The sun light shines through the window of a young man's room.
" Kan...breakfast is ready...get down here after washing up and head to school"
His mother calls out to him
Kan with a face filled with disgust sighs and say under his breath.
" I wake up again in this hole of darkness which I call my life "
The dinning table is filled with laughter as Ichigo, Kan's younger brother tells his parents about his lost soccer game and examination challenges he had to go through as both were happening at the same time.
Kan standing at the conner sighs as he enters the dinning room, like a rain cloud destroying lunch time for middle schoolers, Kan seats down without greeting anyone and starts to eat.
" In this house we greet people Kan...got it "
His father says with a imitating expression, unfazed Kan stares at him and takes his food and walkes to the door, stops and greets and thanks his younger brother for the food than walkes out. Kan is a third year high schooler while Ichigo is a first year , the two brothers school at the same high school but never talk or walk to school together.
" Mom I think I will walk to school today " Ichigo says as he walks out without getting a reply from his mother
Ichigo quickly walks so he can walk to school with his brother and not so far from him...Ichigo sees his older brother and trys to catch up to him but Kan stops and turns around and warns Ichigo about getting to close, he tells him if he gets to close than his life will fall in the dark hole which Kan lives in, he then continue to walk.
" Then let me be the light in your hole of darkness "
Ichigo shouts out to his older brother. Kan stop for a sec and turns around and is about to say something but sees a car approaching them and quickly turns and walkes away, Ichigo attains to catch up but hears a voice calling to him , he turns to see who it is.
Ichigo's mom calls to him to get in the car, Ichigo thinks this is his chance to enter the school gates with his older brother and looks back to call for his older brother but realizes that Kan already went.
Ichigo disappointed enters the car
The car passes by and Kan hiding at the conner of the street continue to walkes to school with a smile on his face.
SAKURA HIGH the school at which Ichigo and Kan attain, well known for it's high performing students, Kan enters the school and instantly changes personality...form a gloomy character to a bright cheerful one.
School has been seen as the main source of loneliness to many students but in Kan's eyes school was and still is a place where he can fully open up and relax...a large group of students call out to Kan so he can join them as they are going to buy some ice tea, Ichigo says his goodbyes to his mother, they both hear a loud voice in a group of girls and boys walking towards them, Kan in his free zone laughing crashes in his mother and brother.
Kan turns around says sorry and pretended like he doesn't know them and walkes away, his mother does the same and speaks in a soft voice.
The hours fly by when Kan is at school, after doing extra study classes Ken heads home.
The he moment Kan steps outside the school his expression turns dark when thinking that he has to go home, but one of his friends calls out to him and invites him to some green tea and Kan's bright personality once again returns as he smiles happily says
" Yeah dude who would say no to that "
Ichigo is running back to school because he forgot something. While running he sees Kan and his friend so he quickly speeds up and runs pass so he can walke with them, Kan and his friend knowing ichigo how him decided to wait for him. While talking to his friend Kan sees two kids crossing the street who seem to be brother and sister. The younger one stop on the middle of the road and ties his shoe , Kan's heart starts to pounding rapidly and he wonders why. A loud rumbling sound can be heard , Kan's friend shouts.
" What is happening"
From the corner of his eye Kan sees a trunk speeding out of control
" Err...the kids " Kan thinks out loud
" Kan wait...wha- huh " Kan's friend finally realizes the state of the situation
Kan quickly jumps to action and runs towards the kids.
The elder sister sees the incoming trunk and trys to pull her younger brother but she slips and hurt her ankle
" Ach...my ankle " she thinks to herself
" Ishikawa quick run across " she desperately tells her younger brother to run but he says no and trys to pull her while crying out her name
The sound of tyres can be heard as Ichigo standing in front of the school gate , shocked by the event runs to his brother
" Somebody help...please"
A woman shouts out as Kan lies half dead on the ground, as his life flashes before him, he thinks to himself that his life was filled with nothing but pain and suffering since birth, when he was born his parents had to pay a fortune to keep him alive which made his parents slowly hate him, they never showed it even when alone with him but he knew how they felt from the age of five, but he never minded as long they feed him and said that they loved him even if it was empty words.
The only person, his parents really loved was his younger brother, who was not just handsome but had a body of god and smart, his was the perfect child both parents wanted, smart and good with sports. A child needs both his mother and father's love but never got any from both sides
" Guess the only thing I can actually say thanks for is my younger brother " Kan speaks softly "oh yeah the two kids are they fine...oh thank God "
Kan says as he relaxes his neck and looks up to and sees Ichigo " huh...Ichigo the hell you crying for idiot...I told you before a man never crys in front of peop...ple...eer"
Slowly Kan loses consion.
The morning sun raises and starts off a new day as Kan opens his eyes in the hospital with his brother sleeping on the seat next to his bed.
" Hey idiot wake up..." in a weak voice Kan Wakes up Ichigo " why the hell are you here...you should be in school "
Ichigo quickly gets up and jumps to hugs him.
" Aaww!!...the trunk didn't kill me but you are going to squeez the shit out of me Ichigo, don't squeeze me to death "
A happy but pain filled voice Kan tells his younger brother not to hug him so hard.
