Chapter 11 Na'er, Leng Yaozhu picked up the leak, and missed Yun Ming.
"Have I arrived in the human world?" the girl whispered to herself, a thought flickering through her violet eyes. Her long, silvery hair cascaded down her shoulders, revealing her fair calves. She looked as if she were a delicate sculpture of jade, exuding an air of transcendence and a touch of noble dignity.
"Is this the Shrek City that Di Tian mentioned as the continent's premier city? Humanity is truly developing rapidly."
The girl's gaze swept across the towering skyscrapers before her, finally settling on a shop on the street.
The shop boasted a logo depicting a small green monster, and at the bottom of the door plaque were small words: Shrek Academy's Jointly Branded Hand-Made Sausage.
"I never expected such a transformation to unfold. I even encountered a dimensional rift. So now I'm only half the Silver Dragon King, and my transformed spirit is... the Silver Dragon Spear."
"And my current name should be Na'er," the girl pondered, carefully taking in her current situation. On the back of her right hand, a silver-white spear mark appeared.
"Little boy, wandering the streets in the early hours of the morning, be careful of bad guys."
Just then, with the sound of crisp footsteps and a soft laugh from behind Na'er, a faint chuckle echoed.
"Hmm?"
Na'er turned around, taking in the person behind her, a hint of surprise flickered in her violet eyes.
She saw a tall, curvaceous figure, with long, dark red hair cascading down her face. Her skin was as white as mutton-fat jade, and her phoenix eyes shone with a crimson hue. Her features held a youthful elegance and a touch of mature grace, her face elegant yet cool.
She was dressed in a red robe embroidered with a golden phoenix, and under the high street lights, she was breathtakingly beautiful.
"Little girl, have you lost your parents? Where do you live?"
Seeing Na'er didn't answer, the woman slowly leaned over, looking her straight in the eye, and asked gently.
"Na'er has no parents... and no home..."
Na'er shook her head slightly, a hint of sadness crossing her pretty face as she spoke in a somewhat pitiful tone.
She had just arrived in the human world and didn't understand anything yet. Moreover, her strength had been temporarily sealed due to her transformation. The person before her was obviously of high status.
So, she, Na'er, decided to try to curry favor with him.
"Hmm, it's true that I have inherited the Silver Dragon King's extraordinary wisdom."
Seeing the graceful woman before her with a hint of surprise and hesitation, Na'er secretly praised her decision.
"The soul power emanating from this little girl is clearly level ten. Judging from her bone age, she's only six years old. And yet, she possesses an aura as powerful as mine. Is that a martial spirit?"
The woman's brows furrowed slightly as she gazed at the little girl before her, a flicker of surprise in her almond-shaped eyes. Her martial spirit was, after all, the pinnacle of the Celestial Phoenix. And she was none other than Leng Yaozhu, the current deputy tower master of the Spirit Transmission Pagoda and patriarch of the Phoenix Clan.
"Then why don't you come home with me? My aunt's house is quite large."
Leng Yaozhu reached out and stroked Na'er's little head, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as she spoke softly, though with a hint of a wolf abducting a lamb.
"If what this girl says is true, then I've truly encountered a genius,"
Leng Yaozhu thought to herself. Tonight, she'd been feeling a sense of spiritual blessing, unable to calm down and cultivate. At her current level of cultivation, it felt more like a premonition, so she was about to go downstairs to relax and then happened upon the girl.
"You're not a bad person, are you?"
Na'er asked cautiously.
What you can't get, you love more. Na'er couldn't just give it away for free; she had to increase her own weight.
"Hahaha, of course I'm not a bad person. Auntie is from the Spirit Pagoda. Now you can rest assured,"
Leng Yaozhu said with a smile.
Na'er's eyes lit up when she heard the name of the Spirit Pagoda. She was well aware of this behemoth in the human world.
"Gu Yue, just stay in the corner of the Star Dou Great Forest. Na'er, I will definitely save the soul beast clan before you do," Na'er hummed inwardly. Then, with a look of great decision on her pretty face, she offered her small hand to Leng Yaozhu.
"Good girl, Na'er, let's go."
Leng Yaozhu took Na'er's hand, preparing to take her home.
"What should I call you?"
Na'er asked hesitantly.
"Auntie's name is Leng Yaozhu, you can just call me Aunt Leng."
Leng Yaozhu smiled, a flame burning beneath her icy exterior, as bright as the sun and as cold as ice.
"Hello, Sister Leng,"
Na'er said crisply.
Leng Yaozhu didn't say anything, but the corners of her mouth couldn't help but curl up, and she held Na'er's hand tightly.
Under the soft light, two figures, one large and one small, slowly stretched out and disappeared around the corner of the street...
Shortly after they left, a stern young man and a gentle-looking woman arrived.
"Brother Ming, you're out for a walk so late, is there something on your mind?"
The woman asked gently.
"I sensed a chance earlier, but it's gone now. Perhaps I was mistaken," the stern young man shook his head slightly, then looked at the woman beside him and said apologetically.
"Ya Li, you're still here with me this late. It's really..."
"As long as I can be with you, Brother Ming, none of this matters. Besides, it's nice to be out for a walk,"
Ya Li said softly, holding Yun Ming's strong arm .
...
"Disciple, wake up! You can't sleep this long at your age anymore."
Outside Shrek City, a dark red mecha descended. Mu Ye slid Jiang Xiu out of it and immediately started it up.
Shrek City had a no-fly zone, so they had to walk to the Spirit Pagoda headquarters.
"Master, I was exhausted last night. I'll definitely get up early next time."
Jiang Xiu, bleary-eyed, stretched his muscles beside the mecha. His eyebrows raised slightly when he saw Shrek City before him.
Shrek City was surrounded by a towering metal wall, gleaming in the early morning light. Around it stood patrol teams, all bearing the Shrek Academy insignia—Shrek's own garrison.
"It's okay. After you obtain the soul today, I will teach you the unique meditation method of our Body Sect. Let practice replace sleep, squeeze yourself... make use of your own time."
Muye raised his hand to put away the mecha behind him, waved his hand and said, then led Jiang Xiu to Shrek City, talking as he walked.
"How about it, this Shrek City is magnificent, it is known as the safest city in the entire continent. Among the four major forces on the continent, except for the Temple of War God, the headquarters of the other three forces are here. After our Body Sect returns as a king, we will also build a headquarters here."
"Safe? Master, we don't build headquarters here."
Jiang Xiu heard this and waved his hand hurriedly.
"Why, disciple, do you feel it's unsafe here? Is there going to be a big explosion here?"
Muye said jokingly as he walked Jiang Xiu into Shrek City.
Hearing this, Jiang Xiu paused and looked at Muye in disbelief.
Could it be that his master is also a prophet?
