Chapter 5 - The Biggest Flirt

Tina pov

I sigh for the umpteenth times since I arrived in front of stuco office door.

"Tina? What are standing here for? Open the door, will you?"

"Oh, hey Sean". I step back to make way for him to open the door.

He sigh and open the door widely.

"Ladies first". He bow his head and make a hand gesture gracefully to welcome me in.

You think that he's a gentleman?

Nah. Well, he is but please know that he is the biggest flirt in this school.

With his cute face, he just need to flirt with every girl he sees. I wish I could give him a smack everytime I see that.

Of course, his flirting doesn't affect me. Believe it or not, he is my cousin.

So, yeah.

Family don't flirt with each other. That's it.

"Well, thanks" I mutter softly and enter the office to see no one is in there.

Thank god he's not here yet. I don't know what to do if Carter is already here.

I walk to the pantry to brew a teapot of tea. Ah, it's quite hot now, so let's prepare iced tea. I put back the teapot in cupboard and get a jug.

"So, what's up?" Sean asks.

"Late again. Gonna listen to his rules talk" I turn around to face him and flash a half smile. Well, at least I tried to smile.

I see him sitting on the black fluffy couch at the guest area at the centre of the office. Or you might say, our leisure area? We do take a break at that area once in a while.

You see, our office is quite spacious. So, we do have a pantry, meeting area, a mini studio- to make announcements throughout the school building- and the very comfy leisure area.

I turn my attention back to my tea and hear he start laughing.

"Seriously? Pffft. This is like , what? The fifth time you're late to school this week?" He doesn't stop laughing. God I just want to pour this tea on his head.

"Just shut up" I yell. I roll my eyes even though he can't see me as currently my back is facing him.

I lift the tray with a jug of iced tea and a few glasses on it and walk carefully to the centre. Yeah, you don't want to break the glasses or spill the tea.

I put the tray on the coffee table and pour the tea into two glasses. Sean is starting to calm down but fail terribly as he is still giggling to himself.

I prepared the tea quite fast, right? Nope.

Just.. when Sean starts laughing hard, he just can't stop for a while.

There was that day when Chelsea slipped and fell into a pool at his birthday party last year. I really have to admit that her face was so hilarious that everyone can't help but laugh especially with her makeup ruined.

And the Sean just couldn't refrain himself from laughing his ass off until the guests went home.

I take my seat in front of Sean and wait for him to calm down while gently take sip of my tea. Yeah, he's useless even if you try to knock some sense in his head when he's in this state.

For now, the one who can do that is Chelsea. Of course you don't want the student council vice president glaring at you each time you bump into each other. It's horrible especially when you work together.

Suddenly, the door is open and the stern Carter enters the office with Chelsea whose eyes still on her phone, following behind him.

Ah, suddenly I remember the reason why I'm here. Shoot I didn't prepare my heart.

Her red wavy hair flutter in the air as she walk towards Sean whose face is like seeing a ghost. Well, his birthday was like a month ago and we're a part of stuco, so we need to meet up to do work anyway. Her sharp glares and silent treatments towards Sean is still affecting him even though she's not doing that anymore.

I swear I see him flinch when Chelsea sit beside him. Poor him.

Stop.

I don't have time to worry about him. I'm the one who's waiting for my punishment. Not him.

I stare at Carter who is walking pretty slow- because he's reading the papers in his hands- with expressionless face.

"Hm. So, what's up?" Chelsea puts down her phone and pours the tea into her glass.

"Ah, before I forget, Tina, can you do me a favor? Well, I'm sure it suits you with your pretty lady look" She asks me while searching something in her bag.

"Huh? What favor?"

Without warning, Carter puts the papers on the table. "With this"

"I think this is good as your punishment" He sits on the single couch at my left side.

Puzzled, I take the papers and read the words on the front page.
