Orion furiously opened the car door and let Calista enter before moving to his side. His hands clenched around the steering wheel, knuckles white against the dark leather. Calista was feeling nervous with the anger that was rolling off of him in waves.
Her bottom lip was caught between her teeth, as she found herself thinking back to the tender kiss Orion placed on both her cheeks. A peck was more than enough to prove his point and make Lilith back odd, but he kissed both cheeks, Calista was confused.
"That wasn't part of the agreement, but I guess we needed to be convincing enough," she reassured herself.
Stealing another glance at him, Orion's jaw was set, she could see the muscle ticking in his cheek and his driving was more auto pilot now as he got lost in his frustrations.
As soon as the engine stopped the moment they got home, Orion was out the door, slamming with a force that shook Calista's nerves.
