|WATTPAD CREATORS PROGRAM · TEGSA 2025| When the Thunderbird awakens in the Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park, the Mystery Gang and their new friend Ihaan embark on a journey that tests everything they thought they knew about mysteries and the Ghost of Ontario. *** After surviving their first year of college, the Mystery Gang is excited to return to Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park to spend a week with their friend Ihaan, where they try to reintroduce him to society with modern gifts--and teach him the fun of solving mysteries. However, that night, Ihaan dreams of the Thunderbird, a Spirit said to encompass good and evil, who only appears when someone needs help. The next day, he and the gang are drawn into a new mystery when the Spirit Animals disappear, and a strange lightning storm signals the return of the Thunderbird. As Ihaan and the gang fight to calm the Lightning Spirit and save the Spirit Animals, Ihaan must learn where he truly belongs, while the Mystery Gang learns the harsh truth of the word "erasure". Chapter 1 - Stupidity is Back! | Author's Note

 Unfortunately, I am back—LOL! Welcome back to The Ghost of Ontario, Scooby-Doo version! Don't ask—I just had way too much fun with The Ghost of Ontario for ONC 2025. I also need to keep planning the original novel, so here I am… again.

 The Lightning Spirit is the sequel to The Ghost of Ontario; however, I will write it as a standalone with references to the first story. Therefore, you guys don't need to read The Ghost of Ontario first.

 I'm writing this story for TEGSA 2025, another prompt contest, by @AprilJester on Wattpad. Since it's based on an ONC novella, I plan to have The Lightning Spirit follow an ONC 2025 prompt, along with smaller prompts for each chapter for the contest. In short, there will be one main prompt and several smaller prompts.

 Also, like the ONC novella, I will blend the familiarity of the franchise with originality to give you the best of both worlds. The Mystery Gang and Ihaan are about to solve a brand-new mystery, the Mystery of the Thunderbird, and learn the true meaning of the word "erasure" in a different kind of Scooby-Doo mystery. Like all my stories, The Lightning Spirit's plot and character driven, written in a screenplay-like writing style.

 I seriously don't know what's wrong with me, but I am so excited for another story in both the Scooby-Doo and Ghost of Ontario worlds! It's time to begin binge-watching Scooby-Doo again.
