Ana's POV
The next few days flew by in a whirlwind of paperwork and endless phone calls as I threw myself into launching my studio.
My to-do list felt impossible: state business registration, getting an EIN from the IRS, setting up business banking, hunting down talented designers and a project manager. Right now, it was just me against the world, and every single task landed squarely on my shoulders.
Edwin had thrown out the idea of just taking over a wing at Vernon Group headquarters. Sure, they didn't have a fashion division, but he'd promised they could whip one up for me in no time.
I'd shot that down fast.
This was about building something from scratch—my way. I wasn't about to take the easy route by riding on the family name.
When Edwin saw how set I was on this, he backed off without another word.
The studio space needed a complete overhaul, so I asked Julio for Caspian's contact info.
