Actually yes they existed but it was about 3000 years ago . What we see today ( year 6021 ) is far more similar to year 2021 . Yeah future we imagine existed in year 3021 . But with growing time technology grew and so the greed of nations . Earth could not survive the heavy weight of selfishness and greed and thus formed one super continent Pangea again like when earth was born . THE BEGINNING OF END
The nations fought with each other in order to attain more power and thus lost it all . All the big cities and building collapsed and what remained was only the civilization left behind . Yes , only the people who were untouched of technology were left and everything else disappeared like never existed . Though things are far modern than 2000s but there is everything seemed to be cooled down now .

Let me tell you more about the time between year 2021 ~ 3021 . Then you will be able to relate. The pandemic Covid - 19 of time 2021 is considered one of the biggest pandemics spread in the history of mankind . The world shook that time only by a small organism who killed millions of people within few years . Something like that also spread again in the world after 100 years . This time people were ready cause they had technology . With help of tech they were able to defeat more deadly virus than covid 19 in just a year . This made technology and artificial intelligence such popular that it spread like fire in a forest of dry trees .
After that over 900 years people kept advancing themselves until they became blind . No , there eye sight was fine but there brain was not in urge to get more resources they became so blind that they were ready to start world war withing seconds . This was year 3020 when war started , to win they became so ruthless that humans forgot they were depleting earth's resources more faster than speed of light . The war ended in year 3035~36 but within these 6 years the tectonic plated of earth became so disturbed that they began to erupt and in transition with 2000 years they began to move . YES tectonic plates moved with a very high speed in context to earth . They clashed with each other and formed Pangea the great super continent again .
I think I am getting you bored lets move further in story . So by 5021, things calmed and the forgotten civilization began to prosper once gain . It was like reborn of humans . Maybe it was attempt of higher beings which caused war but anyways the things are cooled and peaceful .
during these 1000 years the human civilization grew again . from the leftovers they reached the position they were in 2000s and BOOM we are in 6000s.
They do not know how world looked like in past for them it is nothing they have forgotten everything . Only thing which survived from past is practices and religions . Yes, religion is a way to connect with the higher beings of type 7 civilization who are termed as "GODS" . Religion was still alive because it was a ray of hope of all humans through all these years .They practiced multiple religions but majorly some were left.
Gods are the beings who control the earth . They are above all humans and they protect everyone . But they are bounded by rules . These rules are so strict that if a god denies to follow them they are killed once and for all . They do not have heaven or hell or any other to come back to life . For them death is literal and true .
This was the story of earth . You must be thinking how do I know this much . This is because I am one of the GODS . But there is going to be a big problem and that is why I have returned to earth . The FINAL DAWN is coming and I have to stop it . I am breaking the rules and this will cost my life but for earth I am ready to fight with other beings . Ren Akatsuki a 17 year old high school boy who is in grade 12 by now . He is not some extraordinary guy or lucky enough to win a lottery but has a very great potential. If he tries he can achieve much higher in both academics and in sports but he does not seem to try for it .
A normal human isn't him but things are going to change for him completely .

This is Mikasa Akatsuki a cheerful and independent house wife . She is mother of two Ren and his small sister Haru Akatsuki a young and talented girl though she is only 12 but she loves to talk and read .
"Ren come quickly food is getting cold " This is Ren's father Daigo Akatsuki he is a office worker basically middle class man. He is protective and bit aggressive
we can relate very much with this family of four but they are very different because they are very advance in technology . Yeah they have a vast number of options when it comes to technology from toothbrush to house walls they are covered by high tech gadgets .
Ren quickly washes up and sits at the dining table. The aroma of freshly cooked food fills the air — simple, comforting, yet slightly futuristic gadgets hum softly in the background: self-heating plates, automatic beverage dispensers, and even a tiny AI assistant that hovers near the table, reminding him of his schedule.
Haru chattered endlessly about her school day, waving a small holo-book in front of Ren. "And then, sensei said I'm the fastest in my class at the coding challenge! You have to see my score!"
Ren smiled faintly, ruffling her hair. "That's great, Haru. Keep it up."
Daigo sipped his tea, keeping a watchful eye on Ren. "Don't slack off at school. You have potential, don't waste it."
Ren sighed, glancing at the holo-clock. Nothing seemed unusual… yet he couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen
