The Return of the Time Dragon
Just before Veran and Raigor leave the sanctuary, the sky above them tears apart. The Time Dragon appears again, but this time his gaze is filled with terror.
"Stop!" he roars, his voice shaking reality itself.
Veran and Raigor freeze. "What is happening?"
The Dragon stares at the horizon with his cosmic eyes. "You thought the Puppet Master was the last obstacle… but you are wrong. He himself is a prisoner."
Raigor frowns. "A prisoner? Of whom?"
The Dragon hesitates. For the first time, he seems to fear something.
"An ancient presence… an entity that even I cannot fully understand."****"
Veran feels a cold shiver run down his spine. "You mean there is someone above him? Someone who controls the entire war?"
The Dragon nods slowly. "He is… The Shadow Behind the Throne. The true weaver of fate."
A chilling silence falls among the warriors.
"And if you continue on this path… he will notice you."
The Revelation: The Shadow Behind the Throne
Through the Dragon's magic, Veran and Raigor see a vision of the past.
In a throne shrouded in darkness, a faceless figure watches the world.
"The Puppet Master of War is merely his tool," the Dragon whispers. "He too has been bent to his will."
Raigor grittes his teeth. "Then we must defeat him before we reach the supreme being."
The Dragon shakes his head. "You cannot win by force. Not yet."
Veran crosses his arms. "Then we must find out more. If there is anything that can stop this Shadow, we must find it."
The Dragon lowers his gaze. "There is only one way to find out."
Raigor stares at him. "Say it."
