Michelle stared at the door with a horrified expression. "What the hell was that?" she asked herself. "It looked like Huggy's arm..."
Michelle remembered Leith's tape, which made her face slightly pale. "Is that the less-tame aspect of this factory's security system?" she asked herself.
Michelle flinched and quickly shook her head before slapping her hands against her cheeks a bit. "Pull yourself together, Misha; your friends are counting on you," she said before approaching the door and grabbing the doorknob.
After Michelle twisted the doorknob and opened the door, she saw a dark, ominous hallway, which made her look at it with a deadpan expression. "Oh yeah, that's definitely not gonna give me a heart attack," she said sarcastically before sighing and entering.
As Michelle walked forward, she nervously looked around the long hallway until steam came out of a left pipe, which made her look at it, screaming. "Fuck you!!" she shouted.
Michelle tried to catch her breath as she stared at the steam while clenching her tank top with a trembling hand. "Stupid pipes..." she said in a low voice before walking past it.
When Michelle was near a door with a mural of Huggy Wuggy wearing a hard hat and a hammer in his hand, she placed her hand on the push bar before pushing it open, revealing a large warehouse with stairs on the other side.
As Michelle entered the room, she looked around before spotting a TV with a yellow VHS player in the left corner. "While I get that this company prides itself on other stuff, do they really have to paint their videotapes and players in different colors?" she asked herself.
Michelle approached the stairs before climbing them; when she reached the top and turned right, she spotted a control module. "You do something... but what?" she asked herself before walking toward it.
When Michelle was near the control module, she looked up and spotted a claw-like crane hanging above her, which made her hum a bit.
Michelle looked at the ground below and spotted a blue hand scanner and a red hand scanner near the conveyor belt. "Not only do those scanners call for a blue hand, but it also calls for a red hand," she said.
When Michelle looked forward, she spotted a red hand inside a glass case, which made her smile. "And it's right there, sweet!" she shouted.
Michelle looked at the control module. "It looks like I need to find four of these doohickeys to operate the crane and get that red hand," she continued.
Michelle looked at the ground and spotted a metal cube with a handle on top and glowing blue LED lights near the broken catwalk's railing.
Michelle grabbed the device's handle before lifting it and approaching the control module. "One down, three to go," she said before placing it in the blue slot.
When Michelle approached the catwalk's opening and looked down, she spotted a large pile of boxes. Michelle glanced to the left and saw a few dry red stains before shaking her head. "Stop it, Misha; it's not blood," she continued before jumping off the catwalk and landing on the box pile.
After Michelle got off the box pile, she looked around. "What's important now is getting that red hand inside that case," she said before walking to the right.
Soon after, Michelle spotted a large gate with a red handle before she aimed the arm cannon at it and pulled the trigger. The blue hand shot forward and grabbed the red handle before Michelle pulled the trigger, pulling the gate in the process.
After the gate was open, Michelle retracted the blue hand before approaching it. Michelle looked through the opening and noticed the TV with the yellow VHS player. "At least I won't have to jump on those boxes all the time," she said before turning away from it.
When Michelle looked up, she spotted a metal cube with a handle on top and red LED lights on top of a shelf, which made her smile. "There's the second one," she continued before aiming the arm cannon at it and pulling the trigger.
The blue hand shot forward and grabbed the red device's handle before retracting it. Michelle placed her backpack on the ground before grabbing the red device from the blue hand.
Michelle examined the device with a hum. "I don't think I can fit this thing inside my bag," she said before letting go of the arm cannon and feeling behind her GrabPack.
Soon after, Michelle felt hooks on the GrabPack's coil box, which made her smile and hang the red device's handle on one of them. "That'll work," she continued before carrying her backpack in her right arm and walking forward. "Now, two more remain."
As Michelle looked at the knocked-over shelf, she spotted a yellow VHS tape before grabbing it and examining it. "This could have some useful information," she said before approaching the opening.
When Michelle stood near the TV, she put the tape inside the player. Michelle looked at the TV as it booted up. "Ugh, Rich, where are they keeping the Huggy boxes?" a young man asked.
Michelle heard a scoff from the TV. "I don't know; I couldn't tell you," Rich said. "Remember when maintenance last did a sweep of this place?"
