I park my car at my parking spot and grab my bag.
I glance at my watch again. 7.59 am. I made it.
I walk into the entrance and sighed. Finally.
"Not so fast, Miss Michelle"
Suddenly, a sharp, masculine voice made my whole body stop making any move.
Please. I don't want to face that demon face the first thing in my school day morning.
"I'm sure I gave you warnings before about this. Well, to be exact, twice. This will be the third time and I will give you punishment regarding your tardiness. Meet me after at 2 pm sharp in stuco office."
Stop.
For your information, I was never ever late before. But I don't know why just.. why was I keep being late these days.
For the record, thrice this week. And it is the first week of my senior year. Great.
The bell rings.
I can hear the steps are getting far away from me. I sighed.
Let me tell you something. Carter Quinn is the most insane guy in school. Why? Because he's the epitome of school rules itself for gods sake.
You know, we don't have that strict teacher every school has. But we do have the student council discipline committee.
Too bad it is Mr Quinn that we're talking about here. Ugh.
So, why the hell am I terrified of him?
Well, let's just say that I happened to see the very sight of him lecturing one of my friend for not wearing a tie.
And his words were like.. even though I was just a paaserby, I felt like crying.
Seriously. Can you imagine that he was explaining the school rules to the poor boy?
And I would die from that rules lecture.
I open my eyes slowly just to see Jade standing in front of me with her worried face. I can't believe I closed my eyes while listening to his 'friendly announcement'.
"Hey, Jade. Are you okay?"
"That's exactly what I'm going to ask you but I won't" Jade sigh and pull my hand, walking through the empty hallway towards my locker.
"Let's think about this after our classes end, alright?" I nod, agreeing to what she said. Yeah, I need to focus on my classes.
