In the 34th dorm room within Logia Tower of the inspiring wizard. A young man with the childish features of a young adult, with tanned skin and long obsidian hair tied into a short ponytail, was staring off into a mirror, admiring himself.
'I suppose this wasn't just a nightmare, and I'm not within a walking death house disguised as a wizard tower.'
It had been only a couple of hours since he'd been shoved into this body. Not long ago, he was on his couch half-asleep watching a new series that had just come out. Next thing he knows, he's within a dark, gloomy room.
It wasn't long after he got hit with a headache that felt like someone hammering his head like a hot iron on an anvil. The memories he had gotten from the previous owner were that his name was now Lock, Lock Roll to be specific. 'I'm the third child of Viscount Tuck Roll and Ruby Roll, within the Viscount's territory of the southern Azure Kingdom, near a large lake.'
The original Lock had been taken to the Logia Tower, an institute that is a place for both official wizards to further their craft and aspirants to learn a craft. This place does seem like a magical place, and it is, but it's not without its… dark side. The aspiring wizards are labeled as candidates. If not able to become an Elementary Apprentice Wizard within a 12-month time period, they are thrown out and told to return. But unlike when brought here by someone, you have to return on your own.
Logia Tower is within the Blackhead Forest. Outside the forest are three kingdoms: the Tempest Kingdom, the Azure Kingdom, and the Golen Kingdom. Least to say, when you're thrown out of the tower for not meeting the deadline, your chance of returning home or to your native kingdom becomes nothing more than a delusion. A normal muggle would not survive the Blackhead Forest alone or even in a group. The things within there are horrors; the only reason they haven't raided the tower is due to the barriers.
He has been here for around 5 months (May). Lock himself is decently talented—not enough to make him shine amongst his peers but not so little as to be overshadowed by them.

'IT'S FINALLY ARRIVED!'
'It's been hours; I thought I would have to survive here myself.'

The system seemed like a proficiency system. It had the basics but no other functions. It helps one improve skills at a consistent and fast rate, allowing me to retain learned skills within its efficiency, not reducing even if I haven't used that specific skill in years. The information it shows seems to match with the tower's evaluation of me.
Lock seemed to have the Nature Affinity—it's rare, but not so rare to the point it's never seen. Within the whole tower of around a thousand people, from students, candidates, teachers, official wizards, store owners, etc., there's been two other people who I've run into with a Nature Affinity.
The first one has been an Advanced Apprentice Wizard that focuses mainly on the wood, nature, and water elements. The second being a vendor in the market, from the Shell Turtle Tribe, mainly focused on selling his clan's speciality: Crystallized Octopus Ink, used for writing scrolls imbued with mana.
The Nature Affinity covers mainly trees, more specifically wood, certain flowers, mushrooms, or even living Golems from what I heard.
Also seems that I'm close to advancing to Elementary Apprentice Wizard.
The skills section even shows my mastery and progress within them. The Grow Spell is used to mainly supplement my Voinwood spell, since they work so well together. The Voinwood Vines Spell requires voinwood, and rather than wasting tons of mana making such wood, carrying the seeds and allowing them to grow almost instantly is more effective. The accuracy of the vines are enough to spar with and target specific limbs, but not precise enough to hit vital spots.
The spell has almost no effect on magical plants due to its low mastery. At the peak, I should be able to show some visible growth within the lower magical plants. There are more advanced versions of the spell from original Lock's memory.
