Chapter 13 - Information, Clams, Cafe

But for Nen users, it was what was required for Nen related topics.

Roman wasn't a fool, if he wanted anything related to Nen from a hunter. This money would be drained fast.

Though there were still a few more meetings left to go.

Roman stuck around but nobody came, so he was left to wait till next week.

Somewhere else in the world a little blonde girl all dressed up with two pig tails could be seen frowning.

This was Biscuit Kruger, she didn't have many enemies, it wasn't like her. But she was cautious, she was the one who had posted for information about herself.

It was a common tactic for experienced hunters with deep pockets.

Biscuit didn't want people knowing about her secret form, her normal, original form.

So she, like many others, made a post requesting information about themselves. Listing it higher than anybody else could, to discourage others from making posts about her.

Not to mention, to get the information first and figure out how it leaked as fast as possible.

But for Biscuit, nothing had occurred recently for this kind of in-depth information to leak.

She was puzzled how this information was leaked, but she knew all the people who could possibly know this information.

This was the reason for her frown, they were all close friends too loyal to betray her or too rich to need the money to sell out her information.

But again, Biscuit was cautious. She wouldn't right off anything, so she planned to make a trip to all these people. Planning to investigate, to see if anybody was acting strange or irregular.

Or if someone close to them was suspicious, after all strange abilities existed that could find this information.

But it most likely required something or someone close to her to be able to focus in on her information to such detail.

For Biscuit it was time for her to hunt. To hunt something she wasn't used to hunting. It gave her a weird feeling, but it was unknown if Biscuit could uncover the truth.

And if she did would she understand the implications. Would she find out about the existence of transmigrators? Roman? Or someone who knew this information but didn't sell it? Perhaps someone else would sell the information soon.

Biscuit wasn't one to give up easily.

Meanwhile Roman got back home and Menchi began to pester him about the experience.

But how could he tell her everything he knew, so he lied through his teeth until she calmed down and seemed satisfied.

Continuing his daily routine of training, chores and school. A rhythm he vowed to break soon now that he had information on many possible adventures.

But there was still some time, time that was running thin as Roman reappeared a week later in the library, in the hunters tavern once again.

Waiting for a potential customer, this was the big money maker deal.

Though thankfully Roman didn't need to wait another week, for a figure appeared at his table.

"What do you know about the Zolydic family." The figure didn't seem to be asking but demanding.

"I know many things but do you have the money?" Roman asked with a hidden smile.

"Prove your worth, tell me something pointless that nobody else would know." The figure was firm.

Hearing this Roman frowned and thought for a moment.

"How are you going to verify my words then?" Roman asked.

"I have my methods, they are none of your business." The figure spoke.

"Fine, the family head's wife should be pregnant or has already given birth to a talented child named Killua." Roman spoke, as if the information was pointless.

In truth it was all he could come up with at the moment. There were probably much better, less revealing things he could say.

But after a moment the figure stood up and disappeared, taking much longer than the last figure he interacted with.

But when the figure returned he didn't speak. So Roman stood up to check his balance, and it had increased.

So he returned to his seat, where the figure was silent again.

Roman smiled, "I know a lot and I don't know how much you can buy, so I'll start with the children."

"The next is untalented as an assassin, an outcast, only interested in computers. Named Milluki." Roman paused, waiting for the figure to move.

And he did eventually, always taking a few minutes to return. Much longer than required, no doubt communicating with other people and discussing what to do.

Upon returning, Roman rinsed and repeated checking his balance. This continued with Roman revealing information about Illumi next, then Kikyo, Silva and Zeno.

The rest of the family wasn't born yet, only now Killua. As for Maha Zolydic, the old monster of the family? Roman didn't know much and thought it might be better to not think of him for the time being.

The figure even had money to ask about notable Nen user servants and how things operated internally.

Roman didn't know too much about these things, but he knew enough for an extra transaction.

Roman didn't know who he was dealing with or their intentions, but he was curious.

Though after thinking he couldn't deny the possibility that he might be speaking to someone a part of the Zoldydic family.

Such a thing would be interesting, but if he knew the truth he would be shocked.

On the other end of the table was someone he would no doubt recognize.

It was a hunter association Zodiac, the dragon, the oldest and possibly strongest Zodiac. Said to be a sparing partner of the hunter associations chairman, a triple star terrorist hunter.

But what would surprise him even more was who he was talking to after each transaction.

Another Zodiac, newer and younger. With a charismatic attitude, shiny and sparkly demeanor. It was Pariston Hill the rat Zodiac, the rival of the enigmatic Ging Freecss.

Roman would no doubt be interested in what was going on there.

He would question whether the two were working together or if Pariston was just playing the dragon Zodiac.

But unfortunately he may never know. So by the end of the last transaction, Roman was left ten times richer.

With over a trillion Jenni, or ten billion dollars back on earth.

Roman was swimming in money, secretly wondering if any of his peers were as rich.

But having this much money made him think. The universal journey of a transmigrator in all hunter fanfics brought the protagonist to heaven's area.

A place where someone can get strong and rich at the same time. Roman still wanted to visit it, because while he was strong he didn't have much fighting experience.

He didn't need the money, but there was another concern for the universal journey.

His face would become public, his fights studied and some of his abilities would be revealed.

This was a deal breaker, though Roman wasn't against the idea of visiting to spectate or perhaps sparing a floor master privately.

For now he would keep an eye on heavens area, watching for any of his peers' appearance.

So far he had kept tabs on the arena with the family's TV, but nobody appeared on his radar, except for two people.

One was Illumi Zolydic a few years ago. A family training tradition, to not only allow their descendants to learn to fight other people. But to also learn about the real world.

The second was a kid, Romans age, who started climbing the tower before Illumi and still was now challenging floor masters.

This kid was definitely born in the city, and definitely a peer of Romans.

Roman had thoroughly studied the person and knew all about his abilities.

Going by the name, Enel. Enel had a space ability. Roman believed he was an enhancer, because he would both transmute and emit his aura to have space-like properties.

Teleporting to emitted space-Nen, and cutting people down with space enhanced and transmuted daggers.

It was a little terrifying, remaining Roman of the Green clams.

Enel and the green Clams both had a power that seemed unstoppable and all powerful.

But Roman wasn't fully sure, he doubted such a power. There should always be a weakness and limit to every power.

Roman for one could walk through solid matter, but he would still be affected by soul attacks and mind attacks.

As for why Roman didn't abuse this power with his previous adventure? Roman wanted to understand and feel the challenge of the adventure.

He didn't wish to use his power until absolutely necessary, he didn't want to become overly reliant on them.

After all, abilities that could suppress or cancel other abilities could certainly exist, Roman wanted to be prepared for all situations.

Though with the information he had, already sold. Roman would have to wait for the future to sell more. Like things about the phantom troop, Kurta clan, nostrade family, kakin empire, chimera ants, ging freeces, the future Zolydic children, and maybe even his peers.

Roman had a lot of things to sell, but for now there was only one thing on his radar to buy.

That was Greed island, with Killua and Gon being born this year, greed island would soon follow.

Unfortunately there was no way to obtain a copy, memory card and ring.

Ging had opened presale not too long ago, with only a hundred copies. But thousands of willing customers, Roman didn't have a good chance at obtaining a copy.

So he went to the library and hunter tavern to make a post of his own. Roman didn't know how good his odds were, but it was the best place to start.

Though quickly came the time off meeting for the yellow and red shells. Roman didn't need the money, but he wanted the experience.

He needed to know how these things would go.

Finding a cafe on the other side of town, Roman found a seat and ordered food.
