Gulbob is born in war, so he doesn't trust anyone easily only himself and believes that is the case. But one day, he found somebody who he thought is trustworthy. While he's on duty (he's a commander of the main strike force of their tribe) and is on an expedition for supplies, they found a lake filled with fish and surrounded with life. They stopped to take some supplies and take a break for a while.
The other soldiers were resting. He was taking a walk around the lake when he heard a scream and rushed toward the direction of the scream. Then he found a woman getting chased by a wyvern, and the woman sees Gulbob and screams for help.
Gulbob said, "Get behind those trees!"
And the woman rushed. Gulbob attacked first with a slash attack, but the wyvern dodges and counterattacks. But Gulbob parries the attack and fires "Rock Bullets" straight into the wyvern's eyes. Gulbob used Aura slash to behead the wyvern.
Shortly after that, the soldiers he left rushed to look for where he was because they heard shouts and fighting.
Gulbob said to the soldiers, "Help the woman."
One of the soldiers said, "Sir, what happened here?"
Gulbob: "I heard screams, and I found this woman getting chased by a wyvern! And why are you asking questions instead of helping the goddamn woman?!"
Soldier: "S-sorry, sir, you're r-right…" (proceeds to awkwardly help the woman)
Gulbob: "While you're at it, take the body of the wyvern. The meat is not that satisfying to eat, but it's still food, and the scales can be made for armor. Now let's go to the camp."