" I'm so glad you are alright Kan when I saw your motionless body on the ground, I thought you were dead...I'm so glad you are okay big brother "
Ichigo crys with relief that his brother is doing fine...Kan smiles looking at his younger brother and thinks to himself.
" Even how hard life has been for me...Ichigo you are the light in my hole of darkness which I call life...I'm glad as well Ichigo that I have you in my life "
Kan embraces his younger brother.
The hours pass by as the two brothers talk and Laugh, eventually Ichigo heads home, send off by his older brother.
Kan lies peaceful looking at the window as the moon light shine through Window giving the room a blue glow and a peaceful atmosphere. The thought of knowing that his younger brother truly cares for him, Kan slowly drafts off to sleep.
The room door slowly opens as three figures enter the room and stand around Kan's bed.
" Let's make this quick...hold him down "
One of the figures tells they other two.
Kan starts to feel his hands getting heavy, like his body can feel the blade about to go through his head, Kan moves his head to the side and when he opens his eyes a bright light shines directly to the centre of his eye. The light hits the knife which is only a few centimeters away from his head.
" Huh...shit I messed "
The figure with the knife say frustrated.
" You stupid idiot how can you mess somebody who is sleeping "
The other two figures muck him .
Kan lying on the bed unable to move attains to shout but the figure getting mocked runs the knife across Kan's throat. The blood spraying allover the room, gasping for air, Kan lies frozen with fear as the figure repeatedly drives the knife into his body as he loses consion , Kan sees two more figures standing and watching him been killed.
" Wh-who the hell...er..."
The morning sun once again brings a new day as a nurse is doing her rounds slowly opens Kan's room door but just before she can fully open the door she sees a pool of blood in front of her as she fully opens the door , caught in the moment the nurse's gaze followes the blood.
Slowly she turns her gaze towards Kan's bed .
" Aaaahhhh "
Her shout echoes throughout the hospital.
The news about Kan's brutal murder spreads like wild fire leaving everybody who knew him speechless and hurt but the one person hurt the most by this is Ichigo who is destroyed and can't accept that his older brother was killed in such a manner.
" Turn the lights of Ichigo...damnit Ichigo turn the stupid lights off...oh yeah I'm dead "
Kan Wakes up in bright white room with nothing but a small tv set where he has been watching his brother for the past week, annoyed by the fact that he has been dead for a week and has not gone to heaven or hell yet.
Kan while wondering around the room a thought comes to mind
" where is the tv being plugged at...?? " he looks around the tv but doesn't see a cable or any outlet , a frustrated Ken picks up the tv and throws it across the room but the tv hits something. Kan gets closer to have a good look and notice a door handle
" Why the hell is the handle colored white " he yells out in announce
Slowly he turns it and opens the door
" You finally open the door, that took to long if I must say myself "
Before him a man dressed very casually is seating in a room which has a table and two seats at both ends of it.
" The heck is going on here " Kan asks in a confused manner
" I'm god " replied the strange man
" What no way look at you...you look a gamer or something "
" I look like this cus that's what you want to see, from my view you are nothing but a ball of light speaking to me...also be glad that you look like that cus if you were a black ball then you wouldn't even be speaking to me right now "
Kan is taken back by this and quickly seats down, he than gets a full explanation on what's going on and why he was brutally murdered.
" So the two extra people I saw were my mom and dad watching me get killed...uh that's a lot to take in...but not like I don't see it coming "
" Do you wish to why th- "
" No thanks " Kan refuses "as long as my brother is going to be fine I really don't care why they did it "
A river of tears runs down Kan's face, Kan trys to hold back his tears but they just keep flowing like a overflowed dam he crys uncontrollably.
" You say that you don't care but it's very much obvious that you do care Kan...why do you refuse the truth "
" I-I just don't get it " Kan crys in despair " why would they do this...wha-what did I do...it could have been better if I wasn't born cus now because of me they committed a sin...wh-why was I born "
" You do want to know why they did...don't you...?"
" No...I'm fine "
The atmosphere had a tense feel to it and nothing but the broken tv spikes can be heard in the other room as both Kan and the god stayed in complete silence.
" If you wish I can return you to your worl-"
" Nah...I'm fine but it will be kinda sad that I don't get to say my good byes to Ichigo through..."
The god stares at him, wondering why his behaviour has changed even after hearing something as brutal as your parents getting people to kill you and being there to watch as you lose your life.
" Humans are strange creatures that I don't understand...I created everything...I created the heavens and earth, I created the endless oceans of world, I created human in my images, I see what's in your hearts...I see your future and past at the same time...but humans ate from the fruit of life which made it so that I can't see what is in your mind...body, soul and mind those are what makes humans and demons different from any other creatures...you both have a bit of god like builds but yet both humans and demons choose a path which takes them away from the light and towards the dark..."

The room suddenly became brighter and the god begins to float while reviewing his true form.
