The morning sun struggled to break through the trees as Mia, Kai, and Amara made their way to the woods. The air was crisp, filled with the scent of damp earth and leaves. They were heading to the spot where Mia's witches' test would take place.
Mia's mind was a jumble of emotions. The dream, the Michelsons, the pressure of her heritage... it was all weighing on her. She felt like she was walking on eggshells, waiting for something to shatter.
