Chapter 1 - 1- The System.

-----------------------------------------------------------

In an instant, Luna found herself in an endless white space, standing on what seemed to be the surface of an infinite white lake. A wave of confusion washed over her for a moment before she grasped her current situation. Then, a blue screen appeared before her.

(You died!)

"Damn it! I knew playing League of Legends for a week without sleep wouldn't end well!" Luna cursed loudly as her memories flooded back. She and her friends had made a promise not to stop playing until they ranked up to Diamond.

They spent five straight days chugging energy drinks, forcing themselves to stay awake and play. The worst part? They ended up stuck in Platinum 1, unable to climb any further. Luna's last memory was losing an 87-minute match, followed by a sharp pain in her chest.

"I definitely had a heart attack!" she fumed internally. At that moment, the blue screen in front of her began to change.

(Congratulations on completing your first life!

Luna stared in shame as her life's "achievements" flashed before her eyes. "Is this what they call deathbed regret?" she muttered, reminiscing about everything she had—or hadn't—done in life.

Unable to bear it any longer, she reached out and tapped the screen. "Enough already. I don't want to relive old memories. Why don't you just tell me what happens next?" she asked, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

The blue screen froze briefly before updating.

*(Based on your life achievements, choose one of the following four options:

1 - Reincarnate without your memories

2 - Receive 3 random powers from our Gacha and reincarnate

3 - Random transmigration

4 - Receive a random system from our Gacha and choose your destination world.

Warning: Your luck is directly tied to your karma and achievements.)*

Luna's eyes sparkled, and she clenched her fists, a grin spreading across her face. What fan of online novels hadn't dreamed of reincarnating and adventuring alongside their favorite characters?

"Wait a second… if my luck is tied to karma and achievements, doesn't that mean I'm screwed?" Realizing her predicament, Luna cursed mentally and began pacing back and forth, deep in thought.

Option 1 was out of the question—she didn't want to live a normal life again, much less forget her past one.

Option 2 was tempting. Who wouldn't want to roll the dice for cool powers like the Sharingan or All For One and dominate everything? But getting stuck with useless abilities—or worse, ones with obvious drawbacks—would be a nightmare. Imagine living as the Hulk, constantly struggling not to destroy everything in a rage. No thanks.

Option 3 wasn't appealing either. Like the second option, the odds of landing something terrible far outweighed the chance of getting something good or even average. Hard pass.

"That leaves me with Option 4," Luna murmured. Even if she couldn't choose the system itself, she could at least pick a world she knew and survive there—maybe even steal some protagonist's opportunities and climb the power ladder.

With renewed determination, Luna firmly pressed Option 4. The blue screen refreshed, and a slot machine-style Gacha system appeared, complete with a lever prompting her to pull.

Taking a deep breath, Luna grabbed the lever and yanked it down. The machine whirred to life, accompanied by casino-style music.

"Come on, give me something good," she whispered, watching as different systems flashed across the screen.

Kaiju Creation System.

Divine Culinary System.

World Conqueror System.

Monarch System.

Dozens of systems, from mundane to godly, cycled past, making her wish the machine would land on one of the powerful ones. Eventually, the roulette slowed… and stopped.

(DING! Congratulations—you've obtained the [Swordsman Technique Learning System!])

Luna's face froze as she read the result. A blue beam shot into her mind, flooding her with the system's details—how to use it, its functions, and its limitations. She wasn't sure whether to thank or curse her luck.

In short, the system wasn't bad—it could even be considered powerful. It contained every swordsman technique across the multiverse, from the weakest to the strongest, energy-based or purely physical. The problem? It only stored the techniques. Mastering them depended entirely on her. She could watch simulations, analyze mechanics down to the smallest detail, but that was it. The rest was up to her effort.

"At least this system lets me travel the multiverse to train," Luna sighed. In the end, if she wanted to grow stronger, it would all depend on her.

(Now, choose your next world and customize your appearance to suit your preferences.)

The blue screen transformed into a 3D model of her body, complete with sliders and adjustment options. Luna's eyes sparkled with excitement as she got to work.

First, she reset her body's age to 18. She increased her height to 180 cm and fine-tuned her old body's minor imperfections.

For her face, she gave herself mixed Asian features with ruby-red eyes. Her hair darkened until it was nearly night-black, shimmering faintly.

When it came to her bust and waist, Luna was tempted to go overboard—curves like a race track. But thinking ahead, she restrained herself, keeping her chest modest (like two small apples) and her waist slim but natural.

"I'd definitely be a supermodel back on Earth with this body," she murmured, then clicked Confirm Transformation. Instantly, she felt changes ripple through her—height, proportions, even her fingertips tingled as if ants were crawling under her skin.

The sensation faded quickly, leaving her slightly disoriented. "The screen did warn that drastic changes take getting used to," she muttered, flexing her hands a few times in satisfaction.

(Swordsman Technique Learning System

DING! Congratulations on your new body and system installation. As a reward, you've received a Growth Sword and a Shape-Shifting Outfit.)

A small white light flashed before Luna, and a rectangular stone (the sword) and a glove (the outfit) dropped into her hands. Instructions flooded her mind—she slipped on the glove, and in the next moment, her body shimmered white as a black kimono with red accents materialized on her.

"So cool!" Luna grinned. The outfit could change form once per day according to her preferences and even self-repaired.

As for the sword, it would morph into the perfect blade for her, growing sharper and stronger alongside her. A top-tier growth weapon.

Satisfied, Luna turned back to the screen. Now, it was time to choose her first world and begin her journey.