Michelle heard the young guy huff a bit. "No," he said.
"Exactly! Nobody in this stupid company knows what they're doing," Rich said. "Aw, I swear, I haven't seen a single box in its place since they started flooding the storehouse with orphanage junk."
Michelle was concerned. "Right..." the young man said.
"I get it, it's a nice program and all, on-brand, but..." Rich said before letting out an annoyed sigh. "It's just hard to be happy about it when manufacturing is on OUR NECKS about it, 'cause we can't find stupid Huggy boxes!"
Michelle crossed her arms. "That's rough, buddy; I kinda feel bad for the guy," she said in a low voice.
"Rich..." the young man said.
Michelle heard Rich sigh on the TV. "You're right, you're right," he said. "It's... It's for the orphanage... I just wish there were less boxes. Anything less would be more abidable... is-is that even a word? Abidable?"
When the tape ended, Michelle looked around the warehouse. "I guess some of, if not all, the employees had it rough," she said before approaching the opening.
As Michelle looked around the room, she spotted a metal cube with a handle on top and yellow LED lights on top of the boxes before aiming the arm cannon at it and pulling the trigger. The blue hand shot forward and grabbed the yellow device's handle before retracting it.
Michelle placed her backpack on the ground before grabbing the yellow device from the blue hand and hanging it on the second hook. "Now, only one remains," she said before picking it up.
When Michelle looked behind the shelves, she spotted a metal cube with a handle on top and green LED lights on the ground, which made her let go of the arm cannon before grabbing it. "And that's the last one," she continued before hanging it on the third hook.
After Michelle sprinted through the opening and climbed the stairs, she got on the catwalk before turning right and standing near the control module.
When Michelle looked up, her eyes widened, and her bag slipped out of her arm when she saw Huggy Wuggy inside a small vent, smiling at her with a bit of his teeth showing before the vent shutter closed.
Michelle looked down, horrified, and placed her hands against her head. "No fucking way did I just see that statue smiling at me... and it had teeth..." she said in a low voice. "I have to be... hallucinating or something..."
Michelle shook her head. "Yeah... that's it; that was a hallucination," she continued before grabbing the devices and putting them in their right colors.
As Michelle picked up her backpack, the crane came to life before moving toward the other side. When the crane was above the red hand's case, its claws opened before lowering down and grabbing it.
Michelle smiled and approached the opening as the crane lifted the case in the air. "Come to Mama," she said as it moved toward her.
Halfway through, the crane suddenly stopped before dropping the case, which shattered the glass and made Michelle pump her fist in the air. "Yes!" she shouted before jumping off the catwalk and landing on the box pile.
After Michelle got off the box pile, she got on the conveyor belt and approached the broken case before grabbing the red hand and putting it in the right arm cannon. "We now have both hands," she said before looking at her backpack. "Now I need to figure out how to carry you..."
Michelle thought of something and held her backpack out before grabbing the left arm cannon's handle and putting it through one of the straps.
After Michelle did the same thing with the right arm cannon, she placed the backpack's straps on her shoulders. "That'll work," she said before stepping over the broken case and approaching the hand scanners. "Now I can open you."
When Michelle stood at the end of the conveyor belt, she grabbed the arm cannons' handles before aiming them at the scanners and pulling both triggers.
Both hands shot forward and touched the scanners, activating them. "Hang on, guys... I'm coming to find you," Michelle said.
After the scanners finished and both hands retracted back to Michelle, the vent door opened halfway, which made her crouch before going through it.
After Michelle stood up properly, she walked forward while looking around with squinted eyes. "I really wish I had packed a flashlight for how dark this place is," she said.
When Michelle looked down, she noticed the conveyor belt had a downslope before stopping near the edge. Michelle stared at the downslope before taking a deep breath and exhaling. "This is gonna be really stupid," she said before she started sliding down.
Soon after, Michelle stopped herself at the end of the downslope before stepping forward a bit.
Michelle turned her head to the left and spotted an input socket before looking at the downward slope on her right. "I guess we've got another electric puzzle," she said before looking around.
