Chapter 1 - so...this is the beginning of the story

"My name is Satoru Ace. I'm 18 years old. My house is on the outskirts of Kuoh, and I'm not married. I'm a student at Sobu High, and I get home every day by 8 p.m. at the latest, if nothing gets in the way. I don't smoke or drink. I go to bed at 11 p.m. again, if nothing gets in the way and I make sure to get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After drinking a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretching before bed, I usually sleep soundly until morning. Like a baby, I wake up refreshed, without fatigue or stress. My last health check-up said I was perfectly fine. I'm just trying to explain that I'm a person who wants to live a peaceful life. I try not to get caught up in things like winning or losing things that would keep me up at night. That's how I deal with the world, and I know that's what makes me happy.

But... if I ever had to fight, I wouldn't lose to anyone."

I said that while staring into the mirror.

"Ace, what are you doing?"

"Eh... nothing."

"Heh, doing your monologue again?"

"Forget that. Is breakfast ready?" I asked, walking toward the table.

"Ready and warm," he replied.

Let's continue the introduction. I, Satoru Ace, am a reincarnator. Shocking, right?

Well... not really. You know how it goes, just like those cliché novels or fanfics.

I died, blah blah blah, and then I was reborn as a baby.

Yeah, a baby. Not an adult or an overpowered hero right off the bat.

If you look, oh wait, you can't actually see, huh? Hehe.

Anyway, my parents aren't around. Don't get me wrong, they're not dead or anything. They just work far away. They still send money every month, and we talk on the phone often. So, unlike most reincarnators, I wasn't abandoned or left to die alone.

And I'm not exactly alone either. In front of me is my robotic friend or rather, a Power Sphere.

Yeah, the same kind you see in BoBoiBoy.

Oh, and remember when I said I live on the outskirts of Kuoh?

Yeah, that Kuoh. The one from High School DxD.

Or maybe I should call this a crossover world?

Anyway, I figured that out thanks to my system, a system that can answer any question I ask.

Like most reincarnators, I got a cheat too.

But luckily, mine isn't the type that punishes me for not completing some random quest.

It's more like a Q&A system. As long as I ask, it answers.

"Why are you so quiet?"

"Just thinking about how to get a girlfriend."

"I don't understand."

"Of course you don't, you're a robot. Anyway, since school's about to start, I'll go to the bookstore first."

"Be careful."

"Yeah, yeah."

After breakfast, I went for a walk, planning to stop by the bookstore, maybe I'd find something interesting along the way.

"Hey, System, can you tell me which anime worlds are mixed into this one?"

[Displaying worlds according to the user's request.]

"Whoa, that's a lot. Okay, just show me the ones with major events or that affect the world."

[Displaying according to the user's request.]

"Hmm... DxD, of course. BoBoiBoy too... To Love Ru, Ben 10, Dandadan—"

I paused, blinking several times.

"What the hell kind of world is this? This is pure chaos!"

"Just imagine," I sighed. "If Vilgax found a decent Power Sphere, even if it's not as strong as the Omnitrix, that alone would be a nightmare."

"And Gid... the King of the Galaxy. There's no way he doesn't have a Power Sphere. It'd be weird if he didn't."

"Which means the Plumbers and T.A.P.O.P.S. must exist too. Add that to all the crazy things already happening on Earth and... ugh."

I rubbed my temples. "Just thinking about it gives me a headache."

After walking for a while, I finally reached a small bookstore.

"Yo, Kamiyama-san," I greeted, raising a hand.

"Yo, Ace-kun. So, you're coming with me now?" Kamiyama-san asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

Kamiyama-san opened a thick book, and a mechanical voice echoed: "BOOK GATE."

The door in front of us started to glow softly. When he opened it, a shimmering portal appeared.

"Come on, the others are waiting," Kamiyama-san said with a smile.

"Alright," I nodded.

As I stepped through, I felt as if I were flying.

In an instant, I was standing in a large room filled with bookshelves stretching all the way up to the ceiling.

Two other people were already there, waiting.

"Welcome to the Northern Base of the Sword of Logos, both of you," said the woman dressed in white.

"So, he's the one chosen by Ankokuken Kurayami," said the man holding a yellow sword, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Did I do something wrong?" I whispered to Kamiyama-san.

"Don't worry. He's just like that. He's got issues with the previous wielder of Kurayami," Kamiyama-san explained.

"My name is Sophia, guardian of the Northern Base and one of the Sword of Logos council members," Sophia introduced herself.

