Chapter 1 - INTRODUCTION

''ꪻꫝꫀ ᭙ꪮ᥅ꪶᦔ ꪮᠻ ᥴꫝ᥅ꪮꪑꪖꪻ꠸ꪀꪖ''

In the beginning, there were only two.

White: radiant and whole, the pure song of potential, harmony, and creation.

Black: silent and still, the sacred shadow, the quiet breath between every color, every heartbeat. Not an enemy, but a partner. A twin. Where White brought light, Black swallowed the excess, keeping it in check.

Together, they painted the art of existence, color blooming in their wake like stars across a once-empty sky.

For eons, they danced in balance, bending time, space, emotion, and matter. Unintended yet unexplained, the Fracture happened and from this divine harmony came the Seven Colors, shards of White's soul, refracted and made manifest, the Overlords came first: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, and Pink. Each bore a piece of her essence, and with Black as their guardian, they built the Seven Kingdoms.

But harmony, even divine, is delicate.

No one recalls what truly broke it.

Some say it was envy that Black, ever shadowed, craved to shine. Others whisper it was a sacrifice, that White, seeking to uplift her children, fractured herself too far. Whatever the cause, the result was undeniable..

A shattering.

A scream across the stars.

And where White's essence split into seven imperfect cores, Black twisted, wounded by the rupture. Its grief turned inward, its silence grew hungry. No longer balanced, Black became a hollow echo, a ravenous void.

From that place of imbalance rose the Black Pit, a gaping wound at the world's center. A crack where harmony once lived. It swallowed the soil, the sky, and the souls too weak to resist. From its depths came a new force

The Anti-Colors/Rebels ⚫️.. were first introduced as the three siblings.. the siblings of the hive, the most powerful yet most old.

The One Who Seeks

The One Who Speaks

The One Who Hears

Yet their number increased, parodies of the Seven, drained of color, yet alive. Not born, but broken. Their thoughts connected by one hivemind. Whatever Black touches.. becomes part of the family.

And the infection began.

A creeping corruption that fed not just on flesh, but on feeling. It spread quietly at first through dreams, through sorrow, through ambition left unchecked. Where once White nurtured peace, now Black devoured meaning. The sins of each color began to stir: wrath, greed, pride, lust, envy, sloth, gluttony. Shadows wearing smiles. Hope turning inward as what was once a meaningful color became a zombified husk.

The Legend of the Whiteborn ⚪️

Once in every age, long after the scars of the Fracture fade from memory and the colors war amongst themselves, a single spark of harmony returns to the land, a child born White.

It is said that this child is not merely a person, but a vessel. A fragment of the First Light, the essence that once unified all seven colors before they shattered into chaos. She bears no kingdom, no bias, and no sin, only potential. With her rise, she holds the power to draw the divided colors back together, to cleanse the corruption, and to burn the infection from the core of the world.

But the black pit remembers.

And it fears her.

For the Whiteborn is the only one destined to challenge the Hive, the only one who -if left to bloom- could mend the world and silence the hunger of the Anti-colors. And so, every time the world dares to hope, the Hive sends its shadows. Before she speaks, before she stands, before she even knows her name, they strike.

Always too early. Always too late.

No White has ever survived beyond childhood. No kingdom has ever truly united. And the cycle continues.

Until now.

For this time, one did not strike. He knelt.

It has been centuries since that fracture.

The kingdoms live still, painted but fading. Suspicious of one another, fragile in their pride. They war, they grieve, they forget.

And deep beneath them all, the Pit remembers.

And now the planet came to a halt of events.. giving time for the lands.. Chromatina to Thrive.

The people of Chromatina have a more colourful approach to life. Afterall, it's what they were born as, colours. In this new *world of vibrancy*, colours represent emotions and personalities, each unique to the seven regions that claim land of Chromatina.

1. Scarlet dominion [Red] 🔴, a fierce colour, full of warriors and strong wills. Red is known for their strength, their virtuous beliefs and being there to fight for them. Red kingdom's landscape is filled with molten lava and flames, the boiling heat a manifestation of a Red warriors *passion*.