Michelle spotted a gap on the back right side before approaching it. After Michelle went through the gap, she turned her head to the left and spotted an electric pole in the middle of a downward slope. "There's the electric pole; now, where's the power source?" she asked herself before walking forward.
Michelle turned left and spotted an upward slope before climbing it. When Michelle reached the top, she turned her head to the right and spotted the power socket, which made her smile and aim the right arm cannon at it. "There you are," she said before pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot toward the power socket, which lit the cable; Michelle looked at the electric pole before stepping to the left. "Now to go down this slope and wrap the cord around the pole," she said before sliding down the slope.
After wrapping the cable around the electric pole, Michelle approached the input socket before aiming the left arm cannon at it and pulling the trigger, launching the blue hand.
When the blue hand touched the input socket, the vent door opened, and the conveyor belt started moving, which shocked Michelle as the GrabPack's hands retracted.
Michelle crouched and looked around with concern as she went up the slope with the conveyor belt's help. "Where is this thing taking me now?" she asked herself.
When Michelle reached the top, a red light shone a bit, which made her look at it. Soon after, toy pieces fell and landed before Michelle, which surprised her. Another red light went off, which made toy pieces come out of the left side.
When the third red light went off, toy pieces came out of the right side, which made Michelle cover her face a bit. When Michelle looked forward, the conveyor belt turned left, and she saw some light before sliding down and stopping on the edge of a tube with broken glass.
When Michelle stood up properly, she was in a room with a giant machine and a large sign that said 'Make-A-Friend'. "The Make-A-Friend place..." she said in a low voice before going through the opening and jumping down.
As Michelle walked around, she spotted a large shutter before approaching it; when she was near it, she noticed a scanner on the right side.
Michelle looked at the shutter and noticed a Huggy Wuggy poster that said 'Nobody leaves without a toy!', which made her hum. "I'm guessing I need a toy to open this shutter up," she said.
As Michelle turned away from the shutter, she spotted a plaque and a control panel before approaching them. When Michelle was near the control center, she turned her head to the plaque. "To think this was made in the '60s by the owner himself..." she said in a low voice.
Michelle looked at the control panel and pressed the button, but it started short-circuiting, which irritated her. "Well, that's just great; we got another electric puzzle," she said. "Whose idea was it to make puzzles to power this shit up?!"
As the room echoed, Michelle took a deep breath and exhaled. "Keep it together... Katie would definitely not want to see me mad," she continued before walking away.
Soon after, Michelle spotted the stairs and started climbing them. When Michelle reached the top, she spotted a TV with a pink VHS player on a shelf. "There must be another tape around here somewhere..." she said in a low voice before walking to the left.
When Michelle got on the catwalk, she saw a gap in the catwalk with a red handle on the other side. Michelle aimed the right arm cannon at the red handle on the catwalk before pulling the trigger, launching the red hand and grabbing it.
When Michelle pulled the trigger, the red hand pulled the platform toward her before it retracted back to her. "Nice," she said before getting on it.
As Michelle looked at the area below, she spotted a pink VHS tape on a ledge. "You sneaky bitch; if I weren't looking around, I'd definitely miss you," she said before aiming the right arm cannon at it and pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and grabbed the tape; after it retracted back to Michelle, she grabbed it before approaching the player.
After Michelle put the tape in the player, she looked at the screen as it booted up. "So, Stella, what made you want to work at the Playtime Co. factory?" an interviewer asked.
"Playing with toys when I was young was so magical," Stella said. "I could go straight from my bedroom floor to anywhere in the world. It was such a great feeling."
Michelle tilted her head. "Stella... I think I remember hearing her voice at the Game Station when I was young; she seems nice," she said.
"And... being able to work at a toy factory... somewhere that can provide kids with that same experience... that's a pretty great feeling, too!" Stella shouted a bit with a slight laugh. "Sometimes though... I really, really wish I could go back. To being a kid, I mean."
Michelle crossed her arms and looked away. "I'd like that as well, along with forgetting the people that adopted me and putting me back at the orphanage..." she said in a low voice.
"And it's weird, 'cause... adults are just kids, but older!" Stella shouted a bit, which made Michelle look at the screen. "I don't think anyone ever really feels like an adult. But your body just gets older... and older... and then you die."
