"I had a feeling you'd be early." She said, handing me one of the cups.
"Thank you." I unlocked my office, and we went inside together. "He's coming to the meeting."
"I know." Lily put down her coffee. "You texted me last night, remember? At 2 in the morning?"

I pulled out my phone and scrolled back. There it was.
"God." I muttered. "I don't even remember sending that."
"You were in crisis." She sat on the chair. "So let's deal with this strategically. He can't just insert himself into your company; there are protocols…"
"He's my husband." I stopped her. "Legally, he has every right to take an interest in my business, especially after he's helping with the supplier situation."
"Which he created. This is manipulation. He created a problem so he could be the solution and gain access."
