Chapter 1 - THE BEGINNING AND THE END

The kingdom of Nor had lost the very essence of its identity.

‎Once, it had flourished as a realm adorned with vibrant banners and resonant spires that sang with joy. Now, every tower stood in somber resignation, like mourners beneath the fading ember glow of a dying sun. The townsfolk wandered the streets with eyes void of life, clutching frayed scraps of parchment tied with string—each bearing names, faces, and cherished memories from their youth—written down in desperate attempts to retain a sense of self amidst the encroaching darkness.

‎Deep beneath the capital, a stirring began in the obscurity.

‎A heartbeat.

‎Slow.

‎Hungry.

‎a creature crawl out of the unknown from vast cosmo from different dimensions devouring everything in sight a crack in fabric of time turn everything into ruin

‎Stone fissured, and dust cascaded from vaulted ceilings that had been shrouded in darkness for centuries. In the hallowed tomb, far beneath the city, a colossal figure, ensnared in ancient runes, stirred slightly within its chains.

‎The Pale Sovereign sensed the tremors of fear above.

‎And it recalled the gnawing ache of hunger.Albern an Clara fled through the wood to keep their unborn child safe running through the wood turning back to seeing everything in flames an painful shouting going deeper into the wood there have to leave everything behind including the iron ore a rare metallic material preserved by their generational lineage to save theirs lives.

‎ In the wood there were attack by wild monsters the have not seen before albern drew his sword Albern's grip tightened on the hilt of his sword, the blade humming with a silvery-blue glow that pulsed like a heartbeat. The air around him shimmered with the energy it radiated, bending the shadows cast by the twisted trees. From the forest edge, a low, guttural growl rolled through the mist—and then more growls answered it. Wild monsters emerged in waves: hunched, sinewy beasts with matted fur, eyes burning with hunger, claws scraping the stone as they charged.

‎He planted his feet firmly, twisting the blade in a wide arc. The first monster lunged, jaws snapping. Albern pivoted, and with a roar, he swung horizontally. The sword cut through the air with a hiss, the glow igniting a shock wave that slammed into the beast's chest. It howled as claws and limbs were thrown backward, and shards of energy scorched the earth where it had landed. Another monster leapt from the shadows, teeth bared, and Albern spun again—this time a vertical slash that cleaved through fur and muscle. Sparks of blue light burst outward, rippling like water through the fog.

‎The monsters didn't hesitate. They surged forward in packs, fangs glinting, claws tearing at the air. Albern's sword slashed in a continuous dance: a low sweep to trip one, a diagonal cut to block another, a thrust that sent a monster staggering into its companions. Each strike unleashed small arcs of energy, knocking attackers off balance, leaving trails of shimmering light in their wake. The ground shook with every shock wave, dust and leaves spiraling into the air.

‎One particularly large beast, horned and snarling, tried to flank him. Albern whirled, raising the glowing blade high. With a spinning strike, he carved a spiraling arc of light through the air. The shock wave slammed into the beast, sending it crashing into its pack, which staggered and fell under the cascading force. Another group of smaller creatures closed in, but Albern leapt onto a fallen log, pivoting mid-air, slicing downward. The blade's glow intensified, and the monsters shrieked, retreating a step as the energy rippled outward, searing their fur and claws.

‎His movements became a fluid blur: a horizontal sweep here, a thrust there, a spinning slash that sent multiple beasts tumbling back. Albern's eyes never left the monsters' glowing eyes. He could feel their hunger, their relentless drive to tear him apart, and yet each strike met him with the perfect resistance, amplified by the glowing sword. Every monster that tried to reach him was met with arcs of blue fire, each shock wave pushing them apart, each slash cutting through their ranks.

‎Then more came, larger than before, muscles rippling, teeth bared. Albern gritted his teeth, shouting as he summoned all the energy in the sword. He swung it in a wide, circular strike. The blade flared brighter than ever, a wave of light exploding outward in a shockwave that sent the monsters flying backward like ragdolls. Their cries echoed through the misty forest. Albern landed gracefully, sweat mixing with grime, sword still glowing, ready for the next wave.

