Chapter 1 - The Heart of a Villain

One girl and one boy had a story, but they never met because no one truly loved them. The girl was perfect, while the boy was the opposite of her—dark, misunderstood, and seen as a villain. Yet, destiny brought them together as husband and wife. Her brother distrusted the boy, and though the boy was not afraid, he felt no trust from anyone. Despite being the strongest of all time, the boy died in battle—not because he was weak, but because "love does not care about your strength; it sees only your heart." In his last moment, holding his wife, he whispered: "I… I… I have always loved you, my darling." When he died, time itself changed. He awoke 2,000 years later, meeting both her and her brother once again in a world that felt like an isekai. Before meeting her, he saw that she had grown into the most perfect, strong, and radiant woman—truly 10/10 in every way. Her brother, too, had grown prosperous and kind. The boy, however, still carried the weight of his past, and before entering the classroom, everyone was shocked at his presence. He still looked like a villain. When he finally saw his wife, he said: "Damn… so strong. You know, the strong are always alone." She replied: "No. I am here with you." All were shocked. Everyone thought he spoke for himself, but he spoke for her. She knew his feelings, every unspoken truth of his heart. She told him: "I know what you mean for me, but love without understanding is meaningless. True love is only known when feelings are recognized." For the first time, the boy—who had never cried—shed tears. He hugged her tightly: "I have always loved you!" They lived happily for a while, yet love is entwined with hate, and joy often exists alongside sorrow. People attacked his wife and even her brother, and the boy was devastated. He realized it was his own strength that made them targets. Emotionless and tortured for ten long years, he endured endless pain. By the time he turned thirty, rage consumed him. "I will kill all humans." His soul had already broken, yet he carried on. He killed, destroyed, and erased timelines. Eventually, he created a new timeline, a world where he could live peacefully with his wife. Yet even this was an illusion. In reality, he had already died, whispering to her in his last moments: "Darling… I am coming. I am always with you." Everything he experienced after that—the revenge, the rage, the battles, and the happiness—was all in his imagination. He realized: "All is a lie. All is imagination. Life is the same as my world—what is life? It is merely opening your eyes." Despite seeing happiness in his mind, reality was cruel. His love remained unrequited; his wife treated him as a villain. All that he thought was real—revenge, family, children, love—was an illusion. Yet, in his imagined world, he whispered endlessly: "Darling, I love you…" Even as he destroyed everything in his imagined reality, some good people survived. He and his imagined wife shared fleeting happiness. They had children, smiled, and lived together… but the illusion collapsed. Alone, he realized: "I am nothing. Even trash is better, for I have been trapped in the same place, endlessly, like no one else." In the end, his wife—revealed as an imagination—'killed' him in his mind. He was alone. He had loved her deeply, but she never existed in reality. The few people who survived remembered him as a villain, while the girl, in their memories, became a hero. "Come… darling, let us go together in hell." And in his final moment, he smiled, and she smiled… together, in death.
