He took me to one of the villages. The village was a charming, rustic haven nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside. There were thatched roof cottages adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery which seemed to lean in, as if sharing secrets. The air was filled with the sweet scent of freshly baked bread wafting from the local bakery and the sound of birdsong echoing through the trees.
"What are we doing here?" I asked puzzled.
"Since you're the Queen, it would be better to familiarize yourself with the area." He was right, this was better than staying at the palace alone.
We Explored the bustling market square, where locals sold handmade crafts, fresh produce, and artisanal goods.
We took a leisurely stroll along the winding village streams, where you could feed ducks and enjoy the serene surroundings, Visited village museum, which showcased the history and culture of the area through exhibits and interactive displays
The village offered a peaceful, idyllic atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and connection with nature and the local community.
The women kept glancing at Alexander, Swooned by him." Someone's popular among the ladies," I teased," I told you a face like this, is not easy to forget."
I did have to agree with him on that one. "And I can see the men giving you glances," he mocked " Too bad for them because am married," I whispered back. "Yeah too bad." He gave a faint smile.
It was getting dark and Alex went to get our carriage ready. As I stood there admiring the stars, I heard a whisper." Come to me..come..come" the voice said. I looked around but saw no one. The voice kept repeating the same words as if compelling me.
Me legs started moving, following the voice that was taking me to somewhere unknown. Then the whispers stopped infront of what looked to be an abondoned hut. There was something creepy about it.
My thoughts told me to turn back and get far away from this place as possible but my legs couldn't move.
Someone was calling me and I needed to know who it was. I peeped inside through the window but could not see anything. I slowly opened the door and then I finally saw her standing in the dark staring at me.