" I will give you a chance to say your good byes to your younger brother Ichigo and the rest is up to you ...return once again with the same light you have...maybe brighter than now...farewell Kan Tanaka you have much to do and people to save this of yours is that of a savior , you were meant to be more so I will make it so... go now Toyoka and save the your homeland "
" What is that supposes to mean...hey what's going on...aahh "
Leaves gently float through the air curried by autumn brizz as Ichigo stands in front of Kan's grave.
" Hey Kan...guess what...I'm top of my class again...see I kept the promise I gave you,I never stopped studying and working hard "
Ichigo spoke softly as tears started flowing , tying with all his might but can't stop the build up of sadness.
" For crying out loud how many times do I have to tell you that you need to stop crying so much man...how are you going to get yourself a girlfriend like that "
Ichigo hears a voice that he thought he wouldn't hear ever again, slowly turns around.
" It's be a while little Ichie.."
The cold brizz gives the atmosphere a claim feel to it as ichigo stands frozen facing his older brother in front of him
Like light it's self Ichigo ran and hugs Kan leaving him unable to react and hugs him tightly.
" Aaaahhh, again with the tight hugs "Kan softly smiled and embraces his younger brother. " but still I missed you too...Ichigo "
" Snap"
The sound of someone taking a picture can be heard behind the two brothers, they slowly turn to see who it is. A blond girl with glasses on, with a middle school uniform is smiling ear to ear .
" Huh...hey Ichigo do you know her" asked Kan
" Yeah...she is actually my gi-.."
" Hi there...my name is Toga Wolfson a last year middle schooler and I'm half English and Japanese...my mom is Japanese but my dad is from the U.K and I've been Ichigo' s girl friend for the past month and a half "
The tables have turned as Kan is the one frozen in place this time.
" Ichigo...yo-you have a girl friend "Kan asks in a loud and shocked voice
Kan, Ichigo and Toga seat on bench in front of the graveyard and just a cross the road a river can be seen .
" Dude...!! " Kan yells in announce " you are a straight A student and you couldn't see that I was just making fun of you "
" Yes Ichigo " agreed Toga" I'm with Kan-san on this one...it was clearly a way of mocking you "
Kan and Toga laugh at Ichigo for being a genius but can't see through a simple act of mockery by his older brother which was that Ichigo must find a girl who believes in ghost so that the day Kan dies they can find a way to communicate with him but Ichigo is not bothered but that.
" Ichigo I really can't believe that you would obey something so stupid as follow my so called dying wish and I really hope you are not just using her so you can obey my little prank right cus playing with people's hearts is not a very manly thing to do " asked Kan
" Of course not " replied Ichigo " I do love her and I think she is a very kind and a sweet perso-" Ichigo stops talking as he looks at Kan as he is are about to break in to laughter
" I can't believe he fall for it " Kan laughs uncontrollably
Toga is taken back by this and hides her face from Ichigo's gaze
" But anyway I'm glad...I was kinda worried that you would end up alone but you aren't" says Kan
" Even if he don't have me...you guy's parents are great people...so he wouldn't be alone would he "
The mood suddenly became dark and uneasy with Kan and Ichigo's expressions which are clearly those of rage and disgust.
" Huh...guys are you good " asked Toga
" Big brother I want to believe that the people who hired those men to kill you was our parents...am I wrong...?" Asked Ichigo
" Ichigo how could you say something like that about your paren-.." Toga trys to reason with Ichigo
" Yes...it was them"
Toga is frozen in place from hearing this .
" Big brother you are here so that means that you can go to the police and repor-..." Right before Ichigo can finish his sentence, he notices that Kan is transparent.
" Big brother what's going on I can see through your body "
" Oh yeah...guess the time is up " replied Kan
" Time?...what time...??" Asked Ichigo
" I only came back to say my good byes and See how you are doing and I guess I don't have to worry about you "
" But brother..."
Tears once again start flowing on Ichigo's face
" For crying out loud Ichigo really again...hey Toga can you please stay on his side even if things get hard...he crys very easily "
" I wasn't planning on leaving him so you have nothing to worry about...Kan-san" replied Toga
Kan smiles softly as tears flow on his face as well.
" You are one to speak..." Ichigo mockery say to Kan
" Shut up there was something in my eye And Ichigo take good care of his girl cus if I find out that you harmed her I wouldn't forgive you...you hear me "
Kan's voice starts cracking from tying to hold his tears back while his body slowly fates away.
The atmosphere is claiming as Toga and Ichigo look up to the sky.
The sunset light hits the water creating a mythical feel.
" It's dark and warm...the hell am I "
Kan finds his self in a strange dark and warm please...looking around he notices light and runs towards it.
" He's opening his eyes..." a gray colored hair lady with long blade like ears shouts out.
" Huh...what the hell "
Kan is surprised as he finds his self in the body of a baby surrounded by what seems to be elf women in a very big room with medieval style furniture and the clothing of the elf women are as well those of medieval style.
" My lord your son has been born" says the gray colored elf
" Yes my son...next in line to role and protect the people of the great panther district...my son Toyota Koji "
" Huh...wh-what...WHY THE FUCK I'M A BABY...!!"
Kan yells out but only the sound of a new born baby can be heard.
