# Chapter 30: Melodious VS Phantom Knights (End)
The impact of the Break Sword's explosion forced Yuto back half a step, but his expression remained unchanged as the fragments of the skull knight in front of him transformed into two wisps of ghostly fire that slowly ascended.

Sound waves mixed with flower petals attacked again. The skeletal lancer raised its shield, blocking the attack in front of Yuto.

"I overlay the Level 4 Phantom Knights' Fragile Armor with the now Level 4 Phantom Knights' Silent Boots!"
A jet-black vortex appeared before Yuto. At the center of the vortex and on the back of Yuto's right hand, a crimson number 70 appeared simultaneously.
"Oh, great net woven from the sins of the world, clear the obstacles before me! Xyz Summon!"
"Rank 4! Number 70: Deadly Sin!"
Terrifying energy fluctuations emanated from the vortex. A strand of spider silk shot out, sticking to the railing of the bridge in the middle of the field. Then, following the silk, a monstrous spider emerged from the vortex.

Meanwhile, inside the arena's surveillance room, alarms blared frantically. On the field, Yuzu was startled by the terrifying monster. She quickly waved for Bloom Diva to come to her side, wanting to pick up an Action Card.
But Yuto didn't give her the chance. "I activate the effect of Number 70: Deadly Sin! Once per turn, I can detach one Xyz Material from this card to target one monster my opponent controls. That monster is banished until your opponent's next Standby Phase."
Just as Bloom Diva was about to reach Yuzu, Deadly Sin sent her to a different dimension with a single web.
"Battle! Phantom Knights' Crack Helm, direct attack!"
At Yuto's command, the small, ghost-fire-armored figure slowly floated in front of Yuzu and gently tapped her with a small wooden stick formed from its flames.
As for Deadly Sin, after sensing the energy contained within that monster, Yuto didn't dare let it clash with Yuzu, so he could only send out the other monster on his field.

"The winner of the opening match of the Maiami Championship has been decided! From the Leo Duel School—Yuto!" As the Announcer's voice boomed, the Solid Vision on the field dissipated. Yuto put away his Duel Disk and turned to walk towards the competitors' passageway.
