Hello everyone, this is the author speaking. I was torn between writing this fanfic or another one, like "A Viltrumite in Warhammer 40k," but I ended up going with this one first.
In short, the first few chapters will focus on him discovering this world and its system before he visits any other universe.
If you'd like to see a particular universe appear, feel free to recommend one.

"Life certainly takes some turns—or in this case, death does." Alex realized, as he stood before a woman with golden wings and a radiant smile, that he didn't need to ask to deduce she was an angel.
To sum it up, I died from electrocution by a lightning bolt while playing Minecraft with my friends. After that, I found myself before a divine tribunal that judged my life and deeds, deciding what my next destination would be.
Surprisingly, I had excellent positive karma—apparently, a few good deeds from a simple life and some motivational speeches at rehabilitation centers ended up saving quite a few lives.
And since my character was judged as good, I was granted two choices: a new life with the two greatest desires of my heart fulfilled, or a chance to enter Heaven.
Although the idea of going to Heaven sounded incredibly good, as a person, I simply felt I hadn't lived enough—good old human desire and selfishness. And so, by choosing the second option, I ended up in my current situation.
"Mr. Alex, we have analyzed the two greatest desires of your heart. Would you like to hear them now, or discover them in your new life?" the angelic woman said sweetly. Alex signaled that he would like to hear them before reincarnating, to avoid any surprises.
"The first desire in your heart was quite broad: you wished to live an adventure like in your favorite game, Minecraft—to build, conquer, and explore. That is why we shall grant you a world based on your game, complete with a system to assist you," the woman said. Alex froze for a moment before smiling.
"Well, that's not bad—actually, it's really good," he thought, and decided to keep listening.
"As for your second desire, Mr. Alex, it is to visit and explore the many fictional worlds from your universe. Therefore, we shall grant you the ability to open portals to these universes. I must remind you that these universes are real worlds, and you must avoid senseless destruction or widespread chaos, or we will be compelled to intervene," the angelic woman announced. I nodded in affirmation, but my mind was already lost in clouds of happiness.
"With that, Mr. Alex, we are finished here. Remember to live your new life justly and rightly. Goodbye," she said, and Alex felt a pulling force before his consciousness faded away.
----------------------------------------------------
Alex slowly opened his eyes and felt warmth hitting his face. The world around him seemed strange yet somehow familiar to his senses. With effort, he sat up and stared at his own hands.
"Indeed, it wasn't a dream," Alex murmured, looking at his blocky arms and the blocky sun in the sky, before standing up and laughing loudly with joy. "Hahaha," he laughed as he ran through the grass.
After all, who wouldn't be happy to have an entire world to themselves?
At that moment, a small blue point of light floated in front of him, catching his attention. "Hello, Master. I am Nova, the spirit of this world," Nova said as she hovered before Alex.
"Oh, you're the one in charge of the system here, right? Tell me what you can do," Alex said curiously. The spirit circled him a few times before explaining her capabilities and how this world functioned.
Soon, Alex formed a summary in his mind: Nova was like the control center of this world. She could adjust the difficulty, change the weather, or help him open portals to other worlds.
Though she wouldn't directly intervene in everything under her domain, there were also some additional functions: she could create living beings from time to time, based on those registered in this place, so I wouldn't have to worry about this world lacking other human beings.
There was also an interface and an inventory, just like in the game, but the world itself was far more realistic—with more items, more ores, more tools, and apparently, the only limit was my imagination.
"Good, very good," I said, smiling, as I stood up ready to begin in this new world. "Do you wish to change the difficulty, Mr. Alex?" Nova asked. Alex shook his head.
"That won't be necessary for now. Keep it on Peaceful," he said. Since this was his new life, Alex didn't want to accidentally die to a Creeper right at the start—at least not until he was better prepared. For now, he'd keep the difficulty as it was.
With a small plan in mind, Alex began to walk. He stopped before a tree and started punching it. The initial sensation was strange, and although there was a slight pain, it felt more like hitting something solid—repeatedly.
Soon, he collected his first block of wood, then the second, then several trees.
And little by little, he began his journey in this world.
