Chapter 32 - Ch30- Waifu Escaped

"Envoy of the beginning attacks directly!"

[Ryoken Wins!]

"Lava Golem's effect activates, you take 1000 points of damage!"

[Ryoken Wins!]

"I activate Red-eye Dragoons effect to destroy your monsters, then you take damage equal to their attack points!"

[Ryoken Wins!]

"Borrelod Chaos Furious Dragon attacks your monster!"

[Ryoken Wins!]

"Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation attacks directly, end this duel!"

[Ryoken Wins!]

"Masked Hero Dark law..."

As Ryoken another duel, another duelist was left passed out next to the pile of other duelists.

Ryoken was beating Blue dorm students left and right, and each time they thought they had a plan to counter his deck, he would just pull out a new one.

Onlookers, being students of Yellow and red dorm, could only watch with awe and fear as one by one duelists succumbed to Ryoken's power.

They feared that if they ran out of blue dorm students, he would go after them. So what they did was simple. They made banners and merchandise for Ryoken, becoming his fanboys.

Afterall if you didn't want to be beaten by someone, you simply had to join their side. As easy as it sounds. Heck some of them even offered him a towel and water bottle after each duel, much to the blue dorm students demise.

The teachers and instructors did want to interfere and stop him, but Crowler had acted before them and denied them any opportunity to do so.

By his own words, if they did plan to interfere, what could they even do? None of the teachers were confident enough to beat Ryoken in a duel.

Even the instructor that was humiliated by Ryoken during the entrance exam had joined his fan club and was supporting him.

He had experienced Ryoken's dueling firsthand, so he knew better than anyone to not get on his bad side.

Basically in a single day the academy was split into two groups. One that was Ryoken's fanclub, and the other that was Ryoken's victims.

"You're not going to stop him?" Alexis asked Zane, as she was watching the duels with interest.

"Why should I stop him? He's having fun." Zane replied, as he put his deck in his duel disk.

"Hmm? You're going to duel him?"

Zane gave her a look that said are you serious?

"No. I wouldn't interfere with whatever he's doing. I'm going to duel the instructors."

Basically since Ryoken was having fun crushing noobs, Zane wanted to do it too, with professional noobs that is.

After the rematch with Ryoken he realised that he was really limiting himself by respecting his opponents. Winning was the important thing in a duel.

So what if you show your opponent respect and just fight them with raw power? It didn't matter if he was going to lose to someone.

And who said you couldn't have fun or respect your opponent by winning? You just needed to crush them completely to show them that you were respecting them by going all out.

As Zane approached the instructors, Alexis couldn't help but feel bad for them. Sure Zane had lost to Ryoken, but we're talking about Ryoken.

If there was a title like king of games, Ryoken would surely have been the owner of it since no one seemed to be able to get a win against him.

"You've been watching me for a long time, what are you, a stalker?" Ryoken called out to her, making her point to herself.

"You're talking with me?"

"Donno, do you see any one else that is still standing and talking with me?" He replied, the sarcasm evident in his tone.

"I wasn't stalking you... I was just watching your duel that's it."

"I've been dueling all day and you have seen them all without making any contact. I'm sure you fall under the stalker category."

Alexis now understood why duelists suffered both mentally and physically against Ryoken. He was slowly getting on her nerves.

"I told you I'm not a stalker!"

The way Ryoken kept calling her stalker made her twitch as if he was doing it on purpose.

Seeing that he got a reaction out of her, Ryoken chuckled briefly "Take it easy Lexi. I'm just messing with you."

"Lexi?"

"Yeah a nickname I picked for you."

She stared at him, a halo of a boy with brown hair appearing in front of her, his face blurred.

She felt a headache and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath before opening them again, only to see Ryoken there.

"Are you alright lexi?" He asked, noticing her discomfort.

"Yeah I'm fine... I was going to ask you to duel with me, but I think I'll head to my room and rest a bit."

As Alexis left, Ryoken went back to dueling whoever was left of the blue dorm.

Meanwhile Akaba was watching him closely through surveillance cameras, his eyes narrowed as he saw how effortlessly Ryoken was beating the students.

Where these students really going to be his future soldiers? absolutely not. At least not with the decks they were using.

He then saw Crowler in the crowd watching the duel, an idea coming to his mind.

"I should talk to Doktor to make a new support cards for Ancient Gear archetype."

If he mass produced this deck and gave it to the students of the blue dorm, then surely they could even defeat Ryoken if they came in masses.

Just then he received a call from Doktor. The timing was perfect, guess he could ask him to make the deck now.

"Good timing. I had a new task for you, Doktor."

"As much as I would like to work on the task sir, unfortunately one of the test subjects of project Quattro has escaped."

"What do you mean escaped? didn't you say they were completely unconscious in the tubes you were holding them?" Akaba asked, his tone coming off harsh.

"That was true indeed, but it seems like I underestimated their power."

"Explain." He ordered, which Doktor obliged.

"Test Subject Black Rose's psychic powers kicked up stronger than I had anticipated and shattered the glass of the tube she was confined in."

Hearing the explanation, Akaba sighed as he rubbed his temple.

"And you didn't stop her?"

"I tried... but this is what happened..." The Doktor sent an image, in it it showed his battered and bloodied hand.

"How did this even happen!?"

"I tried to stop her by sending one of the parasites I had created, but suddenly a red dragon appeared and hit me."

Akaba leaned back into his chair, thinking how had things gone astray like this.

"Thankfully only I was hurt, no damage was done to other test subjects or my lab." The Doktor said with an amused smile "I'll strengthen the tubes and the dosage of the drugs to keep the rest of the subjects unconscious."

"Good. In the meantime I'll send a few students to catch her. Also, work on some cards for Ancient Gear archetype."

"With pleasure sir."

As he ended the call, Akaba wondered who he should send after the test subject who had ran away.

If she was as strong as the Doktor had said, then he had to send someone with same level as her, and for that he had a few options.

He called Crowler and told him to tell Ryoken to come and meet him in his office.

This would prove to be a good test for him to see if Ryoken was worthy of being his strongest soldier or not.

And that's it for this chapter. How was it? Did you guys enjoy it?

I was writing an original work, like I've been working on it for a few months and have stacked something like 30 chapters. Should I upload it? A fantasy novel with a main character that isn't reincarnated, Transmigrated or reborn. Breath of fresh air I suppose. Also no system.

Anyway see you guys on the next chapter, till then take care of yourselves. Bye
