Ion: The Ace Buddyfighter Playoffs started a few weeks ago, and now we are here to say that it's officially come to a close for the prelims. 16 players have become Shop Representatives, featuring Masato Rikuo & Teng Hou Ren.
Tako: That's not all. Daryl Hoshino & even Vile Ranma & Seiji Kido ARE also included. And as much as we want the second round to begin. We cannot.

Suddenly, a glowing card flies out of Gwen's Pack. This catches everyone's attention, and they're indeed surprised to see that a monster arises. The monster presents himself as someone with long hair, a samurai-like appearance, knots and etc.
???: I am Radiant Electrodeity, Ameno-Wakahiko. And you must be my buddy?
Suddenly, Amaterasu (cat-form) just transforms and presents herself.
Ameno: Ahhh!!! Lady Amaterasu.
Amaterasu: I'm her buddy for this one.
Masato: Sorry, Pal.
Ameno: (Discouraged) Oh Dear....Just when I thought I could finally be with my destined buddy.
Amaterasu: (chuckles) Well, too bad, because Gwen is my buddy.
Garga: Interesting. Another Electrodeity. Like Amaterasu, I believe you can possess.
Ameno: I sure can. Watch. (Vanishes)
Ameno suddenly possesses Hou after transforming into a spirit. But before that, Hou was quite surprised. Now, Hou is suddenly glowing, and Ameno suddenly just uses his body to pull off some silly faces and tricks. Everyone laughs at him, and after 20 seconds, Ameno releases his possession.
Ameno: What do you think?
Masato: Gotta admit, that is something.
Garga: Are you alright, Hou?
Hou: Yeah, I'm fine. First time people. Like one half of me becomes one with Ameno, and the other half is like...sleeping.
Garga: Is that so? Gwen, do you feel the same way?
Gwen: I do, yes. It's the same thing that happened when I got possessed. Speaking of which, what are your abilities?
Ameno: I'll show you. (Transforms into his card and passes it to Gwen)
Gwen: 4000 power and 10000 defense. And his ability is not bad either. Looks like he can be a useful ally.

A buddyfight stage machine is activated, and Masato & Gwen are facing each other for the first time. Ion & Takokichi appear once again as Commentators.
Ion: Whenever there's a buddyfight, you can find us, Ion & Takokichi. Today, we have the Ace of Sports, Masato Rikuo, versus my best girl, Gwen Hanoaka. Hey girl, what took you so long to buddyfight again?

Masato: The Linked Spiral is our chain of bonds. Luminize. Spiral Linkdragon Order.
Ion & Tako: Buddy...FIGHT.
Both: Raise the Flag.
Masato: Ancient World.
Gwen: Katana World.
Ion: The first move goes to Gwen.
Gwen: Draw. Charge & Draw. Equip. Kagura-bell of Worship. (Does So & Attacks)
Masato receives 1 damage.
Gwen: My turn is over.
Masato: For Share. Draw. Charge & Draw.
Suddenly, Masato hears bell chimes.
Gwen: Posses. Radiant Electrodeity, Ameno Wakahiko.
Ameno once again appears and possesses Gwen.
Ameno: To think I'm here already.
Masato: Whoa, she's using him now? Then I gotta step it up. Cast. Linkdragon Order's Links. (Increase Resources) I call Mazuru to the center.
Mazuru: (Appears) I'm Mazuru. I'm prepared to fight for the Linkdragon Order.
Garga: Oh. A new monster, too.
Masato: Mazuru lets me search for an Item and equip it. (Equips Wildaxe) I call Johaku to the left.
Johaku enters play.
Masato: And, I pay 1 gauge and buddycall Thunderaxe, Agito to the right.
Agito: (Appears) Mazuru and Johaku, may your strength today lead us to victory.
Both: Right.
Masato: Joy, sadness, and strength. Now's the time to unite as one.
All: DRAGON SHARE. (Glows)
Ion: THERE IT IS. MASATO'S SPECIALTY. DRAGON SHARE.
Masato: For Share. With Johaku's dragon share, all of my cards gain 5000 power.
Ameno: Not so fast. Cast. Electrodeity's Curse. (Pays 1 gauge) I force Agito & Wildaxe to rest.
Masato: Uh Oh...Then, Johaku. Attack the fighter.
Johaku attacks.
Ameno: My ability activates. I'll diminish your power. (Pays 1 gauge & draws a card) Your power is reduced by 3000.
Masato: Aww man. Then Johaku & Mazuru, link attack.
Ameno: Cast. Ceremonial, Fire Mirror. (Blocks the attack) Too Bad, but your attack is nullified. I can't let anyone harm precious little Gwen.
Amaterasu: Indeed. She is my buddy after all.
Ameno: And when I prove my worth, Gwen will surely accept me as her buddy.
Amaterasu: {annoyed} Nope. Not gonna happen.
Hou: But still, Mazuru has double attack. With a total power of 11000.
Garga: Now, what will he do?

