The next day.
Lucas took the three combat teams to the F-rank gate.
The goblins all respawned within 24 hours.
When they got into the gate they split into their respective teams and moved in different directions.
Lucas first followed team 1 with Hugo as the captain.
He would observe them for a while and then move on to another team.
With Ruben in team 1 it was easy finding goblins.
Fighting goblins was also easy for everyone since they all had stats comparable to a E-rank monster or above, plus many skills.
Lucas still wanted them to fight goblins first.
First, because they could build rapport with their teammates and second, to see how well they fight against a large group of monsters.
For a while it was only small groups so they didn't need any strategy and just one of them was enough to kill them.
Soon they faced a group of over 20 goblins.
Everyone stayed composed and Hugo told them not to underestimate them since they have the numbers and are sneaky.
With Hugo at the front, Ruben right behind him and Kristian and Roberto to the sides, they fought against the goblins.
By now Ruben had already learned a few attack spells and also some support spells.
Thanks to that the others had an easier time.
Kristian drifted off from the group once, but when he got scratched by a goblin, Hugo yelled at him to get back into formation.
After that everything went smoothly and they quickly finished them off.
Even though it should have been easy for them with their superior stats and useful skills, it was still draining to face so many goblins.
They also had to get used to having teammates beside them and learning to trust them to have their back.
'Even though they only have 4 members, I'm not worried with Hugo as the captain.'
Ruben spoke up.
"There is a larger group up ahead. I count more than 40."
Lucas then spoke.
"This will be the real test for your team. I'm leaving now to observe the other teams. You will only have eachother to rely on so don't let your guards down."
Ruben and Kristian looked nervous while Roberto had a very serious expression.
Hugo was calm and took a deep breath before speaking.
"Thank you for trusting us sir. We will prevail by all means."
Lucas smiled and nodded before leaving.
Team 1 turned and walked towards the large goblin group.
Meanwhile similar things were happening with the other teams.
Lucas decided to watch them from afar without being noticed.
'If they see me they might become too relaxed and think I will save them. I need them to face real danger as a team.'
Teams 2 and 3 quickly managed to eliminate a group of over 20 goblins and moved on to a large group of almost 50 goblins.
After almost an hour all teams managed to win against the large goblin groups.
Lucas observed them all at different times and at the end he was satisfied.
'Although there were some mistakes and minor injuries, they all did well. They all worked well together and listened to their captains.'
After a break to catch their breaths they met up in the middle of the gate.
When they arrived in front of Lucas, he could see that they had gotten closer.
The three teams stood before Lucas and greeted him.
Lucas spoke.
"I observed you all and you all did very well for your first time as a team."
"Thank you sir."
"Thanks."
"Thank you guild master!"
.
.
.
Lucas smiled and spoke up again.
"There are still almost a hundred goblins left near the gate core at the end of the gate."
"This time all teams will work together to eliminate them all."
All guild members looked prepared and it showed in their eyes.
Of course there were still some who were nervous despite that, but it wasn't bad.
Once they got there and faced of the large group of goblins they all showed how capable they were both individually and collectively.
After less than 30 minutes off fighting, every goblin was dead.
'Excellent.'
'Now I know for sure that they are all useful.'
'I really am lucky to have Odin's Eye as a unique ability.'
A lot of them cheered and smiled.
They all had a sense of accomplishment.
A few of them also leveled up.
Ruben reached level 12.
Kristian reached level 11.
Vanessa reached level 13.
Bryan reached level 11.
Marco Rossi reached level 11.
James reached level 11.
That was impressive for only killing goblins.
They were all already close to leveling up and they killed a lot of goblins.
Plus they didn't have to share experience like Lucas.
After their excitement settled down and they could catch their breaths, Lucas gave a command.
"Alright, I want everyone to split up and start collecting materials."
Lucas handed over a piece of paper to everyone with information on the materials that the association already discovered.

After the combat teams left the gates, they were free to do what they wanted the rest of the day.
Some headed home and some decided to go to the guild to train.
Lucas also went to the guild after sending off Krasbert and Elara to their E-rank gate.
Albert was already at the smithy since early morning, putting his upgraded skills to the test.
William was at the lab making potions since morning as well.
He had finally finished a few potions after he had all the necessary ingredients.
Grishna was always by Lucas his side and when they arrived in his office, he summoned Ghost.
"Ghost, I want you to scout the city Affoltern under Zurich. Their population is much smaller and they had even more gates appear than us."
"Understood master."
Ghost left immediately.
'Once I have knowledge on their situation and our combat teams are ready I plan to head to Affoltern to hunt the monsters there with the Helios guild members.'
