The schoolyard was quiet in the afternoon sun.
Ryo sat alone on the bench, his thoughts drifting back to the days of his childhood.

Kazuya's glare burned into Ryo, hatred twisting his features. Slowly, a cold smile spread across his face.

With that, he turned sharply and walked away, his shadow stretching long behind him.
Eris grabbed Ryo's arm, her voice trembling.
"Ryo… who is he really? What's his story?"
Ryo turned his face aside, the weight of old scars heavy in his eyes.