In this land, fighting is what dictates your reputation, fine warriors are often recognised whilst weaker ones are left in the shadows. You must also prove worthiness to inherit any significant items via duels or tasks given. If successful, it's even by the land's law that you are obligated to hand over the item. There are methods to prove that this task was handed out and then successfully completed, in an attempt to combat misuse.

2. Velocitas [Orange]🟠, housing a kingdom full of *vitality.* All Orange residents inhabit characteristics of youthfulness. Naturally curious, increased life span and capable of remaining in peak physique for longer, they are natural speedsters in both races and inventing new ideas. The steampunk era that the Orange kingdom thrives best represents their creativity.

This kingdom is responsible for the trade of a lot of gadgets and inventions, being a reputable market amongst the seven kingdoms. There are markets willing to sell or take any item of interest, but watch out for those trying to get too much of their money's worth. You ever need any device? Whether it be a simple TV, or a niche utility, you can find it here.

3. Luminis [Yellow]🟡, a kingdom full of ancient Egyptian architecture and tradition. Although this land may not be as hot as the Red Kingdom, it should not be underestimated as precautions are still taken to avoid heat stroke, as this kingdom's sun shines as brightly as the gods and pharaoh they worship. Monumental pyramids are built, housing valuable treasure that easily attracts raiders. Unfortunately, these treasures can also be found by the Yellow residents themselves, who value it more than money. Making them a common target for these raiders to invade settlements and pillage their goods.

Consequently, settlements are often heavily secured by guards and are strict with newcomers. However, once you have earnt the trust of the guards and residents, they are welcoming and filled with *joy*. But be careful of the bandits and raiders who will attempt to shake you down on your way to these settlements.

4. Nautheris [Blue]🔵, a direct opposite of what we saw from Red and Yellow, their kingdom lies within the depths of the sea. Their infrastructure of ice, coral and stone, all used when necessary to create a thriving kingdom under the unknown. The residents of Blue Kingdom consist of a mermaid and mermen race, where socioeconomic factors are altered in their lifestyle choices, despite this still live in *serenity.*

Females in this kingdom are the dominant gender, stereotypes or standards for male apply to women and vice versa. -

The Blue kingdom find value in pearls, they have swimming races to compare endurance and tasks involving testing their limits on land. They are a daring kingdom, not afraid of challenges and risks.

5. Viridia [Green]🟢, the most heavily focused on the lushness and the beauty of nature, Green's landscape is full of trees that are thousands of years old thanks to the efforts of the kingdom's people. The Green Kingdom live in a tribesmen fashion, aiming towards maintaining a healthy environment in their land for both themselves and the trees. They consider themselves guardians of their land and don't take lightly to any infiltrators, all to try and live in *harmony.*

The Green Kingdom's citizens are hybrid plant people. All of them have a species of flower growing from the top of the head and the rest scattered indiscriminately all over their body. This makes wearing standard clothing difficult and uncomfortable, leading them to wearing loincloths and bras fabricated by plant fibre. Their skin may also be a green-ish tint and their eyes may have differently coloured sclera.

6. Dulcis regnum [Pink]🌸, an immensely sugary kingdom full of cotton candy clouds and chocolate river streams, leading to the Kingdom having a sweet tooth for desserts and treats. The kingdom's inhabitants are compassionate and *love* forming relationships. They focus very little of their efforts into maintaining a military, believing that their charm is enough to sway any conflict.

Although rare, this kingdom is the only one that can offer hybrid colours. Meaning hybrids will always have Pink as part of their dual colours.

7. And for the final region/colour of our seven kingdoms, Aethermire [Violet]🟣. A kingdom full of cybernetic enhancements and heavy industry. Their *wisdom* in technology comes at the cost of extreme pollution and their desire for knowledge and discovery may often lead to sacrifice. Whether that be pure betrayal or augmenting their creations onto themselves.

The diplomatic relations with this kingdom is rocky with this region being disliked by Green and Orange for their methods.

Kingdoms have more than basic civilians.. They have leaders, rulers and even royal families to guide their region's resources to the right path.

Royals/Overlords, The Sundering, or "Fracture," reshaped the world, giving rise to powerful individuals known as Overlords. Each Overlord established their own kingdom, personally summoning followers and leading their forces in constant conflict. These Overlords possess a direct connection to a specific color, wielding its associated powers and making them some of the most formidable beings on the planet.

