I. Jump and Dimensional Detection
Kaguya activated the stolen Dimensional Anchor at the center of the Demon King's tower. The dark crystal vibrated violently, resonating with Goku's concentrated Ki. The energy stability was so high that the portal opened without the usual chaos.
The team found themselves floating in a rainbow energy tunnel.
"This crystal has a Class A stability. The jump will be clean, to a sector with high atmospheric Mana density and a strong magnetic resonance," Kaguya reported, adjusting the exit coordinates.
"I hope the next enemy is a worthy challenge, not another bureaucrat obsessed with cleanliness," Tatsumaki muttered, still irritated by the encounter with Sir Zeld.
"I just hope there's a good training spot and delicious food," Goku said with his eternal smile.
Erza, her hand on her sword, felt the imminence of the new world. "I perceive a different elemental energy, very volatile, as if the power doesn't come from a spell, but from the body itself."
CRACK!
The portal opened over a vast blue ocean, beneath a brilliant sun. They landed on a small, uninhabited island with a single central hill. The air smelled of salt and adventure.
"Environmental analysis: High salt concentration, 95% humidity, and the main energy is called 'Haki'," Kaguya said, looking at her panel. "It seems we've arrived in a world of pirates."
II. The Stowaway and the Gelatin
As Kaguya began scanning the island, her energy detector emitted an alarm.
"Wait a moment! I detect a Class F Mana signature, but with a latent explosive overload, less than five meters away. It's an energy signature that should have been left in the other dimension!"
Everyone went on guard. Erza quickly re-equipped her Flame Empress Armor. Tatsumaki prepared to crush whatever it was.
Goku used his Ki to locate the source. It was inside Kaguya's spare luggage, which had fallen near a thicket.
"It's in Kaguya's bag!" Goku yelled.
Kaguya approached cautiously and pulled the zipper of the dimensional bag. Out of it came not a monster, but a small figure with an eyepatch, dressed in her black robe and a pointy hat.
It was Megumin!
Megumin stumbled out of the bag, breathing heavily. "What an uncomfortable jump! I'm getting dizzy again..."
"Megumin! What are you doing here?!" Erza shouted, stunned.
"How did you get into my sealed Class 8 dimensional compartment?! That violates the laws of interdimensional physics!" Kaguya exclaimed, more annoyed by the violation of her technology than by the girl's presence.
Megumin straightened up, wiping the dirt off her robe. "I... I just wanted to see the biggest Explosion in the universe. I saw the map the engineer put up, and Axel is very boring. Besides, that boy, Kazuma, was getting obsessed with the gelatin."
"Kazuma!" Goku exclaimed, suddenly understanding. "Did Kazuma steal you?!"
"No, no... Steal is his skill. I stole the jump map before he could steal my dignity. Besides, I brought supplies."
Megumin opened a small sack she was carrying. It wasn't full of potions, but several large pieces of the divine blue gelatin that covered the Demon King's castle.
"It's good emergency food. It tastes like citrus and has a purifying pH of 7.5," Megumin said, offering a piece to Goku.
III. The Psychic vs. Explosive Rivalry
Tatsumaki, who had been watching the scene with growing repulsion, exploded.
"This is unacceptable! We are an elite team to save dimensions, not a kindergarten! And you are a one-trick mage who exhausted her energy on a piece of gelatin!"
"Hey! My Explosion is the most powerful attack magic! And I am the greatest Arch-Mage in the world! And I'm a teenager, not a kindergarten child!" Megumin protested.
"I can disintegrate a continent with a thought! You can't even move a rock after casting your only spell! You lack the discipline or the maturity to be an S-Class adventurer!" Tatsumaki snapped, and a green psychic aura enveloped Megumin.
Megumin, unfazed, raised her staff. "If you can make an Explosion bigger than mine, then I'll respect you! Otherwise, I am superior!"
Erza intervened, placing her hand on Tatsumaki's shoulder before the psychic could do anything. "That's enough, Tatsumaki. She is not our enemy. She is a new factor of chaos. Kaguya, what do we do with her?"
Kaguya sighed. "The dimensional crystal needs three more fragments to function optimally. The girl's latent power is a risk to discretion, but it can be a low-level energy source in an emergency. We will accept her. But if she uses Explosion and attracts any S-Class warship, it will be her responsibility."
"Great! My first explosion at sea!" Megumin shouted with excitement.
IV. The Anchor of the Seven Seas
Kaguya pointed her scanner toward the horizon, where a chain of islands could be seen in the distance.
"The next Dimensional Anchor we are looking for has a unique energy signature: Dimensional Ki combined with organic elemental power. It is very volatile, but stable. It must be a user of a high-level Devil Fruit. The most stable in this dimension is the Light Fruit, the Fire Fruit, or..."
"Or something that can control the force of the sea, the most powerful element here," Erza finished.
"Correct. The largest energy source is in that direction," Kaguya pointed toward the horizon. "It's an island where the energy is incredibly dense. And there appears to be a concentration of high-risk naval activity."
Goku stretched, excited. "A Devil Fruit user! I want to see how strong their power is!"
Akiha was already walking toward the shore. "We will sail."
Megumin, with her gelatin in hand, looked at the vast ocean with a malicious smile. The world of One Piece was about to experience its first and catastrophic Explosion.
