It had been four months since Leonard (Ray) first met the Lion and the Roc. The continuous training and mental downloads had refined his abilities.
he now understood the true capability of these abilities. For example, he initially thought ice Element Manipulation allowed him to only control ice, but the truth was he could manipulate any kind of liquid and harden it—he could even turn his body into water! The same principle applied to Light Manipulation.
That wasn't the only change. He had also received comprehensive martial arts training methods for both aerial and land combat. He'd become hooked on the training for a simple reason: he had to fight every night, whether he liked it or not.
In these three months, he never left his house. When he wasn't trying to make something or training, he was writing and publishing his past life's novels. Since most known fantasy works weren't in this world, and as a true fan, he felt compelled to share those masterpieces with the public (yeah, right).
In three short months, he had published two novels, Sword Art Online (SAO) and Berserk, while simultaneously creating a big bang in the manga world with One Piece and Naruto. Thankfully, the technology in this world was advanced enough for him to easily send his work online. These works alone put him in the top tier of unknown celebrities under the pseudonym "Moon Lion," as no one had seen his face.
and that just for the kick of it, as honestly with his fortun he didnt the money from it.
The one thing he didn't like was the part where he was forced to enter the mysterious forest every time he slept.
It wasn't like the first time on the mountaintop, but instead, the outskirts of the forest below. The first time he arrived, he was attacked by a group of twenty or so wolves; he only woke up after the last one finished him off.
Every time he jumped inside, he noticed more things. He would always wake up in the exact spot he had been in the last time, and every time he killed or defeated a creature, it would fall under his command.
The best part was that he could summon them in the real world. This fed his amusement, as he mused, "Imagine the face of someone coming at you with a group, only to end up surrounded by a hundred beasts who can't wait to turn him to shreds." He had every right to be happy.
as the closer he came to the central mountain, the stronger and smarter the beasts became; some even had unique abilities.
Today, Leo was heading to Forks for two reasons. The first was to stock up on food and drinks, and the second was to test his custom car. Over the past few months, he had built many things, some stupid, and some replicas from movies and shows. His car was one of the projects he'd obsessed over. The car's body remained the same, but the engine was changed to switch its power source between normal fuel and an Arc Reactor.
Yes, he had made an Arc Reactor, along with other high-tech gear. He now used it as the main energy source for his house, car, and bike. He also created magnetic tires that stuck to the road regardless of its condition, allowing him to speed without fear of flying off or sliding.

"Let's see what this beauty can do on the real road," I murmured, revving the engine and leaving the garage in my car.
My house is about a twenty-minute drive from town. The road is perfectly straight, ideal for a speed race. After leaving the house, I switched to the Arc Reactor and activated the gravity system. The engine note changed, resembling a jet engine. In the span of two seconds, I hit 270 km/h and was still accelerating. If it was a normal person driving, they would have lost control already.
In less than four minutes, I was almost at Forks. I slowed down and switched back to the normal engine.
As I was driving, I crossed a police vehicle standing on the side of the road, probably dealing with an engine problem. I pulled over to help him, and surprise, surprise, it was a man with brown hair—someone I recognized from this body's memory: Charlie Swan.
