# Chapter 25: First Arrival in the Standard Dimension

"She's not Ruri!"

The moment Yūga Hōzumi landed, he heard this sentence, and then he saw the following scene.

A certain purple-haired individual punched the sister-complex guy in the trench coat in the abdomen. The man looked at the purple-haired individual in disbelief before losing consciousness.

"Did I come at a bad time?" Yūga Hōzumi couldn't help but ask, seeing the purple-haired individual smoothly sling the man in the trench coat over his shoulder, preparing to flee.

"Who's there?" Yuto instinctively became wary but relaxed again after realizing it was Yūga Hōzumi.

"Yūga Hōzumi, why are you here?" Yuto asked.

"I'm here to bring you two back, of course. Let's go for now, this isn't the place to talk," Yūga Hōzumi said after surveying the surroundings.

This was a set of docks, and Yūga Hōzumi knew that these two had caused no small amount of trouble in the Standard Dimension. Moreover, judging by the hot girl next to them, she was already calling for backup. The area was surrounded by containers; if they were cornered, there would be no other escape than to jump into the ocean.

"You're right, this really isn't the place to talk." Yuto, carrying Shun, nodded. At the same time, he picked up a card from Yuzu Hiiragi's deck, which had scattered across the ground during Shun's earlier collision, and said to her, "Well then, farewell. Also, this card isn't suitable for you."

The card Yuto picked up was the key to the Fusion Summon that Yuzu was currently learning: Polymerization.

"What a shame. I don't like it when people criticize the gifts I give out," a light-blue-haired kid said sarcastically, licking a lollipop on the side.

"In that case, how about I show you just how powerful this card is?" the lollipop-licking kid challenged.

"Hey, Sora, don't do this!" Seeing the atmosphere grow increasingly tense, Yuzu couldn't help but stand between them and say.

"Hey, kid over there, how about you let me see for myself just how powerful this card is?" At this moment, Yūga Hōzumi looked at Sora Shiun'in and said, word for word.

"Hey, can't you two be more peaceful?" Yuzu said, dissatisfied, after hearing Yūga Hōzumi's words.

Yūga Hōzumi gave an enigmatic smile at her words, looking at Yuzu and saying, "Miss, I advise you not to get too involved with this guy. I can smell the stench of a Fusion Dog on him."

"Also, shouldn't you switch to a different Duel Disk before making a challenge? The Duel Disks in this dimension can't be used as weapons," Yūga Hōzumi said.

"What did you say? This guy is from the Academy?" Hearing Yūga Hōzumi's words, Yuto, who was about to leave, turned back to look at Sora.

"Big Brother, don't say strange things so casually. If you want to duel, I'll happily oblige," Sora said, his expression flickering.

"Yuzu!" Just as the two sides were at daggers drawn, a lively voice came from afar.

"Yuya?" Yuzu was about to greet him, but as Yuya ran closer, the bracelet on Yuzu's wrist glowed with a dazzling purple light.

"Holy crap! I haven't even gotten on board yet!" Yūga Hōzumi cursed under his breath, only to see Yuto, along with Shun, disappear from their spot within that purple light.

Then, looking at the Leo Duel School personnel who had followed that Tomato, Yūga Hōzumi decided to make a quick exit. His purpose in coming to the Standard Dimension this time was only to bring Yuto and Shun back and complete the first stage of the main quest early. He didn't want to play guessing games with Reiji Akaba, that chair-warming riddler.

"Well then, next time we meet, I'll turn you into a card, Fusion Dimension kid," Yūga Hōzumi said, taking a card from the deck case on his waist, slapping it onto his Duel Disk, and leaping towards the ocean.

"Hey! Are you their companion? Who exactly are you people? What's this about the Fusion Dimension and turning people into cards? Explain yourself!" Yuzu urgently shouted in the direction Yūga Hōzumi had left.

A golden light flashed beside Yūga Hōzumi; Hope materialized within this light, caught the falling Yūga Hōzumi on its shoulder, and with a flap of its wings, flew into the distance.

"He's not in an Action Field, so why does his monster have a physical form?" Yuya, who arrived late, asked in surprise, looking at Yūga Hōzumi's retreating back.

And behind everyone, Sora's face grew increasingly gloomy. The lollipop in his mouth had been bitten to pieces at some unknown point.

Yūga Hōzumi wandered through the city area of Maiami City, trying to find the whereabouts of the two comrades who had been teleported away, but Maiami City was so vast that finding two people was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

"Those Sakakis are my bane. Something bad always happens when I meet them," Yūga Hōzumi cursed under his breath.

"Speaking of which, wasn't Yuto supposed to be tracking Yuzu during this time?" Yūga Hōzumi suddenly remembered. "Anyway, I'll go to the Yusho Duel School first."

By the time Yūga Hōzumi arrived at the Yusho Duel School, it was already late at night. In an alley, Yūga Hōzumi spotted Yuto's furtive figure.

"Busy?" Yūga Hōzumi walked into the alley, his sudden voice startling Yuto.

"Who's there?" Yuto instinctively raised his Duel Disk. After recognizing Yūga Hōzumi's face, he sighed in relief, "It's you, Yūga Hōzumi."

"Where's Shun? Isn't he with you?" Yūga Hōzumi asked.

"He left after he woke up." At this, Yuto's expression became somewhat unnatural, and he pulled his mask up higher, seemingly trying to cover the bruises on his face.

"Did you two fight?" Yūga Hōzumi teased.

"No, nothing like that. By the way, why are you here?" Yuto quickly changed the subject.

"To take you two back, of course. Did you know? If Kaito and I hadn't provided timely support, the Black Spades would have been completely annihilated."

"What?" Yuto was shocked. "Didn't I tell Cheng to take the survivors to find you?"

"Do you really think he didn't want to? Not long after you left, the Black Spades' camp was surrounded," Yūga Hōzumi said.

Yuto fell silent for a moment, then struggled to raise his head and squeeze out two words: "Thank you."

"No need for thanks. Just help me find your brother-in-law and let's go back. We need your power now."

At the mention of "brother-in-law," Yuto's face flushed, and he immediately changed the subject. "How's the situation in Heartland City now?"

After Yūga Hōzumi informed Yuto of Heartland City's current situation, a rare smile appeared on Yuto's typically stoic face. "So, everyone has gathered? And we've achieved some victories?"

"That's right, so you two should hurry back with me. Yao is still lying in a hospital bed, and Kaito is under too much pressure defending alone."

"But… Ruri…" A look of struggle appeared on Yuto's face.

"Ruri is temporarily safe. Do you remember the girl from today who looked a lot like her?" Yūga Hōzumi said.

"You mean… Yuzu?"

"Besides her, in the other two dimensions, there's also a girl who looks similar to Ruri. Akaba Leo's plan is to collect all of them and fuse the four dimensions together. So, as long as we prevent him from capturing the others, Ruri will be safe."
