Within the bowels of nothingness, a bright light had erupted from what looked to be a point of impact. This light shun, consuming all traces of darkness around it, glistening and radiating heat never before felt.
Outside the perimeter of light, eldritch abominations screamed out, covering their faces with an unnatural amount of hands. Although briefly stopping the light, the very tips of the very light of which they attempted to block tore through their very concept. Their screams distorted violently as their very being started dissolving into nothingness. The rest of the abominations, although barely surviving, showed little to no interest in their brother disappearing.
Within the light, a silhouette of what looked to be a divine being levitated there, their appearance being completely white as long, luscious hair flowed from their very radiance.
"Foul creations.. No, you do not deserve that title, you are all the mistakes of another. Mistakes of which I was tasked in eradicating, destroying and purging." Their voice boomed through the vast, infinite empty space as the bright silhouette around the divine being remained. Raising their hand up, a large claymore of fire constructed from the very light he radiated.
"May your souls, or what is left of them, find peace in eternal slumber. I am sorry, for this is the only option. May the Lord and Father of the high heaven have mercy upon you all." Wrapping both hands around the grip of the blade, an endless stream of white rays beckoned out of the divine being, traveling at speeds of which the abominations could not follow. The very contact of the beams erased the very essence of the abominations, their screams fading one by one.
The empty void filled with more and more light, as further out, larger and more dangerous abominations remained, watching over in pure hatred.
"I see you all, may your watchful eyes be basked in the glory of my presence! For I am the WARRIOR of the HIGH HEAVENS, GABRIEL!" Gabriel's size grew exponentially, fluctuating like a violent flame. The abominations swung their arms as their mouths shot out hundreds of thousands of sharp dagger-like mini abominations. Gabriel's eyes squinted as he suddenly stopped in place, his body violently vibrating and looking semi-transparent.
The abominations looked infuriated as all the projectiles they sent out missed. They looked around, only for their vision to suddenly split, their bodies falling apart and all the mini abominations began to fall apart into diced versions of themselves.
"Goodbye." Gabriel said, as all the cuts he had inflicted on them violently combusted, erasing them completely. Gabriel then looked up, as a bright beam of purple light beckoned down onto him, although consumed, the beam started to expand outwards as within it Gabriel levitated unharmed, pointing his arm up as he twisted the very energy of the beam, shaping it into a ball that then shrank into a miniscule point.
He then flicked the ball upwards with such force, it ripped through the paper-like layers of infinite distance apart. "There is no end to them, they will continue coming and only send out stronger and stronger allies." Gabriel thought to himself, looking at his hand as he did not have many options.
"Completely destroying this place would vanquish a large majority of them, however, this is not their birthplace.. I must tackle the very source of this madness." The light that radiated off of Gabriel so brightly, began to compress down around him. The armor which covered him started glowing as brightly as his skin as with a mighty battle cry, he unleashed a light so powerful it tore through everything, erasing the very space around him.
"I may not have used all of my might, but destroying a space of this size was unpleasant.. It's like I tried tearing apart a book of infinite pages whilst each page represented an infinite space." He then shaped a ball of highly concentrated divine energy within his palms as he raised it into the air. The ball then expanded out into an all-seeing eye, scouting out everything around itself.
"I will not stop until I have found the very source of which creates these vile beasts." It hadn't taken long until the eye eventually locked onto something, although even the eye was uncertain what it was until its one pupil widened. Gabriel snapped his head to the eye, only for it to explode right in his face. The concentrated energy blew him far away, of which he then stopped himself.
"What in the Fathers name was that?!" His question then got answered moments later as a dark, empty abyss stared at him. Gabriel shaped out his blade, swinging forward, however, it cut nothing.
The abyss spoke back at him, chilling the angels. "Mighty messenger of the High Heavens, We inform you with a warning of a great evil of which We are brewing. An evil of which rivals the very High Heavens themselves and can surpass it."
Gabriel answered with a laugh. "You will never surpass the unsurpassable, the evil you speak of will be dealt with like the rest of the unholy creations you have sent." The abyss' spinning eventually started to die off, as it started fading, leaving with an echoing final message to Gabriel.
"We will see, messenger of God."
