Chapter 1 - Beginnings

It was an, essentially, average day in Qinglong, 14 year old Quon in the small quaint town of Horokami. Quon didn't have any element, wood, metal, earth, fire, or water! It seemed he was always that way, though this year, in the Magic Leap Examinations, he can finally find out if he has magic or not! Every 14 year old in the kingdom had to take this exam to find what power they held, and what level of said power they had!

"Quon! Come help me with farm work, stop dilly dallying in the fields! Your Magic Leap Exam is in one week!" Lee, the village elder scolded.

With a sigh Quon went to help cut grain for the harvest

"Still trying to get powers after 14 years?" Shirooka asked sarcastically or not, Quon couldn't really tell, he wasn't very good at that stuff

"What would you know, of course I am, when the Magic Leap Exam's come to this village, I'll be the strongest, and maybe I could be one of the kingdoms greatest knights!" Quon answered, just to be sure

Shirooka blew his hair "I didn't ask for your life story loser, plus, I'll be the greatest knight, I'm already promising enough!" He boasted as he used his water power to wash clothes.

Quon grunted "Oh yeah?" Quon asked with a sprinkle of sarcasm of his own "Well I don't care! I'm going to become a knight, power or no power!"

He stormed off dropping his basket onto the ground as he headed towards his home, where he lived alone ever since his parents died due to the civil war…

Quon looked up at the wooden ceiling, he blew out his candle and stared into the darkness until he drifted off back to sleep. He wasn't one to cry, he was always headstrong, yet this time, he cried silently as he drifted off…into the knight where people and animals alike, rest….