Amaterasu: Impressive. You protected my buddy very well. You truly are worthy of the name "Radiant".
Ameno: Then perhaps you'll allow me to be Gwen's Buddy, ey?
Amaterasu: How many times must I say it? N. O.
Ameno: (Sigh) I'd better return to her hand cards. (Does So)
Gwen: Alright. It's my turn. Draw. Charge & Draw. Buddy Posses.
Amaterasu now possesses Gwen.
Amaterasu: Finally, I get to join in. No,w to get down to business. I call Electrobeast Emissary, Otora, to the left.
Otora: You need some new info? I'm the key.
Ion: Oh? A new monster.
Amaterasu: With her effect, I gain one gauge & draw a card. And I call Electrodeity of Wind, Amatsuhikone, to the right.
Amatsuhikone: A little wind won't hurt, would it?
Amaterasu: Amatsuhikone lets me pay 1 gauge and gives him a critical of 2 and double attack. And now, I activate my ability, I gain 8000 power & double attack.

Masato: Ehh?
Ameno appears once again.

Amaterasu: And now it's my turn. (Shoots Blasts)
Hit. 2 life left.
Amaterasu: Double attack.
Masato: Cast. Dragon Prudent. (Blocks the attack) You have no attacks left. I can win.
Amaterasu: Cast. Electrodeity Festival.
Masato: What?
Amaterasu: This allows me to attack a third time.
Masato: {shocked} Uh Oh!!!
Hou: Masato currently has 1 card left. I'm willing to bet it's King Agito.
Garga: Are you sure? It could be another defense spell.
Hou: I watched his fight for a while, but so far, the only defense spells he used were Undying Linkdragon Order and Dragon Prudent.
Garga: Oh.
Masato: (Grabs ahold of himself) Ergh...Well, Gwen. You're good.
Amaterasu: You fought valiantly, but today...(Jumps) I'm the victor. (Attacks)
Masato finally hits 0 life as he takes the attack with open arms. His flag is destroyed, and thus Gwen wins.
Ion: Game End. Winner. Gwen.
Garga: And she did it without taking damage.
Hou: (cheers) Nice, Gwen. That's Girl Power For Ya!!!
Masato: For Share. You beat me. I guess I have work to do to get stronger.
Gwen: (Chuckles) I sure did. Although I was only lucky.
Hou: Don't say that. It's all pure skill.
Gwen: Oh, shucks.
Garga: Pure skill, huh? (cross his arms) {proud} I can't help but agree.
Hou: (looks at him awkwardly) Huh?
Ameno: (Appears) Well, Gwen. What do you think of my fighting style?
Gwen: You certainly showed me you're a remarkable ally.
Ameno: I'm glad. Well, I made up my mind, even though I can't be Gwen's Buddy, I might as well be a good use by helping her out in her cafe.
Amaterasu: Are you just saying that to not get a rise out of me?

Amaterasu: Uh-huh, Sure.
Garga: Hou. Judging by the looks of things, even beginners have a chance of beating strong opponents. If you're going to face Ranma and win the playoffs, like Masato, you have some training to do.
Hou: I hear you. Well, that settles it. Who wants to play me next?
Masato: I can go again.
Gwen: Sure, why not?
Hou: Okay. I'll take you all on.
As the Camera pans into the shining sky, the story is about to end. Or is it? Meanwhile, at Daryl's House, Daryl is still examining the Lostrizer Card while sitting on a chair. He is feeling hesitant and worried as he looks at it.
Daryl: Cross...I'm sorry...
