Walking out of the portal felt like being given instantaneous hangover relief medicine. One moment the world was spiraling, the next everything was A-OK!
Setting that aside, my shield was already raised, held in my left hand. Crouching forward, I took in the scenery. It wasn't too different from my Minecraft world, but it felt strange. The tree trunks here are way, way thicker than back home.
Seeing no danger nearby, I walked over to one of the trees, an iron axe already in hand. Raising it high, I gave a mighty swing.
THUCK!
The axe got stuck. My xp bar trembled.

Yanking my axe out, I patted the thick tree. It didn't feel special... was it because I'm in a different dimension? Anyway, I wasn't here to be a lumberjack.
Okay, maybe I kind of am. But right now, I need to explore this place, so adventure-mode we go?
Scratching my head, I equipped my sword once more. Unlike the Minecraft world, the forest here was lively, to say the least. Birds chirping, insects crawling all over the place, and I even saw a boar. Wish I brought a bow and arrows. My bad.
Speaking of which, I turn around. The portal was bare, open for anything to crawl through. Let's change that. My golden thro—ahem, my house is at the other side. Who knows if there's a world eating alien in this place?
Luckily, placing blocks was relatively the same in this place. The issue was, I didn't bring any building blocks. That's how I found myself digging up a moat around the portal, and then using the dirt blocks to cover it up. By the way, I had to dig up one cubic meter of dirt for it to enter my inventory.
Otherwise... It'll show up as an unusable "phantom" block that wastes an inventory slot. Until I dig up and collect the right amount, it'll stay like that. The same went for every other blocks. There's also an option to delete the phantom block from my inventory.
"Phew." Wiping off the sweat from my brows, I looked at the dirt "wall" in satisfaction. It should suffice, for now. I wasn't planning to explore very far. Slow and steady wins the race... I hope.
I turned around. A man was right there, eyes blazing in red with... what's that, four black pupils in each eye??? Before I could say anything, the man made a series of symbols with his hand, then opened his mouth

'What's a samurai doing here?' Arata Uchiha narrowed his eyes, his sharingan activated. Their mission was to clear out bandits in one area of the forest, and then regroup. He never expected to see a samurai in full iron armor.
'And what's with the shield? And don't they use katana?' He frowned. However, seeing the "samurai" turning to face him, his hands instinctively moved.
Before he knew it, chakra was already gathered in his throat.