Overlords, also known as Royals, have the ability to elevate others to Royal status. This bestows a share of the Overlord's power, granting access to the color's unique abilities and the choice of immunity to the plague. However, this power-sharing comes at a cost, diluting the Overlord's own strength. Therefore, Overlords typically only create a small number of Royals (between one and three). A delicate balance of power exists within the Royal ranks: two Royals of the same color possess a combined strength equal to a single Royal of a different color. This dynamic significantly influences political and military strategies. Royals can biologically create Nobles. Every royal has a certain signature they are identified with.

Nobles, Inheritors of Status

Nobles are the biological offspring of Overlords and Royals. While they inherit the potent bloodline, they do not possess the same direct connection to their color's power stream. Importantly, the number of Nobles does not diminish the strength of Royals. Even without color powers, Nobles are significantly stronger than ordinary civilians and, like Royals, can choose to become immune to the plague. The status of Noble can also be acquired through marriage to a Noble, and any children born from such unions are automatically considered Nobles, ensuring the continuation of this privileged class.

These are our seven kingdoms, all living in tandem with one another, whether that be a tough task like it is for Violet or an easy one for Pink. However, all kingdoms face a similar, reoccurring issue within their land. An issue that needs to be addressed daily, in order to maintain balance and power of their kingdoms.

The dark colours. A malicious variant of existing colours, looking to wreck chaos amongst their own lands and taint their reputation in a spotlight beaming suspicion and mistrust. Each dark colour represents a sin, each scattered between the seven kingdoms.

* Dark red is a representation of *wrath*, Dark Reds are ruthless and reckless in battle. Their rage and exceptional strength outmatches even the elite warriors of Red kingdom, resulting in plans and tactics needing to be devised between the Reds in order to counteract their evil variant. Dark Reds think nothing of the scar on their body and those who they may have been close to. All they think of is war and battle.

* Dark Orange is *gluttony*, an insatiable hunger for more and more. Whether it be power or food itself, they want more of it. Dark Orange are strong like Dark Reds, but without the uncontrolled rage. However, their body begins to slowly self-destruct, evident by their decreasing health. Orange avoids actively seeking Dark Oranges, planning to let them die out naturally. Consequently, if any Dark Oranges are causing too much harm, that is when action is taken.

* Dark Yellow resembles *greed*, their desire for power over everything else enables intelligent decision making and manipulation. They will do anything to be stronger, despite the risk. They shouldn't be underestimated, as it is a constant battle between Yellow and Dark Yellows. Whoever stays one step ahead are the ones who thrive, leading to the kingdom being at an imbalance more than any other kingdom.

* Dark Blue, *sloth*, this is all about potential and inaction. This malicious colour does offer greater abilities, but the motivation and desire to use these typically leave this kingdom having no need to tackle this threat. Dark Blues are Blues who have failed challenges and didn't have the willpower to push forwards.

* Dark Green, *envy*, their conversion to a dark colour occurs when bested by those around them. They witness others succeed more than them, get the most praise, attention, everything. The Dark Greens gain power from this feeling of insecurity, but leads to misuse and damage of the very forests they plan to protect and care for.

* Dark Pink, *lust*, the only dark colour that gains no inherent benefit from converting into a dark colour. Instead, Lust goes against moral principles of the pink kingdom, their desire for affection and something more leads to the fracturing and destruction of previous relationships. They taint the beauty of the Pink kingdom with their shameless actions.

* Dark Violet, *pride*, the immense superiority complex of Dark Violets leads to them underestimating others in their dark, evil schemes. This dark colour is the most common in any other kingdom due to Violet's nature. This is the only kingdom where a dark colour could be more popular than the actual colour itself. Their mental fortitude is enhanced and their ability to learn and discover is immensely easier, making adaptation difficult against this dark colour enemy.

Colored civilians can fuse with each other temporarily or permanently to create a whole new color or an entity that is a mix between 2 colors or more which can be used as a sign of self defence or a show of dominance and talent.

If different colors were to marry, the offspring is produced randomly, either related to the color of his father or his mother. An offspring hybrid can result from marrying, it is very rare, it is also deemed illegal in most regions and its execution is a must which forces its family to flee in order to protect their own lone child.
