"Asta, are you thinking something bad about me?" I asked Asta with a terrifying smile on my face.
"No, no, how could I think anything bad about you, Wendy?" Asta whispered.
"That's what I thought," Wendy said, turning her back to Asta.
Asta sighed in relief.
'Wendy is so scary,' Asta thought.
Wendy sat down in one of the dining room chairs.
'This feminine intuition is really strange. When I was a man, I could only feel the stares of others, but now I can even sense the bad thoughts directed towards me.'
'But it's a good thing; a sharp intuition is better than having none.'
"Asta, Father Orsi will be back from the village chief's house."
"Also, a nun is coming to live at the church."
"Father said we should all be at the church at noon to welcome the nun, so don't try to awaken your magic today," Wendy explained to Asta.
"I understand, Wendy," Asta replied.
A few minutes later.
Outside the church, Father Orsi descended from the sky riding his flying broom.
"Wendy! Children, I'm back!" Father Orsi called out to the children with a joyful tone as he landed on the ground.
Upon hearing Father Orsi's voice, the children ran out of the church one after another.
"Welcome back, Father, how was your visit to the village chief's house?" Wendy asked Father Orsi.
"Everything went smoothly. Thanks to my good relationship with the village chief and some farmers, we'll have more sweet potatoes from now on," Father Orsi replied happily.
"That's very good news, Father."
Wendy looked at Father Orsi's head with sadness deep in her eyes.
'Father Orsi already has many strands of white hair; he's getting old. That's probably why he requested a nun for the Hage church.'
'His body tires more easily than when he was younger.' "Of course, this is very good news for the church."
"By the way, Father, what time will the nun you mentioned earlier arrive?" Wendy asks, carrying Nash in her arms.
"Yes, Father Orsi, Wendy stopped me from my training to awaken my super powerful magic," Asta says in a rather cheerful voice.
After all, the children still don't have the emotion of dissatisfaction.
"Don't worry, children, when I flew back from the village I saw the nun on the way," Father Orsi replied.
"Then why didn't you bring her with you, Father?" Wendy asks.
"Well, it's good manners to wait and welcome new residents at the door, otherwise it would be very rude to go and get her, giving the impression that we're already tired of waiting for her arrival," Father Orsi explained to Wendy and the children.
"That's a nuisance, if I were in the nun's place I wouldn't be offended, rather I'd be happy, after all, it saves me a bit of the journey," Wendy mutters in a voice neither too low nor too loud.
"Hahaha, Wendy, I would also like to pick her up on the way, but it's already the custom," Father Orsi laughs with a little amusement.
"How long will it take for the nun to arrive?" Wendy asks, not paying attention to the details of this world's etiquette.
"Probably in about 5 minutes."
"What? So little? I thought it was further away, but maybe she's just leaving the village," Wendy thinks aloud.
"That's right, children, since the nun is about to arrive, we'd better stay out here to wait for her," Father Orsi said.
"Okay," X4.
About five minutes later, we saw a nun in black and white with a large brown bag in the distance.
"Father Orsi, why don't you go and get the nun?" Wendy says.
"Of course, Wendy," Father Orsi walks towards Sister Lily with Nash in his arms.
Later... "Children, this is Sister Lily Aquaria. From now on, she will be working here. Please be kind to her," Father Orsi says calmly.
Stars appear in Asta's eyes.
"Sister Lily," Asta takes two steps forward as he speaks.
"Yes?" Sister Lily asks.
With a jump, Asta says, "Please marry me!"
Unconsciously, Sister Lily uses her magic and hits him with a fist made of water.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it," Sister Lily says, looking worried.
Groans, groans.
Asta is dazed after the blow.
Recca and Yuno support him from behind, and Recca says, "Asta is so obsessed."
"Yeah," Yuno agrees.
"This Asta is causing trouble again," Wendy comments.
"Oh, please forgive me, I'll use healing magic right away," Sister Lily says, preparing her grimoire.
"Don't worry, Sister Lily," Wendy says, placing her small hands on Asta's head.
"Heal," With her hands on Asta's head, a light green, almost transparent light emanates from her hands.
Shortly after, Asta regains his senses.
Shortly after, Asta regains consciousness.
"It's all ready, even the nuns can't get married and..." but before Wendy could finish, Asta, with even more enthusiasm, kneels down and says,
"Please, Sister Lily, marry me!"
Before anyone could react except Wendy, Sister Lily attacked Asta again with a punch of water, although weaker than before.
We all stared at Asta, soaked in water, lying on the ground.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I did it again," Sister Lily apologized while using her healing magic on Asta.
"Sister, marry me, with..." and Asta fainted.
'You know what, let life take its course, I won't bother preventing Asta from being hit every day by Sister Lily's magic, maybe he'll become more resistant to blows,' Wendy thought, tired of just thinking about constantly healing Asta.
She indifferently grabbed Asta by the neck like a dog.
"Don't worry, Sister Lily, this boy's name is Asta and he's quite resilient and has a lot of energy, just a little healing magic will be enough," Wendy tells Sister Lily.
"Are you sure, huh?" Sister Lily seems to doubt, not knowing the name of the blue-haired girl.
"My name is Wendy."
"Oh, thank you, Wendy, are you sure he'll be alright?" Sister Lily says worriedly.
"Don't worry, I'm very sure he's very resilient."
"But we'd better go inside the church," Wendy says as she drags Asta by the neck, but Asta's feet were still on the ground, leaving faint marks on the ground.
"....."
Good morning, afternoon, or evening. It's me, the author of this fanfiction.
I'm leaving this message to apologize for the delay in writing this new chapter.
The truth is, I have to work a lot at my job every day, and I only have a little free time, about 5 hours a day, and of those 5 hours, I take 3 to write this fanfiction.
Besides, I'm both the author and editor, so I have a lot of work. And thank you so much for reading this fanfic and giving me your power stones/collections.
This is the first fanfic that has received more than 9 power stones, having over 18 power stones in total.
This makes me very happy and motivated me to finish this chapter at 12:00 AM.
By the way, I know it's a lot to ask, but could you please leave a comment? A smiley face, a thank you, or even just a period would be great.
Thank you 🙂.
