's cyclone striking forth and so on, Da Dan's expression turned bitter.
Da Dan: How dare they broadcast my epic loss? Especially when it's a tag fight. That lousy Hou and his friends.
Da Dan suddenly receives a notification, which catches his attention in shock when he sees it.
Da Dan: OH COME ON. NOT ANOTHER DELETION REQUEST. I had had enough. I'm going to spam a bunch of mean comments on Hou's channel. (Realizes) Wait...that's it!!! (Smiles Menacingly) Hehehe. I just have a great Idea.
At school the next day, at one of the cafeteria tables, the gang gathers around to discuss the matter with Cross & Daryl. They are all frustrated.
Gwen: I see. So Cross now currently stays in your place.
Masato: I can't believe that, Daryl. Banishing Cross on the spot? Man, he really can't catch a break, but still.
Hou: Tell me about it. And I thought I was mostly an idiot, but no, Daryl is being petty at this point.
Garga: I don't think petty is the right word, but I would say he's more of a sore loser.
Hou: He's lucky that he's not hearing this. But once again, he skipped school. I know he's the Ace of Study and all, but this is really dragging through the mud. With a capital M.
Agito: You know, Hou, you suddenly sound like Ranma. You know, being annoyed.
Hou: Am I? (scratch the back of his head) Weird, I guess you have a point. Never mind that, there's gotta be a way for Cross to, like, reconnect with Daryl.
Garga: No, Hou. I told you this before. We need to be patient. After all, just like when you recover from your loss with Ranma, he needs to do the same.
Hou: But...
Garga: No buts. Time heals all wounds. Let alone do the work.
Masato: He's right, Hou. Besides, we can't do anything at this point. Best not to interfere.
Suddenly, the bell rang.
Gwen: Gotta get back to class.
Hou: Right.
Masato: See you guys.
While everyone heads back to class, Da Dan sneaks around behind one of the cafeteria walls while laughing menacingly. A few hours later, Hou & Garga walks home. The moment they enter the door...
Hou: Cross. Ma. I'm ho...
They are quite surprised; the entire downstairs shines like a shimmering diamond. The glass windows sparkle. The walls spark like the sun itself. In the living room, Cross & Hou's Mother is sitting down, relaxed.
Hou's Mother: Oh. Welcome home ,you two.
Hou: What happened to the living room?
Hou's Mother: Cross Dear helped me out with the cleaning. And that's not all, he even cooked me a delicious feast.
Cross: It's no big deal. Back in Star Dragon World, I am an expert chef when I'm this size.
Hou: Wow...Impressive.
Suddenly, Hou hears a doorbell at his door. This catches them by surprise. Hou opens the door and suddenly becomes shocked and disgusted. It's Da Dan.
Da Dan: Hello, Hou Ren.
Hou: YOU!!! How Did You Find My House?
Da Dan: What are you talking about? Your Mom invited me.
Hou: What?
Hou's Mother: He's right. (Comes in) Da Dan here somehow bumps into me while I was shopping for groceries, and he says that he wants to talk to you about something urgent.
Hou: You can't be serious. Ma. That's Da Dan. He's like an A-class jerk.
Da Dan: Look Hou. I know we have our differences. But I came here because I want to apologize for what I've done for the past couple of days.
Garga: (Barges In) Never. After what you did to humiliate my buddy and at the same time hacked our channel, No Chance.
Da Dan: Look I get it. But I want to change, okay. I'm sorry for what I have done, and I promise you I want to be good this time.
Hou's Mother: He sounds genuine, and in fact, he says he's willing to cook us some dinner today, and he's going to be staying for 3 days. As your new roommate.
Hou & Garga: WHAT???
Hou's Mother: Just give it time, and you two will be friends before you know it.
Hou & Garga are really angry and skeptical, but they reluctantly gave in. Eventually, when nighttime arrived, Da Dan & Cross together cooked some dinner for them. Meanwhile, Hou & Garga remain skeptical as always. Dinner is then served, and they all enjoy their meal. While everyone enjoys their rice, Da Dan suddenly bursts out in spice.
Da Dan: Ah. Hot. Hot. Hot. HOT!!! (Drinks some water)
Once again, the duo is feeling very skeptical. Later, Hou is doing homework in his room, and Da Dan suddenly offers him his eraser. Hou once again feels very reluctant, but he accepts otherwise. A few minutes later, Hou is editing his new videos on his computer until suddenly Da Dan just gives him a few advice on editing. Again, feeling skeptical but accepts otherwise. While all of this is happening, Garga finds it very strange. Later in the middle of the night, Hou prepares for bed.
Hou: Goodnight, everyone.
Da Dan: (Comes in out of nowhere) Goodnight, Mr Hou Ren. I even took the liberty of preparing your bed for you.
