Chapter 2 - part 2

In the School Infirmary

"Hey, Hae-wool, wait here," I said. "Let me grab the antiseptic for you."

"Okay," Hae-wool replied, glancing toward a high shelf. "I think it's on that one."

I turned in that direction, squinting. "Where is it...?" I murmured. It is beyond my reach but I can't even ask him to get it. He'll just start showing off about his height again.

I looked around, found a chair, and pulled it closer. As I climbed onto the chair and reached for the bottle, Hae-wool suddenly stepped closer.

Before my fingers could brush the glass, his hand reached past mine — warm, steady, and way too close.

For a second, neither of us moved.I could feel his breath near my ear, and my heart forgot how to beat properly.

When he finally handed me the bottle, our eyes met — just long enough to make me forget why I'd climbed up in the first place.

" put it on by yourself ." I said .

" you ungrateful brat!" he muttered ,rolling his eyes.

" Did you say something?" I asked as i heard what he said beore..

" nah! What would i even say?" he replied.

" Do you think I'm deaf?"

" Who said you are a deaf!"

" Stand up and let me take you to the classroom"

When i entered the classroom I saw the whole class was humming under their breath.I guess they were talking about us.

"Why is everyone looking at us like they have seen a ghost" I said.

" You are caring for me its nothing less than watching a ghost",he replied.

 "shut up" I yelled.

After class ended, I went to Hae-wool and asked if I could help him get home. Hae-wool gladly accepted my offer . I can see something was up to his mind .But I can't read that .Maybe he was thinking why am I being this nice to him.

"What happened to you ? I've never seen this side of yours ."Hae -Wool said.

I told him not to overthink anything. . I was just helping him out of guilty. If he didnt come to save me this wouldn't have happened .

" Im glad that this happened" Hae-wool said with a smirk