‎The creatures regrouped, snarling, circling like predators testing a lion. Albern adjusted his stance, glowing sword raised. Each slash, each shock wave, each pulse of light was a deadly message: he would not fall. And as the monsters lunged again, hungry and relentless, Albern's blade sang through the night, a beacon of lethal precision against the wild chaos surging toward him.He barely fend them off, after few minutes he is already drowsy a weak after taking a hit to clara he was so weak he lean against a tree he heard monster scream from distance he didn't have time taking Clara an running deeper into the wood.

‎ Back at nor the atmosphere change the air tense the survivors little the kingdom in ruin the onces beautiful place now become a place where scavenger mammals feast a wild beast eating the remnant of the body ripping the intestines out of the stomach with blood dripping flesh apart with crushed score dragging the body an dashing into the faint light of the forest starring back with red eyes with dark circles an dripping blood it has feast before vanishing from plane side. The air trembled with a metallic hum as other sword saint gripped their sword, eyes darting across the mist-shrouded valley. The creature had appeared at dusk—an ethereal predator, scales glinting like molten gold, glowing faintly beneath the shadow of the cliffs. It moved with impossible speed, vanishing and reappearing like a trick of light, leaving scorched earth and shattered trees in its wake.

‎Kael's "bowman" the kings guard, Arlen the king of Nor an also a warrior, nocked arrow after arrow with frenzied precision. He aimed for the faint glow along the creature's spine, the only solid target he could see before it blurred into nothingness. "Hold steady!" Kael barked, circling, sword raised. The creature's roar split the air, a high-pitched, echoing shriek that rattled the rocks. Kael pivoted just as it struck—talons whipping past, snapping tree trunks like twigs.

‎Steel met claw. Kael's sword rang against the monster's strike, sparks flying as he rolled to the side, lunging to slice at its flank. The blade passed through a shimmer of light, cutting nothing but air. The creature blinked into view again, closer now, glowing brighter, as if feeding on the chaos of battle. Arrows hissed past it; one hit, embedding in a scale, and the beast flinched—then vanished.

‎Kael's heart hammered. He spun, scanning for the glow. It appeared atop a rock spire, wings unfurled, tail lashing. He dashed forward, boots skidding over loose stones, sword swinging in a wide arc. The blade cut through glowing mist, the force of its strike met by a rush of wind as the creature dove. Kael ducked, rolling under where it had been a heartbeat ago, only to find it materializing behind Arlen.

‎"Watch out!" Kael shouted. Arlen fired a rapid volley, arrows streaking through the air. One pierced the creature's shoulder; it howled, leaving trails of shimmering light, and vanished mid-scream. Kael leapt, slashing at the space where it would reappear, the steel humming as it cleaved through mist and memory. The monster reemerged above him, jaws snapping. He swung again—contact! Sparks burst as sword met scale. A sharp hiss of smoke filled the valley.

‎Arlen backed up, drawing a special longbow, tipped with enchanted iron. He let fly arrow after arrow, tracking the faint glow as it darted from tree to tree, stone to stone. Each arrow slowed it slightly, forcing it to vanish in one place and reappear in another, but never long enough to strike decisively. Kael closed the distance, moving with the rhythm of the monster's flickering appearances, swinging, feinting, and striking at spaces where flesh might be.

‎The battle became a blur—sword slashing through bursts of light, arrows cutting arcs that trailed like lightning in the air. The monster's glow intensified, a brilliant, blinding radiance, then with a shuddering roar, it vanished completely, leaving a faint shimmer that lingered in the valley like heat on stone. Silence followed—broken only by Kael's ragged breaths and the twang of Arlen's bowstring.

‎Kael lowered his sword, scanning every shadow, every flicker of light. The valley was scarred, trees splintered, the ground torn by claws and arrows alike. Yet the glowing predator was gone, leaving only the echo of its presence, a haunting reminder of the speed and cunning that no sword or bow could fully capture, the other sword saint have lost their life one after the others fight does beast that sworm the kingdom to the wood giving al there have. Yet could stop them the only succeeded defending the king an given them enough time to escape through the wood . Both warriors knew it had not been defeated—only eluded. There barley kept their life the neee to take shelter an informed the other kings of the danger an seek shelter because the kingdom have fill with nothingness but dangerous creatures crawling the kingdom of nor.
