Synopsis
A thousand years after the fall of the Black Sphere, the cursed world of Nerath became home to the forgotten — slaves left to fight demons born from darkness. Among them lives a young man who dreams not of freedom, but of escape. When he and his four friends flee to Earth, they uncover secrets buried deep within the universe — truths about gods, humans, and demons that were never meant to be known. Meanwhile, in another world, a killer dies… only to awaken before God, tasked with a single command — kill the chosen hero. As fate twists their paths together, enemies turn into allies, and rebellion against the divine begins. In a universe built on lies, they will rise to shatter the truth itself. This is Aetherion — where gods play games, and mortals learn to break them.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Aetherion — a vast universe of many worlds.

Humans live on Earth, demons in their dark land, and gods upon their sacred realm.

Each world holds its own life, its own story — all connected under the same endless sky of Aetherion.

Earth

A world where humans dwell, divided by the power they hold.

Here, humanity exists in three forms:

Arcanists — The gifted few born with the ability to wield magic. They are rare, powerful, and often rule over others.

Mortans — The ordinary humans with no trace of magic in their blood. They form the majority, living simple lives under the shadow of the Arcanists.

Drayns — The lowest class, bound by servitude. Stripped of freedom and rights, they live as slaves, serving both Mortans and Arcanists alike.

Brief History of Earth

A thousand years ago, a black sphere fell from the sky. Everything within a five-kilometer radius of its impact turned into demons — twisted beings under its dark control.

Humanity was on the edge of extinction. Then, eight individuals awakened magical powers through what came to be known as the God's Game — a divine trial whose truth remains hidden in legend.

Together, they saved the world and sealed the black sphere. Unable to destroy it, they used ancient teleportation magic to send it far away — to a desolate planet now called Nerath.

The slaves, known as Drayns, were sent there as well — to fight the corrupted demons and prevent their return.