Michelle felt slightly uncomfortable as Stella made a 'poof' noise before laughing a bit. "Human bodies just can't stay young forever," she continued. "There's things, though! Like some trees that can stay alive even while being way older than a person."
Michelle stepped back a bit. "I mean... the oldest people to ever live are STILL younger than those! So I guess everyone is always young relative to something... right?" Stella asked.
"Alright... I think we're getting a little off track..." the interviewer said before the tape ended.
Michelle turned away from the TV. "Off track... that's a big understatement..." she said before walking forward. "Let's just... power up the machine..."
After Michelle crossed the catwalk, she spotted a power socket in the distance. When Michelle turned left, she saw two electric poles on the middle catwalk and a moving pathway under it. "This one will be much trickier to do," she said before aiming the right arm cannon at the red handle and pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and grabbed the red handle before pulling the pathway toward Michelle. After the red hand let go of the red handle, Michelle crossed the pathway before walking to the right.
When Michelle was on the other side, she spotted the input socket. "That's where I have to put the electricity in..." she said in a low voice before looking at the pathway. "I think I know how to do it."
Michelle aimed the left arm cannon at the red handle before pulling the left trigger, launching the blue hand and grabbing it.
After the blue hand pulled the pathway and Michelle retracted it, she crossed it before walking to the right. When Michelle was near the power socket, she aimed the right arm cannon at it before pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and touched the power socket, which lit the cable. "I probably have a limited amount of distance between these hands, so..." Michelle said before getting on the railing.
As Michelle balanced herself on the railing, she jumped forward before landing on the catwalk. "I'll have to cut this corner, so I don't hit the wire's limit," she continued before walking forward.
After Michelle circled the electric poles, she crossed the pathway before aiming the left arm cannon at the input socket and pulling the trigger, launching the blue hand.
When the blue hand touched the input socket, sparks came off the cords before traveling toward the control panel, which made Michelle smile as the GrabPack's hands retracted toward her. "Nice," she said before sprinting toward the stairs. "Now let's make ourselves a friend."
When Michelle got to the lower ground, she approached the control panel and pressed the button.
When nothing happened, Michelle looked around, confused. "Why is this thing not—" she was interrupted when the machine made a whistling noise, which startled her, and she looked at the machine angrily. "Screw you!"
Michelle growled a bit before looking at the levers near the tubes. "I'm guessing that's how I can make my friend," she said before aiming the arm cannons at two of them and pulling the triggers.
Both hands shot forward and grabbed the levers before pulling them; after Michelle retracted them back, she aimed the right arm cannon at the third lever before pulling the trigger.
The red hand shot forward and grabbed the lever before pulling it and retracting it back to Michelle. A toy piece came out of each tube before landing on the conveyor belt.
Michelle looked at the machine as the toy parts entered the first part. Soon after, Michelle saw that the toy parts were colored yellow, black, and white before entering the middle part of the machine.
Afterward, the toy circled the back before reaching the third part of the machine. A laser grid appeared and scanned around the toy before it disappeared.
When Michelle reached the broken part of the conveyor belt, she saw a half-cat, half-bee toy stop at a vent door. Michelle grabbed the toy with a smile. "Aw, it's a Cat-Bee toy," she said. "Katie would love a toy like you."
Michelle approached the shutter with the scanner next to it. "Let's place you on that scanner," she continued.
When Michelle was close to the scanner, she placed the Cat-Bee toy on it. As Michelle stepped back, the machine scanned the Cat-Bee toy before it disintegrated, which made her flinch with a sweatdrop. "I guess that's one way to make up a one-time use item," she said.
After the shutter opened, Michelle walked forward. "Now I gotta find a way to—" she was cut off when she saw Huggy Wuggy emerge from the dark hallway with his teeth showing.
Michelle's eyes widened, and she backed away while Huggy Wuggy approached her. "Oh God... what I saw wasn't a hallucination... the statue is alive!!" she shouted.
As the alarms went off, Michelle turned her head to the left and saw the vent door open. "I gotta get away from him!" she shouted before sprinting toward it, which made Huggy Wuggy follow.
