Thompson burst through the front door of his parent's mansion, his face flushed with anger. He stormed into the living room, where his mother Sandra, sat scrolling on her tablet.
"Mom, you need to talk to Orion about Calista," Thompson blurted out without greeting her, his fists clenched at his side.
"No hi Mom, hello mother, how are you doing? Oh I'm doing okay, Thompson, I'm doing just great." She replied sarcastically without looking at him.
He whined, "Mom!" Sandra rolled her eyes at her child.
She finally looked up, her perfectly manicure eyebrow arching, "And why do you want me to talk to your cousin when you can march to his office right now and do so yourself?"
Thompson opened his mouth to respond, but Sandra cut him off, turning her tablet to face him. "Have you seen this latest blog post about them? They look so in love. I wish your Father would look at me that way, but all he does is golf, cook and then golf some more." She sighed.
