Far beyond Mayari territory, inside a stone fortress, another Alpha listened carefully to his spy while he reports. Alpha Magnus of Blackthorn Pack sat on his throne-like chair. One of his spies knelt before him.
"A human has entered Mayari pack," the spy reported.
Magnus raised an eyebrow.
" A human?"
"Yes, Alpha. A maid named Hallia Delan."
"The adopted daughter of Gamma Delan of Bloodfang Pack?" Magnus asked.
"Yes , Alpha. She was banished. She was accused of seducing the Beta's son but she denied everything. She said the Beta's son told her that she is his mate that's why she had accepted him to be with him for the past three years.
" Of course, He denied it, I'm guessing?" Magnus said.
" Yes, Alpha. Gamma Delan disowned her and throw out of the pack. She lived in the human town nearby and when the Mayari pack posted their open position, she applied."
Magnus leaned forward slowly.
For years he had watched Orion Rigel carefully.
The Mayari Pack was powerful. Gifted by the moon goddess after the former Luna's betrayal, aside from Orion is related to the King. But the mention of a human caught his attention. Especially when his spy added one more detail.
"The Mayari elder has begun searching the prophecy archives."
Magnus smiled darkly.
"Ah."
Now things were interesting. If the prophecy had begun____
Then Hallia Delan might be the key to healing the Mayari pack's Alpha from being feral. And Magnus had no intention of letting Orion Rigel be healed. He needed him to succumb to his wolf cruelty, for him to take over and expand his territory.
" Prepare the scouts," Magnus ordered.
" It's time we paid Mayari pack a visit."
