Chapter 12 - S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Claws

The next day, morning.

Hela, as usual, wasn't one to sleep in; even if she was active late at night, she'd still be full of energy the next day.

Alan Folker always found this very strange—her recovery ability was too strong—but over time, he got used to it, so he also increased their frequency.

"Bang!"

Outside, the sound of a door closing.

Alan Folker woke up from his sleep in a daze, looked beside him, and Hela was already gone.

Did she go out after he heard the door open and close?

He called out a few times but received no response; she must have gone out.

However, after becoming pregnant, Hela herself became very cautious, only occasionally going for walks with Alan Folker in the evening, and staying home all day.

Even for groceries, Alan Folker would bring the ingredients home.

Although Alan Folker was somewhat curious, he did not restrict Hela's freedom, as women during pregnancy, during their period, and in their usual state all behave differently.

If he controlled her too tightly, and she developed prenatal depression, it would be a loss rather than a gain.

"This World is truly too unstable; the events of the past few days are things that even ordinary people cannot avoid."

He thought of this and couldn't help but fall into contemplation.

"System, open the character panel!"

"Host: Alan Folker"

"Role Played: Grim Reaper Aizen"

"Progression: 45%"

"Talent: Absolute Wisdom"

"Kidō: Raihō!"

"Power: Shikai, Bankai"

"Spiritual Pressure: Level Six"

His current power wasn't weak; after all, he had already gained Bankai's power, and his Spiritual Pressure had reached level six.

For Aizen's power, this was almost a mid-tier level of strength.

But Aizen's most terrifying aspect was his ability to use the Hōgyoku, which was the strongest power.

As for the people he had encountered so far, first was Spider-Man, whose current power wasn't strong, but his overall abilities were good.

Next was S.H.I.E.L.D., with Coulson, Melinda, Daisy, and Natasha; their powers varied, but their strength wasn't as insurmountable or abnormal.

Then there were the mysterious creatures; the ones he had encountered didn't seem very strong, but that didn't mean they were weak, as he didn't know much about his enemies.

And in the darkness, there was another person: the Kingpin, the underground emperor.

He had killed Diana; if she was truly colluding with Kingpin, things wouldn't be so simple.

Alan Folker leaned against the headboard, thought for a while, then got up to wash.

Peter Parker walked out of the apartment at the same time, and the two happened to run into each other.

"Hi, Teacher Alan, good morning!" Peter Parker greeted him warmly.

They had been neighbors for years, and now with a shared secret, their relationship had deepened.

"Peter, how are you feeling now? Have you recovered?" Alan Folker asked curiously.

Last night, he was practically falling apart, and now, after just one night, he's full of life?

It had to be said, Spider-Man's healing ability was quite strong.

Peter Parker moved his arm, feeling where he was injured yesterday, and replied, "I feel almost completely recovered."

"That's good. Want to grab breakfast together?" Alan Folker invited with a smile.

"I have things to do, you know!" Peter Parker shook his head, held up his school bag, flashed a brilliant smile, and then ran off into the distance.

Peter Parker quickly ran off into the distance, disappearing from sight, then a strand of web adhered to the wall, and the red figure swiftly moved, vanishing between the tall buildings.

"Right, it's a brand new day."

Alan Folker walked slowly down the street, step by step, his posture, words, and gestures identical to Aizen's.

However, since it was an act, there was a certain degree of resemblance, and this had reached 100%, meaning that for simple acting, his progression was almost complete.

But it was only 45%, so he needed to act even more similarly to increase his progression.

"Aizen seems to invent things, and this appearance of mine is often inconvenient, so this is also a direction for acting."

Alan Folker thought for a few seconds and realized, just like Spider-Man wears a Spider-Man suit, he might as well invent a Hollow mask.

Thinking of this, Alan Folker had a bold idea: Aizen's inventive power was strong, and things invented under Absolute Wisdom would be even stronger.

Now that the Marvel forces were so powerful, he seemed a bit weak alone; he might as well slowly develop his own forces.

Alan Folker believed that no matter how strong the crisis in the Marvel Universe was, it could always be resolved, and he was merely playing a role.

The power within Aizen alone could be developed infinitely, let alone other things.

He smiled slightly, his gaze falling on Daisy hiding in the shadows.

S.H.I.E.L.D. indeed hadn't given up on monitoring him, but it didn't matter; as long as it didn't affect him, they could observe for as long as they wanted.

He bought breakfast and slowly walked down the street, just like a regular office worker, without any abnormalities.

Daisy followed closely, monitoring Alan Folker's every move.

Because of last night's events, she was still upset, so she absolutely could not lose sight of the target again.

Midtown School of Science and Technology, inside the school.

Alan Folker had just finished class and was walking to the office, observing the brightly dressed female students along the way.

He had to admit, these students were truly too precocious.

Suddenly, a middle-aged man, extremely conspicuous in the crowd, appeared directly in front of him, completely out of place among the students.

He wore a suit, and his shiny leather shoes seemed a bit greasy under the sunlight.

"Sure enough, I can't escape S.H.I.E.L.D.'s clutches."

Alan Folker knew that after Diana's tragic death last night, S.H.I.E.L.D. would definitely come looking for him again, especially since Daisy's target had disappeared, and events had occurred precisely when she vanished.

Coulson walked alone from a distance, and the moment he saw Alan Folker, his stern expression changed, revealing a friendly smile.

Alan Folker stopped, also showing a very gentle smile.

"Hello, Mr. Alan Folker, I didn't expect us to meet again." Coulson quickly approached Alan Folker and greeted him.

"It's quite unexpected. If you were a woman, I'd think you were here to ask me out on a date." Alan Folker replied with a calm smile.

Upon hearing this, Coulson's face remained expressionless, and he continued, "I wonder if now is a good time for us to chat for a bit? The coffee shop near the school has a very nice atmosphere."

"Of course, if Senior Agent Coulson wants to chat with me, I have to give him that much respect." Alan Folker stepped aside, gesturing for Coulson to lead the way.

Coulson nodded and replied, "Thank you!"

He finished speaking, walked to one side, and led Alan Folker away from the school.