"I'm Fukumiya Kento, Swordsman of Thunder and wielder of Raimeiken Ikazuchi," said Fukumiya-san.

"My name is Satoru Ace. I'm 18 years old. My house is on the outskirts of Kuoh, and I'm not married. I'm a student at Sobu High, and I get home every day by 8 p.m.—"

Before I could finish, Kamiyama-san covered my mouth.

"Ahem, his name is Satoru Ace," he said quickly.

'Hey, interrupting someone's introduction is rude, you know, Kamiyama-san,' I thought.

"Hehe, quite an interesting introduction, Satoru-kun. Come, take a seat. We have much to discuss," Sophia said with a smile.

— Timeskip —

I was walking from the bookstore toward the convenience store.

"Hmm... the Kamen Rider Saber storyline's a bit different here," I muttered.

During my talk with Sophia and Fukumiya-san, we discussed the duties of the Sword of Logos and some of its history.

'So, there aren't any Megido trying to use the Wonder Ride Books to merge this world with Wonder World. Instead, there are demons trying to merge Hell with this world. Still kind of the same. The Swordsman of Light used Kougouken Saikou and Ankokuken Kurayami to separate the two worlds again,' I thought.

"A bit messy, but whatever," I sighed.

I entered the store and bought some cooking ingredients. When I reached for the meat section, I spotted one of the main characters—Yotsuya Miko.

She was trying to grab some vegetables, but a malicious spirit was hovering near her.

"No matter how many times I look, that thing's still ugly," I muttered.

As I passed by, I coated my hand with cursed energy mixed with touki, then crushed the spirit instantly.

'System, even though I've asked before... it's fine to mix cursed energy and touki, right?' I asked in my mind.

[Normally, no. But since you're using the method I provided, it's fine.]

I nodded slightly and went to the cashier.

"I'm home."

"Welcome back. So, how was it?"

"No problems."

"That's good."

"Hey, Craftbot, can your power create supernatural things?" I asked, sitting on the sofa.

"What power? I don't have any powers," Craftbot replied sarcastically.

"Bruh, I mean the ability you gave me," I clarified.

Craftbot just shrugged. "No idea."

"So let me get this straight—my power lets me create anything as long as I know how to make it?" I asked.

"Technically yes, but to be specific," Craftbot began explaining, "at stage one, you not only need to know how to make it but also understand the context of the materials. For example, if you don't know what iron is, you can't create things that require iron, even if you try substituting it with something else."

"Yeah, I know that. But in stage two, that restriction doesn't apply anymore, right?" I asked.

"Correct," he nodded.

"So technically, I should be able to create supernatural things," I said.

"Hmm... maybe. Why not give it a try?"

'System, is that possible?'

[Of course.]

'Alright then. System, show me how to create the Thousand Demon Dagger.'

[Displaying instructions for creating Thousand Demon Dagger.]

After reading and understanding the process, I followed the instructions. Slowly, lines of light formed above my palm, shaping into a dagger. Moments later, a black blade materialized in my hand.

"Hmm... let's give it a try."

"Wait, isn't that just a sword? I thought you were going to make something supernatural," Craftbot said.

"This is supernatural," I replied, drawing the blade from its sheath.

"The blade's all cracked, looks like a failed product to me," he muttered.

I waved my finger in front of his face. "Nope. This was made perfectly."

I poured my touki into the blade, and the broken fragments began floating and moving according to my will.

I whistled. "Not bad. Not bad at all."

"By the way, how do you even know how to make that?" Craftbot asked.

"I already told you, I have a system that gives me all the answers," I replied.

"So... you're not crazy?"

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING CRAZY?!"

"Well, when someone talks to the air, you can't really call them sane, can you?"

"Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Now I'm curious, can you see spirits or curses?" I asked.

"No," he said flatly.

"You serious?"

"Yep."

"Before that, do you even believe in spirits or curses, like the ones I told you about before?"

"Hehehe... OF COURSE NOT!"

"Then why'd you listen so seriously back then?"

"Ehem... I thought you were a bit unhinged, so I humored you."

I started controlling the floating sword fragments again, aiming them at Craftbot.

"BASTARD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! MY NEW PAINT JOB'S GONNA GET SCRATCHED!"

"LIKE I CARE, YOU CLANKER!!"

"HEY! YOU SAID THAT 'R' TOO HARD! THAT'S OFFENSIVE!"

"SHUT IT, YOU CLANKER! I'M GOING TO THE BASEMENT!" I shouted, storming downstairs.
