Chapter 4 - My Wife, How Wonderful!

A silent alleyway.

Quake aimed her pistol at Alan Folker, her expression slightly puzzled. Seeing his terrified look, she gradually lowered her guard. Besides Alan Folker's apparent fear, his handsome appearance also played a part, making it impossible to associate him with killing.

"I've found an abnormal creature here. Requesting backup." Quake crouched down, examined the body on the ground, then put away her pistol and reported to Coulson.

She finished speaking, stood up, walked over to Alan Folker, and smiled, "It's alright now. I'll arrange for you to go to the hospital for a check-up later."

"Thank you. My name is Alan Folker. I'm a teacher at Mid-City High School. I always take this path, but I don't know why something like this happened today," Alan Folker said with a trembling voice, still showing a very scared expression.

"I hope you can keep this a secret. We will handle this matter. I am Senior Agent Daisy of S.H.I.E.L.D. You may need to cooperate with our investigation," Quake said in a gentle tone but with a very serious expression.

Alan Folker sat on the ground, playing his part fully, breathing heavily. His face seemed to gradually turn pale, showing signs of oxygen deprivation.

Seeing this, Daisy quickly walked over and asked, "Are you alright?"

"I... I can't breathe," Alan Folker said, clutching his chest with a suffocated expression.

"Wait a moment, the ambulance will be here soon. Take deep breaths now, adjust your emotions, and don't be too nervous." Daisy was clearly experienced in handling such situations.

"I might be too nervous!" Alan Folker said in a low voice, looking extremely weak and having difficulty breathing.

Daisy's expression furrowed slightly. She quickly walked up and helped Alan Folker, patiently checking his condition.

Just then, several cars stopped at the intersection.

Coulson and Melinda hurried over. Inside the alley, there were dozens of bodies of unknown creatures, and besides that, Alan Folker was lying in Daisy's arms.

Alan Folker had an elegant appearance, and his words and actions were very much like a scholar. Now he was showing a very nervous expression.

Coulson walked over, glanced at Alan Folker's state, and asked, "Has an ambulance been called?"

"It's been arranged, but he seems to be in a lot of pain right now!" Daisy helped Alan Folker up, leaning him against her shoulder, then stroked his chest, worriedly.

"Well, perhaps I should give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation." Coulson glanced at Alan Folker, his expression troubled.

Upon hearing this, Alan Folker's feeling of suffocation gradually subsided. A few seconds later, the expression of difficulty breathing was gone.

"Is he a witness?" Coulson looked at Alan Folker and asked Daisy.

Daisy stood up and reported the situation, saying, "Yes, he might have witnessed the entire process. Currently, he says he saw the bodies fall from above right in front of him."

Coulson walked towards Alan Folker and said kindly, "I am Senior Agent Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. Is it convenient to talk for a few minutes?"

Alan Folker leaned against the wall, looking very weak, shook his head, and replied, "I think I need to go to the hospital."

Coulson nodded upon hearing this. "Okay, I hope you'll wait for us at the hospital."

He finished speaking, revealing an aunt-like smile. The ambulance paramedics hurried over and carried Alan Folker out.

Coulson looked around. Besides the lack of strong signs of a struggle, the creatures looked strange, like some kind of alien species.

But such a battle also seemed like an internal conflict.

At the same time, Alan Folker followed the ambulance to the hospital, underwent some simple examinations, and then quickly left and returned to his apartment.

Hela had just brought out the stewed soup. Seeing Alan Folker return, she immediately smiled and went to greet him, then kissed him on the cheek and took the briefcase from his hand.

Alan Folker took off his trench coat and walked to the dining table. Fortunately, he was fast enough, otherwise, this meal would have gotten cold.

"Hela, how are you today? Are you still vomiting?"

He picked up a bowl, served Hela a bowl of soup, and asked gently.

"The reaction isn't as strong, but it's still quite uncomfortable. I just ran into Mei and chatted about parenting experiences," Hela replied with a gentle smile.

"That's good!" Alan Folker smiled with relief, then drank a bowl of tofu soup. "This tofu soup is really delicious!"

Regarding food, Alan Folker also gradually adapted to Aizen's diet, liking tofu and disliking eggs. So, there was tofu at every meal, but no egg dishes at all.

"Recently, it seems a meteorite was discovered in the suburbs. It feels very strange."

Hela recalled the scene she had just seen on TV, showing a curious expression. To her, it was indeed surprising because she hadn't seen such powerful energy fluctuations in a long time.

Alan Folker remembered that he hadn't turned off the TV when he left, so even if Hela hadn't seen the images, she would have heard something from the reporter's mouth.

"It seems the meteorite created a huge crater, but the meteorite itself wasn't seen. Not only that, a very strong energy, similar to a magnetic field, formed in the crater, causing any objects to float."

"But the most terrifying thing is that the floating objects seemed to be torn apart by some force, turning into fragments."

Alan Folker didn't intend to hide anything from Hela. After all, he also thought Hela was just an ordinary person, and it was normal for her to be curious about these things. Moreover, with S.H.I.E.L.D. now in charge, he didn't need to get involved.

Now, as long as he completed his portrayal progress to 100%, he could activate the next role. Power, to him, was very important.

Hela's expression remained calm, and she elegantly enjoyed her lunch.

Alan Folker's gaze observed Hela. Seeing her completely without any reaction, the idea that Hela was the Goddess of Death was instantly extinguished in that moment.

If she were the Goddess of Death Hela, with her personality, she probably wouldn't be sitting here so calmly eating with him right now.

Alan Folker smiled gently and sighed, "Wife, it's really delicious!"

Hela smiled brightly, her face showing a satisfied expression. Perhaps this peaceful life was the life she yearned for most. As for the Asgardian God-King, they could all go to hell.

And she hoped even more that Odin would not interfere with their lives.

"Yes, wife, it's really delicious!" Alan Folker repeated again. His eyes involuntarily became a little off. Looking at Hela's beautiful face and hot figure, his body unconsciously moved closer.

Seeing this, Hela let out a shy sound, picked up something, and blocked Alan Folker's mouth, saying, "Finish your food first, then you can eat me!"

"But I only want to devour you right now!" Alan Folker said with a mischievous smile, picking up Hela in one swift motion, not even giving her a chance to struggle.