Hou: (Desperately grabs his shoulder) Okay, Mr, really? What is up with you? Why are you being like very nice all of a sudden?
Da Dan: What? I told you, I just want to change and be nice.
Hou: Yeah, right.
Da Dan: Please. Hou. I know you don't trust me, but I promise you I have changed. As they say, if we don't have trust, we don't have anything.
Hou: Hmm...good point. You okay sleeping next door?
Da Dan: Of course, don't worry about me.
Hou: Okay. Goodnight. (Goes inside his room)
Da Dan watches him go inside, and he then goes inside his room too. 10 minutes later, Da Dan sneaks into Hou's room. Gently here and there, he sneaks around menacingly and searches through Hou's stuff quietly. He manages to find Hou's deck and steals it. He goes outside the house and stops at a nearby park. In front of the river, he's about to throw his deck.
Da Dan: He He He. (About to Throw) Out you go.
???: Out what go?
Suddenly, Hou & Garga appear behind him, much to his horror and surprise. The two are looking very displeased as they cross their arms.
Da Dan: Wha...HOU??? Aren't you supposed to be asleep?
Hou: Don't change the subject. Hand me back my deck now.
Da Dan: But...
Garga: We knew we couldn't trust you. The moment we saw you entering our house, we already had a feeling that you were planning something dirty.
Hou: In fact, in case you didn't notice...(Flashback) I saw you put a bunch of hot spicy powder on my dinner plate. Garga notices that too and swapped your dinner plate with mine.
Da Dan: You...
Garga: You wanted Hou to go spicy tongue, and then you can pretend to get him some water. In reality, you plan to steal his deck and escape. How foolish of you to do so.
Da Dan: {angry} Why you...
Hou: When that plan failed, you decided to steal my deck while I was asleep. You patiently bided your time until I was "fully asleep", and you came in and stole my deck.
Da Dan: You knew??? How???
Hou: It's because before that, I asked Cross to do some fortune-telling. That's when I put a plan into action. And presto, here we are.
Da Dan: Erghh...Fine. It's because of how you humiliated me during our last fight. This is revenge. And now that I have it, there's nothing you can do about it, loser.
Garga: (shakes his head) Da Dan. Da Dan. Da Dan. You honestly believe that Hou only has one deck?
Da Dan: Huh? What do you...
Hou shows his Katana World Deck, much to Da Dan's surprise!!!
Hou: Fight me right now. If I win, give me my other deck back.
Da Dan: Fine. But I guarantee you won't win this time. (Sets up a buddyfight stage)
The machine activates, and both players step onto the pads. Thus ,the stage is formed and both players begin to luminize.
Da Dan: Dragonblood Sect. Gather before the Great Da Dan. Luminize. Bloody Nightmare.
Hou: A deity's dragon ninja troopers at your beck and call. Come On. Luminize. DraNinja.
Ion & Tako suddenly appear on stage.
Ion: Whenever there's a buddyfight you can find us, Ion & Takokichi. Wait. HOU IS THAT YOU? What are you doing here in the middle of the night???
Hou: Da Dan stole my deck, Ion. So I'm fighting to get it back.
Ion: Really? That's Low. But anyway...
Ion & Tako: Buddy....FIGHT!!!
Both: Raise the Flag.
Da Dan: Dragon World.
Hou: Katana World.
Ion: Da Dan has the first move.
Da Dan: Draw. Charge & Draw. Cast. Dragonic Charge Plus. (Gains 2 gauge) I buddycall Bloody Eyes to the right.
Bloody Eyes appears once again.
Ion: Looks like Da Dan starts off with a buddycall. And he also equips pleading gloves. And now Bloody Eyes is on the offensive.
Bloody Eyes: Slake your pain. (Shoots)
Hou: Cast. Art of Body Replacement. (Blocks)
Tako: Oooh. And a counter spell by Hou himself. And now it's his turn. Let's see what he does.
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. Nincat to the left.
Nincat: (Appears) Let's do this, cat. Nin.
Hou: Discarding Art of Getting Fish, and I increase my hand and gauge. With Getting Fish, I gain two more gauge. I buddycall Garga to the right.
Garga: (Appears) All are powerless before my blade.
Hou: Equip. Deity Dragon Blades, Garkunai. (Equips a pair of Kunais)
Ion: Oooh. A new item.
Da Dan: Hahaha. I've been waiting for this. Bloody Eye's ability activates.
Bloody Eyes: Now. Fall into Slumber.
Once again, Garga is under control.
Ion: Ohhh. Da Dan just used Bloody Eye's ability to control Garga once again.
Hou: Not so fast. I cast. Water Technique, Minawagakushi. Garga returns to my hand.
Da Dan: Say what???
Garga suddenly vanishes inside a water tornado, and he returns to Hou's Hand.
Hou: Too close.
