Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 Colson is very melancholy

Few people could evade S.H.I.E.L.D.'s tracking, but Tony Stark was definitely one of them—especially if the plane had been stolen.

The two of them sneaked back to Tony's mansion.

Qin Xiao had just experienced Tony's intelligent luxury bathtub at home.

At the door stood Coulson, with a remarkably neat hairline and an honest face.

"Sir, the agent from that long, notorious intelligence agency has arrived!"

J.A.R.V.I.S. mimicked Tony's humorous tone.

Coulson showed no sign of anger. He smiled at the two of them and then opened a video on his phone, placing it before them.

It was a clip of two men flaunting their skills in the Middle East.

"Do you have anything to say?"

Coulson looked at them seriously.

"You should go to the cinema. The pirated quality is terrible. You could try my private screening room; you'd love it there. By the way, what's the movie called?"

Tony's response was much more serious.

Coulson sighed helplessly. "Don't you think the thing on Iron Man's chest looks a lot like the thing on yours?"

"Are you joking? That's an arc reactor! It has LED lights on the front!"

Tony's reaction left Coulson no choice but to turn toward Qin Xiao.

He pointed to the photo showing Qin Xiao swinging a tank cannon and smashing cars.

"Qin, what do you have to say?"

"This guy is ugly. Is he your friend? He's disgusting. Does he have crap on his face?"

Qin Xiao had barely spoken before Coulson, furious, almost reached to grab his hair.

Qin Xiao's shamelessness clearly exceeded Coulson's imagination. Even Tony beside him nearly burst out laughing.

"Outstanding!"

Coulson sighed deeply again.

He finally understood why Nick Fury had smashed his phone.

He took a few deep breaths to calm himself.

"This video was sent from the Middle East to Obadiah. We intercepted it. I'm giving Stark one week to handle his company's affairs. After one week, my team will take action."

Seeing Tony finally nod seriously, Coulson stood and turned to leave, worried that staying any longer might burn off the hair on his head.

"Right!"

Just as Coulson reached the door, he returned.

"We lost a Quinjet from our branch. Qin, you're our agent—any news?"

Qin Xiao smiled mysteriously.

"I'm just an intern agent. But if you want something fun, I can show you one of China's greatest mystical arts—fortune-telling. You could think of it as divination!"

Qin Xiao raised his right hand, tapping his thumb quickly with four fingers.

He even muttered: "Child, mouse, ugly one, ox, tiger, cat, rabbit, dragon! A bit messy, really messy! Hair! You don't understand love! Supreme, you're urgent like the law! Uh!"

A smile spread across Qin Xiao's face.

Though Coulson and Tony knew he was talking nonsense, the performance remained impressive.

Tony played along, his face showing eager anticipation.

"So, how's it going? Did the fortune-telling work? Where's the plane?"

"Not that easy!"

Qin Xiao rolled his eyes.

"One last step remains!"

"Qiankun, Kan, Force, Shock, Root! Eight Trigrams scatter, broken shoes seek the path! Let's go!"

Qin Xiao shouted and threw his shoes into the air.

"Alright!"

"Send people along the direction of the shoes. The plane should be not far from the beach!"

Coulson covered his face with his hand, despair written all over it.

"Agent Qin Xiao, thank you for finding the plane. I'll report this to commemorate your achievement!"

"No problem!"

Qin Xiao waved casually.

"Just give me a little bonus next month. Nothing much—5% of the plane's price will do!"

Coulson coughed, feeling a metallic tang of blood rise in his chest.

He turned and left without a word.

"Wait, we can negotiate—3% is fine, if not, 1% is okay too, as long as you're sincere!"

From a distance, Coulson heard Qin Xiao muttering behind him and stumbled, almost falling.

"So stingy!"

Qin Xiao continued to mumble quietly behind him.

On the plane, Qin Xiao and Tony reached a certain understanding.

They would establish an independent organization outside of all official departments.

But this would take time. For now, with only the two of them, it wasn't necessary.

For Tony, the most important issue at present was Obadiah.

The next morning, Tony went straight to the company—a rare occurrence.

Finding no one there, he went straight to his office, poured two glasses of alcohol, and waited quietly.

He knew that Obadiah would appear eventually.

Sure enough, within ten minutes, Obadiah appeared at the office door.

"Oh, look who it is! Our Tony Stark finally remembered he has a company. What have you been up to lately, Chairman?"

Obadiah walked straight over and sat beside Tony.

Seeing the two poured drinks, he was slightly surprised.

He smiled and said, "You always have good drinks here, right?"

He took a sip, lightly tapped the desk, and said:

"Tony, the outside world sees us as a joke. The largest weapons company no longer manufactures arms. Shareholders are very dissatisfied with you. You must take action to regain their confidence."

"Didn't you say you wanted to focus on renewable energy? I can help convince the shareholders, but you need results—like a mini arc reactor in your chest!"

Unlike in the movies, Tony's escape this time was entirely due to Qin Xiao's rescue—not relying on the original Mark I suit.

No one expected this. After all, Tony hadn't yet revealed the arc reactor data.

Even Obadiah never imagined it—until he saw the video sent by the Ten Rings yesterday.

That night, Obadiah summoned his scientists.

Making combat armor was simple—it was just materials and weapons.

The most troublesome part was energy. Tony's chest arc reactor looked simple.

Yet Obadiah's dozens of experts held an all-night meeting and still couldn't determine the research direction.

"I saw the video they sent you. I was tied to a chair. I think we need to have a serious talk, dear Uncle Obadiah!"

Tony lifted his head and spoke slowly.
