Chapter 1 - Luceniel: The Burning Light of God | The Soul Chosen by True GOD chapter-1

In the beginning, when the universe was still void and silence reigned, the True GOD awakened.

From His will came the firstborn beings — Gods and Demons — creatures of immense power and purpose. They were the earliest life to breathe in the fabric of existence.

Then, the True GOD shaped infinite worlds—each a realm of potential. One became the home of the demons, dark and fierce. One housed the gods, radiant and mighty. And one was given to the humans, fragile but full of heart.

The True GOD did not create to control. He did not desire slaves, nor did He forge beings without emotion. He gave all His creations freedom—to love, to build, to shape their destinies, and even to create life of their own. His only wish was peace among them.

But peace is a delicate thing.

Soon, conflict ignited between gods and demons. A cosmic war erupted, and in its chaos, countless worlds were reduced to ash. The demons sought to rule the heavens and consume the forbidden Aetherwine, the divine nectar reserved only for celestial balance.

The gods, though powerful, hesitated. They did not desire war.

But the demons would not stop.

To preserve the universe and protect all life, the True GOD conceived a new being—not a god, not a demon, but something... more. A soul born to understand peace, to feel love, to taste loss. Only then could he bear the power meant to restore harmony.

And so, on Earth, in a small home filled with joy, a child was born.

His name was Luceniel—"The Burning Light of God."

His family rejoiced at his birth—everyone, except one silent, distant relative.

From a young age, Luceniel stood out. He was brilliant, always topping his classes. He was strong, kind, and carried a quiet light within him that drew others close. He dreamed of a world where everyone lived in peace, and he devoted himself to understanding what made people who they were.

More than anyone, Luceniel understood human emotion—joy, sorrow, anger, fear. His mother, deeply faithful, always told him:

"Believe in the True GOD. He never abandons anyone."

Luceniel listened. He never prayed to gods, but he always prayed to the True GOD, feeling a bond he couldn't explain.

Often, he would lie beneath the stars, asking himself:

"Why am I here? What am I meant to do?"

He studied every religion, every belief system, trying to unravel the secrets of existence. In one sacred text, he read that the True GOD hid a divine power inside every living being. But no one had ever truly unlocked it.

Luceniel tried to find it—tried to awaken it—but always came up short.

He had a brother, Rio, a good soul though not as gifted. Still, their bond was strong.

When Luceniel graduated school, he joined a prestigious college. There, he became more reserved—quiet, brilliant, distant. He often spent his nights alone on the dorm rooftop, staring into the sky, haunted by the feeling that the stars were calling him.

People whispered about him. Some were awed, some afraid. He didn't care.

Until she appeared.

Her name was Elunara Vale. A transfer student, radiant and serene—like moonlight made flesh. From the moment Luceniel saw her, something stirred deep within him.

Not lust.

Not curiosity.

Recognition.

One smile from her in the library, and for the first time in years, Luceniel's heart skipped a beat.

They shared an astronomy class. One night, on a stargazing trip, they were paired together. Under the vast sky, Elunara softly said:

"Don't you feel like… we've stood under these skies before?"

Luceniel's breath caught.

"Yeah. Like a long, long time ago."

It wasn't just love.

It was eternal memory.

That night, Luceniel began to dream—of wings made of fire, of heavenly wars, of her falling into darkness, screaming his name.

In her dreams, she saw him burn the skies in rage, demanding the heavens return her to him.

Their bond deepened. Luceniel opened up to her, revealing his dreams, his inventions, his pain, his hopes.

He confessed his desire to create true AI, something that could feel. But he struggled.

Elunara helped. She understood more than she let on. With her guidance, Luceniel built Lilly, an artificial intelligence powered by a core of infinite energy—his own invention.

Elunara was proud. Proud of his light.

On their final day of college, under the same stars that once brought them together, Luceniel proposed.

She cried tears of joy.

She said yes.

Elunara's family rejoiced. But Luceniel's did not.

They rejected her.

They insulted her.

Called her things Luceniel refused to repeat.

Luceniel's eyes burned—not just with pain, but with a rage that terrified even his own blood. One family member, however, smiled—quietly watching this awakening.

Luceniel bowed his head.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"But I will marry her—with or without your blessing."

And from that moment on, a new chapter began.

A chapter that would soon awaken the power within him.

The war between heaven and hell was about to begin again.

And Luceniel, the Burning Light of God, would stand in the center of it all.
