Elena's POV
I dove straight into work, collecting all the information I needed. The only thing that broke my focus was Oliver's soft snoring.
Glancing over, I noticed he'd dozed off while watching TV.
"Baby," I murmured, moving to his side to tuck him in properly before pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead.
I picked up the hotel phone and called room service.
When the food arrived, I ate mechanically while typing, barely tasting anything. After working on the article for over an hour, I finally finished. Reading through it multiple times, my heart swelled with satisfaction.
"Still got it," I laughed quietly, reaching for my phone.
Marcus had sent another message, and I read it with growing irritation.
My lawyers are waiting, Elena.
Fury coursed through me, my jaw clenching as I fired back:
'Go to hell, Marcus.'
After hitting send, I texted Dorian.
'I found the perfect loop sir and made an article on it. Would you love to read it before I publish it?
