Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: First Magical Upcycling – Explosively Fashionable

Ace's tail twitched nervously as the glowing threads wrapped themselves around his tiny cat paw. The adventurer—whose name, apparently, was Sir Bramble—stared wide-eyed, gripping his crumpled armor like it was a ticking bomb.

"Uh… is it supposed to sparkle like that?" Sir Bramble asked, taking a cautious step back.

"Of course," Ace meowed, flicking a paw with authority. "It's… explosively fashionable."

The hamster, Milo, squeaked in alarm. "Explosively fashionable? That sounds dangerous!"

Ace ignored him. Danger was part of the job. He was a cat fashion designer now, for crying out loud. Nothing in life had prepared him for this, but somehow… he felt oddly in control.

"Step one: assess materials," Ace thought, hopping onto the table. Scattered around were scraps of enchanted metal, glittering fabric, and a particularly suspicious feather that seemed to twitch on its own.

He batted the feather. Nothing happened… yet. Good.

"Step two: measure client," Milo reminded him. The hamster jumped onto Sir Bramble's shoulder and tried to roll out a tiny measuring tape. The adventurer flinched.

"Uh… is the tape alive?"

"Yes," Milo said cheerfully. "But it's friendly… mostly."

Ace sighed. This was already ridiculous. But that's exactly what makes it fun.

He swatted a piece of enchanted fabric onto Sir Bramble's chest. The fabric shimmered, floated, and then—bang!—a small puff of smoke erupted. Sir Bramble coughed, waving his arms.

"Explosively… fashionable," Ace meowed, a little smug.

The glove of glowing thread wrapped itself around the adventurer's arm, extending into a gauntlet that looked like it belonged in a dragon queen's wardrobe. It sparkled. It shimmered. And… it was surprisingly snug.

"Wow…" Sir Bramble gasped. "It actually fits! And it's… magical! My sword feels lighter!"

"Step three: hope nothing explodes," Ace muttered. Milo scribbled notes frantically. "So far… so good?"

Suddenly, the feather twitched violently. Ace's ears perked up. Milo squeaked. Sir Bramble froze.

"Uh… that feather…" Milo whispered. "It's… not friendly!"

Before anyone could react, the feather launched itself across the workshop like a tiny missile, hitting a pile of enchanted fabric. A sparkly explosion filled the room—glitter and sparks flying everywhere.

Sir Bramble coughed, brushing glitter off his armor. "I… I think I like it?"

Ace licked a paw and preened. "Of course you do. Fashion is all about risk. And a little chaos."

Milo muttered, "We're going to need… a bigger fire extinguisher."

From the corner of the workshop, a shadow stirred. A voice, smooth and sarcastic, cut through the glittery chaos:

"Well, well… a cat running a fashion studio. This should be interesting."

Ace froze. He didn't know who—or what—was there. But he knew one thing: the kingdom just got a lot more complicated.

A sleek, black parrot swoops in through the window, landing on the edge of the worktable. Its eyes glint mischievously. "I hear you need a business consultant."
