Vogue opened his eyes and saw the entire class staring at him with various expressions on their faces!
His face twitched, and his eyes glanced to the podium, only to see cat-like eyes staring back at him expressionlessly.
Vogue 's eyes immediately paled.
'Kaput! I'm dead."
Teacher Raine continued to stare at him with her expressionless gaze as silence echoed through the entire hall like a dark blanket.
The silence stretched on from five seconds to ten seconds, all the way to fifteen seconds!
One of the students couldn't take the tension any longer and nervously swallowed their saliva.
In a silence as deafening as this, the sound was like a monster snake swallowing a human!
Finally, Teacher Raine adjusted her glasses and spoke.
"Vogue Morningster."
Her voice was soft and gentle, almost as though she was speaking to a lover which instead of making Bogue relaxed, it made him even more terrified!
This world was terrifying as it is, not to mention those who lived long enough in it.
If she had shouted, it would have been better, but she spoke gently instead!
"Y-yess Teacher Raine?" Vogue stammered and blinked as he replied nervously.
"Did you enjoy your nap?"
"I-I swear on my parents' lives, I wasn't sleeping!" Vogue placed his left hand in his chest and his raised the right up and spoke solemnly with seriousness on his face.
Teacher Raine eyes blinked and paused for a while before spoke again.
"You're an orphan, Vogue ."
"I… uh… swear on my best friend's life then?"
Teacher Vogue jaws clenched and the lectern before her started releasing cracking noises but she closed her eyes and inhaled then opened her eyes back.
"I will ask you again," Her voice dropped even lower and softer. "Did you enjoy your nap?"
Vogue swallowed hard. He could feel sweat forming on his back. She was really angry this time.
"Y-yes, Teacher Raine. It… it was a good nap."
"A good nap," she repeated, nodding slowly. "I see. You found my lecture so boring that you decided to sleep through it. And not only that, you woke up and decided to disturb everyone in the class after I just scolded them not to speak."
"Ma'm if you slept as I did you will—"
"Since you're so well rested now," Teacher Raine completely ignored and continued.
"Since you're so well rested, you wouldn't mind volunteering to be the first to partake in the practical exercise right?"
Vogue immediately heaved a sigh of relief. 'I thought the punishment would be something bad. I didn't know what would be a simple combat exercise.
He gazed at the Teacher and slapped his chest with confidence.
"Don't worry about that Teacher Raine. Not only would I be the first for the practical exercise I can volunteer to fight twice even!"
The jaws of everyone in the class room dropped as they stared at Vogue as though he had run mad!
Not even those who underwent a successful OSYMPIC test and awakened a god Talent would dare to brag of facing two radiants all by themselves! Not to mention Vogue who hadn't even awakened his system not to talk of talent!
"Oh! Is that so?" Teacher Raine raised an eyebrow and she immediately knew Vogue didn't have any idea what she was talking about.
Vogue nodded his head confidently. While he has little to no combat ability, he feels no pain, and with this ability, he can fight dirty. Which is most people don't like sparring with him. He would never give up until he could no longer stand.
"How about we make it three instead?" The teacher chuckled, making her chest jiggle in the process.
Vogue tilted his head slightly. Three would be extremely tiring and might cause internal damage. Also, the next Osympic test is in a week. He cannot afford to be incapacitated.

"Yes. Didn't you hear? Oh wait, you were asleep." Teacher Raine's smile turned incredibly vicious now.
