It was a warm day of summer. The sun was beaming on the training grounds of Shin'ō academy with blazing heat, made bearable only by the soft breeze brought by the wind. Right in the middle of the grounds, a crowd of people was gathered for their final exam.
"Hado #31. Shakkahō!" A young and tall man shouted, gathering reiatsu and shooting the spell without using the incantation, his long white hairs flickering with the gust of wind, his blue eyes half closed to shield themselves from the crimson light.
the spell impacted, destroying the target with swift precision. The boy dusted off the academy uniform and took a breath. In a blink of shunpo, a man wearing the black shiakusho of the shinigami came near him and spoke.
"Exelent display, Yun. With this, you have officially graduated!" The man offered a warm, proud smile.
Yun smiled and bowed politely. "I need to thank you, sensei. I wouldn't have made it this far without your help."
his Zanjitsu mentor patted him on the shoulder. He had no doubt his student would make it this far, even if he severely lacked skill in his subject. Yun, on his hand, felt satisfied with himself.
he more than anything would know what a good teacher looks like. After all, he spent 40 years of his past life nurturing great minds to shape them in the best versions of themselves.
right after the graduation ceremony ended, Yun was left in his dorm room laying on his bed. To many, he was staring at the roof without a purpose but a blue screen only he could see glowed for the first time in over 20 years.

Yun blinked, unsure of what to think of the mechanical voice. He transmigrated to this world over 20 years ago and the system deigned him with only one appearance when he arrived before disappearing. The only thing it left was an enigmatic sentence— [the requirements have not been met yet]
he was no stranger with this kind of systems, but he couldn't believe it when he first opened his eyes in Rukongai. It didn't took long for him to realize he ended up in one of the most successful pieces of Japanese fiction ever.
the two main signs were the stinging hunger from having an above-avarage reiatsu and when he was about to die from a stray hollow. Yun had two not very tempting options: live a harsh but peaceful life in Rukongai, or live a slightly less harsh(not really, but still better than poverty… right?) life and become a shinigami.
he ultimately chose the latter, not only to escape poverty but also to do the thing he always loved doing even in his last life— teaching!
Yun always felt an unparalleled satisfaction in seeing his students fulfill themselves under his guidance, so he decided not to think in all the terrible events that would hit soul sosciety in the future and focused on achieving his dream. After all, dwelling too much on the future instead of worrying about the present will only mine his mental health. Especially when the future in question was so dreadful.

[Status is pretty self explanatory. You can see your basic information such as Name, age, race and occupation.]

[The skills panel allows you to see your skills and their level. The skills have 4 levels depending on your mastery of them: basic, medium, advanced, and mastery]

Yūn mentally sighed at the last. Coming here, he wasn't blessed with talent for swordsmanship. On the contrary, he was really bad with it, he was only able to master the bare minimum to graduate thanks to Ryusuke Shindo— his Zanjitsu teacher.
"Well, as long as I'll be able to teach I'm not worried about my lacklaster ability with the sword." Yūn shrugged.
[World hop allows you to jump in another world for a period of your choosing. Mind that to travel in another world you will need a special ticket]
"hm… and how do i earn these tickets?"
[you can earn rewards with the disciple function. By teaching certain things to your disciples, you gain rewards. The more complicated/advanced the teachings, the better the rewards.]
Yun nodded before closing the panel. He planned to stay as far away as possible from the battlefield, but with the system on his side he could allow himself to think of a change in the future.
the one thing he can do with his knowledge and his system is to try and change destiny for good. He looked out of his dorm's window, the prospect of an uncertain future was both intriguing and scary at the same time.
"I'd better start teaching, otherwise I'll never accomplish anything." He said to himself, not a statement but a promise.
