"Come on, let's go," the man gently stirred Calista in the direction of the exit.
Calista sighed, "If I hadn't come out, none of this would happen. I did say this is the last anyway," she muttered to herself with head bowed as she let herself be dragged out of the mortifying situation.
"I am so sorry, I didn't know something like that would happen. I mean, I know she's hotheaded, but that aggravated too soon, I apologize."
She shook her head, "It's okay."
He laid a gentle hand on her shoulder, "No, it's not, I promise I won't contact you again, even if I see you on the street, I'll look the other way, wouldn't want you remembering such ugly events." He vowed as he held his hand out to hail her a cab.
She smiled wearily, "That'd be nice. Have a good night." She bid him goodbye and stepped into the vehicle. She thought long and hard about the situation, but realized she was better off letting it off her mind.
