Chapter 35 - Moving House

Desy knew very well how much David loved his late sister, and David would only allow someone he truly trusted and cared for to be this close. The sight of David and Rey both seeking comfort in Liana was a strange yet heartwarming sight for Desy.

"That boy... truly has found his place. He's so stubborn for having to pretend," Desy thought.

Desy turned back around. She decided not to disturb them. Let David enjoy that rare and intimate moment, even though she knew David would pretend nothing happened when they woke up later.

The bus slowly stopped, and the noise of employees waking up and tidying their belongings made the atmosphere loud. David woke up because of the noise; he immediately lifted his head from Liana shoulder.

"You're awake, Sir," Liana said. She slowly moved her numb arm.

"I apologize, I didn't expect to fall asleep until we arrived here," David expressed, his face a little awkward.
