"Layla, what are you doing?"
"I'm offering you something better than that meal," Layla teased Marcus, taking yet another step and closing the gap between them.
"You've been so tough, Marcus. How about you come off that high mountain of yours and let me help you relax?"
"This isn't a game, Layla. You're playing with fire."
"Maybe I like fire," She replied immediately, placing her fingers on his bare chest. His skin was warm under her touch, he was getting himself aroused, and Layla loved that it was working.
"You don't have to be strict with me. Just be…you." She added,
"You don't know what you're asking for clearly. You must be drunk thinking you can just walk in here, say a few sweet words and I'll fall for it." He growled as he held her hand, stopping her from trailing her fingers on his chest.
"I'm asking you to let go for a little while. You don't have to fall for anything." She moved her eyes to meet his.