Ion: Whoa. Hou just pulled an Uno Reverse Card and just returned Garga to his hand!!!
Hou: You didn't think I fell for the same trick twice, right? And let me say it, I'm going to destroy you in just one turn. Once again, Garga to the right.
Garga: (Appears) Are you sure? Just one turn? That's a difficult trick to pull off.
Hou: I got this. Set spell, Meditation in the Bamboo Forest. Garga, attack the fighter.
Garga: As you wish.
Da Dan: Nuh Uh Uh. I cast, Dragotrap. Garga cannot attack.
Hou: Then I'll activate Bamboo Forest's effect. When my opponent casts a spell, by paying 1 gauge & discarding a hand card, that spell does not activate.
Da Dan: WHAT????
Ion: Holy Cow. Since when has Hou use a set spell??? Especially when nullifying spells themselves.
Hou: Further. I discarded Fuuton Sweeping Whirlwind, so I draw one card. Anyway, Garga, it's all yours.
Garga: With pleasure. (Attacks and Deals Damage) That's for being a scoundrel and stole Hou's deck.
Ion: Wait, three damage? I thought Garga had a critical of 2.
Hou: Gar-Kunai increases Garga's critical by one.
Garga: Double attack. (Attacks)
Da Dan: Cast. Blue Dragon Shield.
Hou: Nincat.
Nincat: Leave it to me, cat. Nin. (Throws Kunais)
Da Dan: Cast. Green Dragon Shield.
Hou: G-EVO Activate. Change. Gargantua Wind Demon Dragon.
Garga: (G-EVO) I am the Deity of Ninja. Gargantua Wind Demon Dragon.
Hou attacks with Gar Kunai, causing 2 damage. 6 life left. Now Wind Demon strikes, another 2 damage. Garga double attacks, and it hits again, 2 life left.
Ion: You seeing this, folks? Hou just dealt severe amounts of damage. Incredible.
Tako: Both Him and Garga are dishing out attacks like serving food through Lunch Hours, chu.
Da Dan: Phew. Oh my gosh. I can't believe I survived that. You have no cards left. I...Huh?
Unfortunately for him, Hou's Aura farming as blue energy surrounds him, and his expression is full of rage. His eyes glow blue. Much to his fear.
Hou: End this now. Replicate!!!
Garga activates his ninja art, and all of a sudden, two more copies of Garga face down just come forth. Everyone's shocked.
Da Dan: OH NO. I forgot that Garga can summon clones of himself. I'M DOOMED.
Clone #1 : Indeed ,You Are.
Clone #2: You're finished.
Hou: GO.
The clones attack the frightened Da Dan and deliver the final blow to his opponent. Da Dan yells out loud, and his flag is destroyed in just a split second.
Ion: GAME END. THE WINNER IS HOU REN. UNBELIEVABLE. OUR ACE OF GAMES JUST OBLITERATED HIS OPPONENT IN JUST ONE SINGLE TURN. THIS IS REALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD.
Garga: Gotta Say. Even I'm surprised. Well done, Hou.
Hou: Don't mention it. (To Da Dan) Now, hand me My Deck Back.
Da Dan: Grr....HERE. (Toss his deck back)
Hou nearly drops his deck while catching it in a funny way.
Da Dan: I'm out suckers. (Runs away)
Hou: Funny, he runs away, yet his stuff is still with us.
Garga: Not true. I already took care of it.
Outside of Hou's house, all of Da Dan's stuff is piled up like trash outside of the front door. There's even a sign that says, "Don't come back, lousy scoundrel". The next day, Hou's mother apologizes to his own son for what happened.
Hou's Mother: I'm sorry, Hou Ren. I shouldn't have let him come into our house like this. If I knew he would steal your deck, then I wouldn't have let this happen.
Hou: Ma. You know that he hacked my channel once, and yet you decided to trust him by letting him inside. What were you thinking?
Hou's Mother: I know...I'm sorry. I just believed that he could change and...
Hou: NO. HE CANNOT.
Garga: Calm Down, Hou. In any case, all that matters is that it's settled. And funny like Da Dan said once, if we don't have trust, we don't have anything. And Cross. Thank you for the fortune-telling.
Cross: Don't mention it. Anyway, who wants some muffins? My baking skills are an expert level.
Hou: Yeah, Sure. I love muffins.
Hou's Mother: (sigh) You know, Da Dan really cooked well with that Curry Rice of his. I'm gonna miss him.
Hou & Garga angrily yell "SHUT UP" towards their mother in a funny way, leaving Cross in an awkward expression.
Anime Ending: Buddy Funny Days
Hou: The prelims have come to a close, and thus Masato & I are moving on. Meanwhile, Gwen says she wants to buy new cards. Next time, "Radiant Electrodiety". Join us for a buddyfight.
